  I'm trying to follow this tutorial to make dynamic Web sites:

  I did part 1 completely and that you was fine until trying to set up the Add Post feature.  The database works well group information in the page manage messages and when I add the server behavior insert record, it looks good, but hitting the "Post!" button does nothing mode live view or in the browser preview.  It does not add the record, nor it redirects to the manage_posts.php link.  There simply nothing even when I'm holding cmd click (I use a Mac).  Other links are working fine.

  I can add a record manually in phpMyAdmin and make it display properly in mode live view on the manage_posts page.

  I use a leapord mac snow running and using the Cloud Dreamweaver CS6 Designer.  Using MAMP for a local server and phpMyAdmin, exactly as they appear in the first part of the tutorial.

  Your "poster!" is a button, not a submit button.  Change to a type = 'submit' and see if it works.

  1 closed Thunderbird and Firefox. Went to the Windows 10 start - > settings-> system-> Default apps and changed the web browser by default for Microsoft Edge.

  Hi FInku, please try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  When I go to internet banking as a clydesdale, it opens a new page to connect, but a few days ago it stopped working with the new update.   Here are two other things to check:

  (1) connection settings - have they been customized?

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

  Click the mini network, and then click the settings button

  The default value of 'Use system proxy settings' should follow your 'LAN' setting, as well as IE, but you can also try 'No proxy' to see if that makes a difference.

  (2) extensions - test Firefox to turn off Safe Mode

  Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

  I have the MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, mi 2014)

  It used to work before but not sure when it stopped updating of OS X El Capitan its launch if upgrading the origin of the problem.

  Here are the details:

  1. open Finder

  2. right click on a file (an image or text file) and click on share

  A list appears as a form of share options

  

  3. by clicking on the Mail or Notes or any other option does nothing

  4. after clicking on the option, the Finder disables other options also

  

  And I need to restart the finder because it stops to change records and by closing the window also.

  5. I tried to run the following to reset, but did not work

  Test in a new user quickly will tell you if the problem is system-wide or if your user folder that contains the problem.

  CREATE A NEW USER

  Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.

  Switch to the new user by logging incoming/outgoing or use the fast user switching.

  You can ignore the signature with your Apple ID, unless you want to test iCloud

  By default only the applications Apple will be in the dock in the new user. Go to Applications to open other apps, that you can test.

  You still see the issue?

  If Yes, then the problem is with your core files.

  You can try running the updated Apple combo. Often, it will fix weird questions.

  If not, then the problem is in your user folder.

  Try to remove the com.apple.finder.plist in the user's Library/Preferences folder.

  Restart then check. You may reset some of your preferences after deleting this file.

• By selecting 'Open in a new tab' right-click menu does nothing

  I just updated to firefox 24 on OXS. The right click menu now is meaningless.

  When I right click on a web link, and select 'Open in new tab', nothing happens. No tab opens.

  However, I see now countless options irrelevant for that link, such as 'copy the audio location', 'copy the location of the image', 'play', 'pause', etc., when the article I have clicking on is not an image, audio, video or any other type of media. The content of the right click menu is now longer than my entire screen, completely out of place for the link I'm clicking on and the only option that is relevant does nothing.

  How can I fix?

  I had the same problem. I found that disable Firebug in my Extensions menu solved the problem, so when I right click it appears the menu of standard options rather than the new options 100 or so which do not apply.

  If you have installed too much Firebug, you might want to give this a shot. I have not upgraded my Firebug in no time so it might be a problem with running an older version of it.

  I'm on Win 7, Firefox 22. When I go to tools-> Options, security; by clicking the button "show passwords" does nothing. The button flashes to show it has been activated, but the list of password does not appear.

  Additional information;

  I had updated to Firefox V22 via the automatic update mechanism. Given that several things were becoming a problem, I have deleted Firefox, has made a new download and reinstalled.

  Problems of access password and tracking options are now solved.
