  • DeskJet D2360: Deskjet 2360 - prints wrong colors, even if the test page seems well

In 10 (64-bit) Windows, Deskjet D2360 prints the well test page, but the colors aren't any application (documents, photos...). Cyan looks like dark blue. Green also appears dark blue. I just updated the drivers from the HP website, but the behavior remains the same.

The problem appeared after Windows 10 updates (January 2016 and later versions).

Print and Scan Doctor couldn't fix it. Help!

(Suggestion: If your printer prints the test page, why not propose an image file with what the test is supposed to look like.) This is useful especially to confirm colors. If I have a print test and see a few squares of color, how could I know if they are the correct colors?)

After a long period of frustration, I found the non-professional magic solution:

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Selection easy printing on tray 1 or 2

We have an Officejet Pro 8620 with extra paper tray. Tray 1 for Virgin paper, tray 2 for the paper with the logo of the company.

Now, when we want to print to tray 2, we reject Tray 1, whereas, after a few attempts the software switches to tray 2 and printing begins.

It is possible, before printing, to change the setting in the software, select printing for tray 2. But it's pretty heavy.

We want an easy way to select printing for Tray 1 or the tiroir2. For example, as seen in other environments, so that we can choose to print on:

-HP Officejet Pro 8620 (Tray 1) or

-HP Officejet Pro 8620 (tray 2)

This could be seen as a separate printers. How can we achieve this?

Change the setting every time, is not a good option. In addition, we have other software that we want to configure so that they automatically print to the correct bin.

    Thank you!

  • HP LASERJET 4050: HP LASERJET 4050 PRINT JOBS WILL NOT PRINT FROM TRAY 2

I have a HP Laserjet 4050 printer and it won't tank prnt 2.  It prints from the manual feed tray 1.  It does not recognize tray 2 printing, but it will let me know when the tiroir2 is missing.  No idea what this could be or how to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Toni

If you print a configuration page using Tray 1, then you can look and see what paper size and type it thinks are in tray 2.

You will see probably is one of these elements is bad and most likely it is misdetecting the size of the paper due to a failure of the Board of Directors that detects the position of the fingers on the side of the status bar.

I think you have probably found a message on the screen that says load paper in Tray 1 whenever you try to print from tray 2, if this is the case it should also allow you to hit the go button and print using any type of paper or the size it considers is in tray 2.

  • Office Pro 476dw - don't print from Tray 1

    Hello!

I recently bought a 476dw Office Pro, and it will print from Tray 1 when I select an envelope #10 or legal size paper.  I am trying to print labels with a format sheet letter Tray 1.  I chose precisely the paper as "Tray1" Source, but it will not draw labels and printing from tray 2.  Can you please adivse how I can direct the printer to Tray 1?

    Thank you!

It is a configuration problem simple set tray.  You must make sure that the sending application fits on the correct document settings work before it hits the printer.  Once the printer receives the job he will review the parameters type and format of the document as well as the tray configurations it has available.  At that point, he will decide to print on a platter or another or ask the user to perform an action so that it can continue.

Try to print a sample of work such as work from another application.  If the same problem happens then there is a mismatch of the status bar on the printer.  If the problem does not recur from a different application there is a configuration problem on the initial application, which must be found and corrected.

  • How to print to tray 2 on an HP Officejet Pro 8500 has a bonus?

I can understand photos not be printed on plain paper in tray 2 (sort of), but I can't print emails or web pages to tray 2 of either ePrint Airprint GOLD.

I have tray 2 as default and 1 locked drawer.

If I try to print it will try to print from Tray 1 (containing the envelopes). the 8500 realizes the error and cancels printing.

How can I print to tray 2?

    Thank you

    Hey wa1oui!

Unfortunately, ePrint or AirPrint support printing on tray 2 right now. If you print from an iPad/iPhone or other mobile device, you can use ePrint home & Biz application that will allow you to select a specific drawer.

    I hope this helps!

  • Fax printing from tray 2

I added my 8600 Pro Officejet tray 2. I have #10 envelopes in tray one and paper in tray 2. I can get it to print in all modes except the incoming faxes and he tries to print from Tray 1. I have the default to tray #2, I tray locked 1, in printing preference selections in the printer, I chose a tray 2, but this option is not available in the fax printing preferences. I tried to remove and reinstall tray and driver, I tried to download the latest driver from HP to no cure to my problem. Help, please!

    Hello ambulance,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

If you use something else than standard paper in tray 2, the default printer in Tray 1 for fax.  If you try to use the legal size in the second tray, this will also cause the issue.

Please remove the paper from Tray 1 just enough so that it is not recognized by sensors in the printer. This will test the printer to make sure it will default to try the 2.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.

any help appreciated and thank you

There the error messages on the computer or the printer?  This happens only with the photo?  No problem when printing text?

One thing I would check would be to open the printer and take a close look on the interior plastic parts.  If they appear coated with a thin layer of ink to spray, then rub strip coding as shown by clicking here.  Take into account instructions, you may damage the band of coding with mishandling.  Be nice :-)...

  • Home ePrint & Biz uses wrong tray when not the network printer

    Hello

I recently purchashed a 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer for my mother-in-law. While at home, on its network, we tested using the home & Biz application for android to send photos to the printer.  The app worked great and was able to use the tray photo 4 x 6 for the photos sent to it.  Unfortunately, when we were out of its WiFi all the images we sent used instead a regular sheet from the normal paper tray.  It's frustrating because the app allows you to select the paper tray, even when we are not on its network, but my selection is apparently ignored.  Send an attachment to a computer at the address of the printer eprint also don't have not selected the correct tray.

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere or is this a bug that I have to live with?  So, it defeats the purpose to buy this printer so that we can send photos of 1200 miles away.  Help, please.

    Calvin

Hey I've referenced a post that would explain your problem.  I hope this helps.

  • Epson WF-7520 does not print to tray 2 after El Capitan clean install?

I don't know what happened, but since I did a clean install of El Capitan, my WF-7520 Epson no longer works correctly. The ONLY way it prints on the 13 x 19 (tray 2) is when I remove it and place it in the top housing (slot 1). In addition, all my photo quality controls are now gone, so high quality prints are no longer possible. I tried to remove and reinstall the driver, but that has no effect.

For what it's worth, I print using Adobe Acrobat DC of more Creative cloud products. Anyone know what can be wrong?

    Rest the printing system...

Open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners and select the print tab.

Right click or control your printer on the left, then click on: reset printing system...

    Then try to print again.

If that does not help, download and install fresh drivers from the Epson website > http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?infoType=Downloads & oid = 183585

A new installation can sometimes corrupt the software/drivers and need a new facility.
