MacBook air 13 "2015 battery

My macbook is a 13 "2015 air and my question is,
It doesn't ruin my battery if I continue to take away it in and out of the charger.
For example in my school whenever someone walk in front of me instead of walking on the wire - they plug my charger while my macbook is still in the charger.
Which ruins the macbook battery?

Lithium-Ion batteries have no memory effect and it's perfectly OK to plug it into your computer when it is convenient; There is no need to wait for the battery to run out first. Similarly, there is no need to wait until the battery is fully charged before unplugging.

(There are two simple rules to follow: 1) when you get the message that the computer is subject to be able to put it to sleep as soon as possible. Running the battery up to 0% is not good for the battery. (2) do not leave the computer plugged in all the time. Although this is not a problem for you, make sure that at least one or two times a month, you use the computer on battery power.

Hi Please help me. My iPhone 6 retains what load noise when connected with my MacBook Air early 2015. It makes me crazy! I tried with several real Apple's USB cables, update to the latest iOS (phone and MacBook), updated the iTunes, clean the orifices, everything! I just got this MacBook on the Apple store. Please help me! Thanks in advance!

    Hi mikaelaridz,

I understand that you just bought a MacBook Air in an Apple store, and when you plug your iPhone 6 in it, you are to hear a sound indicating that the connection does not work.  If your MacBook Air has a port USB - C, you must use the USB - C for Lightning cable to connect your iPhone.

Using the USB - C port and adapters on your MacBook (retina, 12 inch, early 2015) and later

    Port USB - C

USB - C is an industry standard generation that allows to load and transfer of video data - while a simple connector. Your MacBook comes with a USB - C port:

    Through this port, you can:

    • Charge your MacBook.
    • Power output.
    • Transfer data between your MacBook and other devices.
    • Connect the video output such as HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort.
    • Connect to other technologies, such as Ethernet.

Port USB - C on your MacBook supports data transfer speeds to up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1).

USB - C for Lightning cable

Apple USB-C for Lightning cable allows you to connect any device equipped with a connector of lightning with your MacBook. It provides data transfer and power of lighting fixtures. For example, you can use this cable to connect your MacBook to these devices:

    • iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
    • Magic Mouse 2
    • Magic keyboard
    • The Magic Trackpad 2

You can also load these devices without using your MacBook by connecting to the C - USB to the lightning cable and plug the cable of the USB - C 29W power adapter.

USB - C for Lightning cable supports data transfer at up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1).

This cable requires no power to operate. However, devices that you plug into it could draw power from your MacBook, you should unplug it when you're not using it.

If this isn't the issue, then I suggest taking your new MacBook Air and iPhone at the Apple Storewhere you bought it.  A genius can inspect your computer for you, there is no hardware problems and staff can help you set up.  Here's how Contact Apple and make an appointment.

    Take care

  • 2012 MacBook Air 13 "Service battery

I bought a 2012 refurbished MacBook Air in 2013 and through the last 2 years I have gone through approximately 484 cycles of battery. (I am a student and use the computer every day for school work). Last week, he started the "Service battery" alert. I never get more than 4 hours if I don't have Chrome open. I use Premiere Pro a lot on battery, would that be a problem?

MacBook Air 13 "8 GB RAM 120 GB SSD

    Thank you, Jakob.

The popup of the Service battery indicates that your battery needs replacement. You can always use the battery being, however it will not last as long as expected by Apple. You will need to make an appointment-genius bar and take the MacBook Air to your store local Apple to get the battery replaced if you do not want to do, but unless the MacBook is still under warranty, it will cost $129 + tax, as shown below. I hope this helps!

  • The water has been spilled on the keyboard of a Macbook Air 13 (2015).

After the failure of the own keyboard Macbook has been left to dry in a warm room for twenty hours. When I got the Macbook, the normal screen appeared however, the touch pad and the keyboard didn't work. After some time a statement appeared on the screen to put the Macbook in OS recovery mode. It is in OS recovery mode now and there is a picture on the screen of a laptop touchpad. The touchpad keyboard and in situ do not react. Can someone tell what I can do to get back the use of the Macbook?

Bring the MBA on an Apple store or an Apple authorized service provider.  Your MBA has a hardware problem, which must be evaluated.  Repair costs can be significant, since MBAs and water do not mix.

    Ciao.

