Mac Mail showing a plugin in/Users/USER/location when there is no user named USER account

Thanks in advance for your comments. I'm hopelessly confused and I was afraid that my infected machine.

I tried running Mac Mail a couple of times and it stopped on me. Then the third time it closes that I received an error message that a plugin has caused the problem. The path of the Plugin is listed as /Users/USER/Library/Mail/*/HockeySDK.framework/Versions/A/HockeySDK and the Plugin identifier is net.hockeyapp.sdk.mac.

I searched using terminal, finder and the console for a user named 'USER' on my mac account. I see users root are my user name.

I understand that it is possible to hide a user account, but have you tried the commands that should display all hidden user accounts and they have not revealed a user named USER account. To be clear, I have tried all the standard ways in the terminal to find a user account and cannot.

Is someone can you please tell me if my Mac is infected with some hidden user account? Here are some of the comments of the 'details and System Configuration problem' as the form of question will allow me to answer:

It seems to be a related e-mail folder.

In my case, I get this report due to a persistent fall whenever I click on the "Get new mail" icon in the mail.

I wonder if someone answers this question could enlighten us as well.

  • Mac Mail will not create a file to import when importing .mbox files

    I've recently moved from an old Mac Pro (2008) a new (end of 2013). Both are running El Capitan (OSX 10.11.2) and the latest version of the mail (9.2). My old machine was old enough, so I skipped using Migration Assistant and performed a clean installation.

    I'm a graphic designer and, in the past, I always saved my emails into folders for each customer. When I finished work, I export it as a .mbox and check it in case I need to reference it later. If I need it later, I use "file > import mailboxes," select "import data since: Apple Mail," find the archived .mbox file and select it.     I just bought my two children, who are 7 and 9, an iPod Touch each.     Well, if yes then u just pull the email from the recordset variable. To make the Recordset, go to server behaviors > recordset. The field filter, choose the user name > session variable > MM_Username. Then, towards the face u can see "Bindings", click it and click on the recordset that you did before you see all the variables in this Recordset (click more +). Then you just have to drag this e-mail on your page variable. It's done!

  • 'File name' is locked for editing by 'Client', why not show the correct user account

    A .xls file created by MS Excel 2003 and saved on the server files (Windows Server 2008 R2 without Service Pack).

    We have two users: A and c. accounts of A and C join same above file server's domain. A approval of the admin on the server, C is a common user. The version of MS Excel on the pc is 2010, although it is 2003 for C.

    C tries to open a file on the server and it has the change permission on the file and the file, however, the file is locked for editing by 'administrator '. For the moment, no one opens this file, so which is 'Administrator'?

    More tests:

    (1) once A open file C is reached, there is message: file is locked for editing by 'Client', so why shows 'Client' instead of a correct domain account?

    (2) after C opens the file and then A is reached, there is message: file is locked for a domain C user account. So it seems OK.
