• HP 2549: HP 2549 and Mac OS x: double-sided printing does not work

  I just installed this printer on my Macbook Air and I cannot print double-sided. I tried by USB / wireless (in the case where there is a difference between the two) but no luck.

  but I did not tab "driver". I only have "Général", "Levels of power" and "utility." I tried to delete the printer and then add it with HP 2359 and AirPrint not but that does not change.

  When I print a pdf document, double-sided printed is greyed out and I cannot change.

  What should I do? I already reinstalled the drivers on the HP Web site, I selected all the things that I can install it, but that has not changed anything.

  I see that two-sided printing does not work with your printer HP 2549 on Mac OS X 10.10. I'm happy to help with this problem!

  I assume that your printer is a HP Deskjet 2549, otherwise please reply with the exact type of printer you have. To find product/model number of your printer follow the instructions in this link. Find your model number of the HP product.

  Otherwise, if the type of printer you have. According to this guide, print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing).   I tried to put a new font size of system for all finder windows, but in fact it does not. Every Finder window displays now 11 or 12 characters, but I tried sure 11 as default. Why it does not work?   I have 2 computers, a MacPro and a Macbook Pro. Both use OS 10.4.11. The two Macs have Flash 9 for Intel Mac installed as well as Shockwave 10.
  
  Both computers have Safari 3.11; However, my default browser is Firefox. On my MacPro, I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.14, and on my Macbook Pro, I'm on Firefox 3 beta.
  
  Suddenly today while on my MacPro using Firefox 2.0.0.14, I went to a Web site where I just before watching an embedded Youtube video and could no longer see any video, it was replaced by the empty space.
  
  Still with Safari on the MacPro even on the same Web page, I could see the embedded YouTube video.
  
  I thought it was a thing of Firefox, however, what's weird is that on my * Macbook Pro * where I am currently using the beta version of Firefox 3, I'm quite able to see YouTube video on this same Web page.
  
  When I visited the Shockwave test page, it said that I had no Shockwave 11 and so I thought that maybe I should now install Shockwave 11 on my MacPro. I downloaded it. Leave my browser and other applications, and has installed. I restarted my Mac and went to the Shockwave test page which confirmed that I had managed to install Shockwave 11.
  
  That said, I STILL could not * see * any video from YouTube on the same site I had been too early. Yet when I opened Safari and went on the same site, the embedded YouTube video was there.
  
  Yet why did on my Macbook Pro with 10 Shockwave and Flash Player 9, I can see the Youtube embedded video in a beta version of Firefox 3?
  
  Any help would be most appreciated. Last year I went through hell and back trying to solve the problem of Flash Player 9 on an Intel Mac (and fact - under the nickname 'sheewolf' and 'voxpopgirl')). See here

  I am trying to install WinXP on this laptop. The CD starts correctly, the message on the system configuration, but then screen turns white and HARD drive led lights. When I start pressing the keys, it starts to beep after I pressed several keys.

  I did install and use Windows XP on this laptop, but I removed it to try Win7 RC and recently I deleted the partition and the partition recovery (WinRE) and created a single instead NTFS partition and now I have this problem.

  Are you sure that the question is not related to the lack of driver SATA (if SATA is set to AHCI in the BIOS)?

  Usually it should not have a problem with the installation you are going to install the operating system without the SATA drivers but the SATA mode must be changed to a compatible or you install the OS with the drivers SATA and SATA AHCI value mode.

  Check it!

• CF 9 installer does not work on Mac OS Lion

  So I'll try to setup CF 9 on my Mac under OS X Lion and, surprise, surprise, the installer will not work. I meet this wonderful problem on windows before, but can't remember how I solved it or I know it would be the same problem. Just to be clear, it is not an installation process has failed. The process is not yet start, Setup does not work. I know that maybe they do not support Lion, but even so, something should happen in the installer saying that the OS is not taken in charge or something.

  I checked the logs from the Console, and this is the error that is coming:

  No idea what it really means, I always run facilities in this same directory and never had a problem. I'm guessing that maybe it is trying to copy the installation files to archive somewhere and execution of this directory and fails, but do not know how to fix this problem.

  I installed ColdFusion over 100 times on many operating systems and do not remember ever having a problem. So, I find your difficult bitterness. I get as frustrated with people who get immediately outraged a problem like this, especially when trying to make something that is clearly not supported.  CF9 is not compatible with the Lion, so try not to get so frustrated with Adobe when you try to do something they never claimed that you should be able to do.

  That said, I'll try to help.

  First of all, are you aware that the Lion does not come with Java?  Have you installed it?

  Second, have you check the permissions on the installer execute. Who owns the file? It does not matter if you have run the installer from the directory before, files can have their own authorization. Maybe something with your got buggered. Worst case, you could just put it to 777 (remember that a .app is a package, you must recursively process the file permission changes.  chmod - rf 777 ColdFusion\ 9 Installer.app).

  You can always try to download the file again.

  iPhone is last 9.3.3

  OSX is 10.11.4

  Setting up Personal Hotspot on the iPhone and then connecting via Wi - Fi laptop does not work. Error message "Unable to connect" standard and suggestion of using Wi - Fi diagnostics (also does not help).

  Go to Bluetooth prefs on OSX and the connection it does not work. Matching does not work, but we CAN see the iPhone. The WiFi scanner captures also the iPhone.

  If connect us the iPhone via the cable and then put in place a personal Hotspot, it does not.

  Surfing on the web, everything works. Disconnect the cable, and it stops again.

  I succeeded in pairing my iPhone to the laptop, so it seems apparent to another iPhone. I'm leaving work via cable uses a direct route via the cable which is a different connection method than live bluetooth signal?

  We have removed the Bluetooth of OSX preferences > no change.

  Reset us the iOS network settings > no change.

• Windows, download itunes says windows Installer updates does not work

  I too manage download of updates, get the errors for microsoft office 2007.  I tried to download the utility for him but can't even download that.  Says windows setup does not work.  I ran malwarebyes but still does not load them.  Can I reload windows vista without losing everything?

  Unregister Windows Installer and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:

  2. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
  3. in the menu 'Start', click 'run '.
