• ASDM issues after upgrading to JAVA 8 on Macbook

  Hi all, I have a MacBook running and just put 10.10.2 upgraded to version Java 8 40. You'd know ASDM began to 'freeze' after that I connect to the device and ASDM is attempt to analyze the configuration. What happened when I hit an ASA 5545 9.3.1 running code (ASDM 7.3.1) but it does NOT occur when I type an ASA5520 9.1.5 older code running (ASDM 7.3.1). Odd. Anyone else seeing this? Sure enough when I drop Java to 7 build 75, AMPS works well again when I connect on these devices.

  As a test, I improved ASDM to 7.3.3 and moved to the top of the size of the heap by the release notes, but that did nothing to solve this problem. ASDM freezes again as his attempt to analyze the configuration (about 2 to 4 seconds after I login).

  Under/Users, there is a directory with your name. There is a whole/private directories, which are usually used for temporary work space. Is there a specific reason/question looking for files/directories?

• MacBook Pro display problem

  Hello members of the community.

  As of recently, I have noticed some glitches when feeding on my MacBook or awakened from his sleep.

  The colors are distorted, usually with pink, green, or yellow blobs. Blobs cannot entirely replace the colors, they appear to be contained in a element would normally be. For example. the menu bar will be partially pink and white, but pink does not leave the menu bar in this area, and the Office has green lines on it.

I had also certain powers serious and problems of performance, such that my MagSafe LED would not illuminate when plugged on rare occasions, fan could turn unnecessarily, graphics performance were SUPER slow, and the health of my battery was running out quickly. I actually ran a report on the system at 2 different times and my quality of full load is depleting of 1.2% per charge cycle, which is very worrying. I went from 6281 mAh mAh 6138 maximum capacity after two cycles of load. I'm tracking closely it because at this rate, my battery will survive only at load cycles about 150 instead of the 1000 expected, gives me the idea that this could very well be a bad battery. The computer is also warm to the touch while you sleep, not connected to the power supply. I NAP active but even taking into account should not be hotter my iPhone did the same thing.

  I have reset the SMC, and it solved a couple of problems. The charger works fine now and my performance improved considerably (which made me feel better, either it is a high-performance laptop, a 11-inch MacBook Air should not he surpass), and battery life has improved. I feel even if it uses a lot of power in his sleep. Maybe I need to turn off the NAP and see if that makes a difference. The graphic bug still persists however, and I don't have enough time to see if the max battery is depleting again.

  In regards to the bug, is there something that can be done? Basically, I want to assure you that I took all appropriate measures or if someone else has this problem to see if it can be software related instead of my computer.

  I have the entry level MacBook Pro with the retina, last generation.

  After reviewing your post, it seems that you are having problems with the screen showing strange things on it. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. I recommend you read this article, as reset NVRAM would be to reset your screen resolution settings that should help.

  I spoke with apple for a day support trying to get an installation of the os of the sierra. My end of 2011 macbook is running a 1TBSSD and 16 GB memory as upgrade. We pretty much lived each reset with support teams and used time machine to go back to a stable OS of El Capitan. (9hrs to do) Auto downloaded again Macbook Sierra (why? I didn't ask for it) and his having the same issues in suspended about 90% of black bar under logo and when press the keyboard or the track has a flash of the screen showing the kernel panic and goes in a loop to do the same thing indefinitely until I have power and the downgrade.

• When I deleted a picture of my MacBook, why it also remove the external hard drive?

  So I tried to help my wife to free up space on his MacBook Pro by putting all of his photos on an external hard drive. After iPhoto slide the hard disk and wait 40 minutes so that he could transfer, I wanted to make sure it worked. I ejected the disk and then plugged in. Of course, all iphotos were still there. Just to be sure, I deleted one file in the folder on the computer's iphoto. I went to my shock and horror, the external hard drive, that it has been deleted it too! How is that possible? I've been scouring the Internet trying to retrieve this file with no luck. It was not in the trash. There is a tab "recently deleted". Time machine was not turned on. iCloud shows nothing. I can't download any software, because the computer is completely filled. How is it possible that by deleting this folder on the computer he did also leave the hard drive? AND it has not been saved in the trash? I have used PC, and whenever I need something in return, he was ALWAYS in the trash. And if I deleted something on the computer with an external hard drive connected, it would NEVER be removed from the external hard drive at the same time.   I have a MacBook white late 2009 (MacBook 6,1) who not uprgrade or even clean install OS x 10.10, 10.11 or MacOS10.12

  I tried several hard disks, but I have always the same questions... restarting MB by itself or sometimes is stuck in the start-up phase.

  MB seems to only be able to work in Mavericks (installed clean), but after a few days, it will not start and I have to use a backup Time Machine to make it work again (or an other clean istall...)

  This is the last report I managed to copy and paste (I think I was under sierra pre installed on a external drive... do not know, I tried so many things...)

  Probably not a Macbook at all, there is a shortage of good accounting software for Macs. A portable powerful Windows would be better and (b) cheaper.

  Sierra runs very slowly in my MacBook Pro. All applications take a long time to open.

  A few simple things first:

  -clear the NVRAM (now restart until you hear the chime a couple of times, and then release the command-option-P-R keys)

  -reset the SMC

  -start in Safe Mode and start again normally

  If this doesn't produce any improvement, download and run Etrecheck and post the report here.

  Most often, the problem is a software conflict caused by programs that were not updated to run in the current version, or by the user who installed an antivirus or "cleaners" that cause all sorts of problems.