Hello guys, I am very new in the Mac world, and I currently have a MacBook Air 11 "2015 model. I'm a long-time Windows and short-term Linux user. I find that the transition between Linux and Mac, however, is pretty easy. I just wanted to know if anyone of you had an idea of what monitor maximum resolution of the Macbook Air 2015 with integrated graphics (Intel HD 6000) HD can push up? Thank you!

I use my Macbook Air to 2015 and wants to connect the hard drive of my Macbook Air of 2012 as an external drive. Both drives work on OSx Yosemite.

I want hot swap capabilities and a USB or Thunderbolt 3.0 connection which doubles as the power source. Can anyone recommend a compatible, affordable and easy to use external HARD drive enclosure?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  • Scratches on the MacBook Air keyboard?

The screen of my MacBook Air 13 "2015 has little scratches on the touch keyboard when closed. You can't see them when the laptop is turned on, but when it is off you can. The MacBook is still under warranty, Apple will replace the screen for free?

Apple can only answer that question authoritatively.  Introduce the MBA for an assessment.

  • How to make the partition of Seagate backup so the Macbook Air?

I just bought a Macbook Air 13' 2015, I have a seagate external hard drive backup 1 TB plus all my files in it, coming from windows PC and I switch to Mac, when I try to make a partition in disk utility, I can't select an option for partition, its greyed, but I can read/write because of the Paragon for Mac OS driver I want just a partition on my mac with Time Machine backup, but I can't use my external drive for Time Machine it will erase everything on my external hard drive. Thank you

Unless you need to keep the Windows files you put on the disk and copied to the computer, then I suggest that you simply re - prepare the drive for use on Mac. Because the drive has been formatted on a Windows system you cannot partition via the Mac. But you can re-prep. disk using the partition scheme GUID for the two partitions and format of one of them for MS-DOS or ExFAT using Windows. But as I said earlier, if you do not need to use Windows and want to use for the backup on the Mac, then he prep exclusively for Mac. Use Time Machine backup requires a volume that is at least 2 or 3 times the capacity of the computer HARD drive.

    Drive partition and format

    1. Open utility disk from the Applications\utilitaires folder.
    2. After disk utility charges select the drive (entrance Out-bumpy with of the mfgr.) ID and size) in the list to one side.
    3. Click on the Partition or delete tab in the toolbar utility of disc that is activated. If both are enabled, then choose clear.
    4. Adjustable circular diagram to set the number of partitions if you want more than one. Otherwise leave the default of one.
    5. In the Group dropdown set the GUID partition scheme. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
    6. Click on the apply button and wait for the fact button to activate.
    7. Quit disk utility.

  • Is excessive heating while playing game macbook air damage it?

I installed Windows 10 on my macbook air (Early 2015). When I started playing big games like GTA on it, it will heat up very fast and fan starts at full speed. So it will be harmful to my macbook play in?

First, there is the thermal shutdown provisions that will stop the MBA before it can commit Hari Kari due to excessive heat.

If you have two sets of Macs, play games all the time one and the other just using 'normal', the Group of Mac game on the average of the tasks will fail sooner than the other.  This is because heat is the enemy of electronics.  How much is an open question.

If you want to play games do but try to do it in a cool and if possible, use a block of cooling or fan. But if the games are a top priority, get a PC designed for games.  Mac is not good gaming platforms.

  • MacBook Air freezes randomly

    Hi all

I had a problem with my Macbook Air early 2015 since nearly a month. I freeze random OS experience (I'm under OS X El Capitan 10.11.4): the cursor moves and the keyboard is unresponsive, so I can't do anything at all. The only thing I can do to "unlock", it requires the laptop to restart (by turning manually him off and then back on). This problem occurs more or less one or two times a week and I didn't notice a particular task or request that I am running that may cause the gel. Usually, it happens while I'm surfing the web with Safari, but not all the time.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to solve the problem?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

  • MacBook Air cover / hinge issues

My MacBook Air early 2015 cover/screen seems to be loose, it's because of my mossiso rubberized hard case or my mac damaged, also when I touch the black plastic that controls the screen, it seems that there is some movement. is my loose hinge / damaged. I can't go to the apple store because the closest is 3-4 hours away, I want to know it's because of the case or if the hinge is damaged?

I'm not sure that anyone would be able to diagnose that without really seeing. If you don't have an Apple Store nearby (I have not) there may be an Apple authorized Service provider, that is. You can use the following to locate: https://locate.apple.com/country
