• MacBook Pro doesn't start after recent iTunes update

  I use the latest model of MacBook Pro with the Retina display, bought in August in an Apple Store. After download and install latest iTunes update that App Store the computer asked me to restart to complete the procedure. After it restarted the Apple logo appeared and also the br of progress indicating the time remaining. When it finished now it is stuck on the apple logo screen and will not continue.

    I have a macbook pro 2012 environment, and it has a weird start command. There the carillon, and then the apple logo, but after about 2 seconds, it goes to the login page.     My MacBook Pro was on the way "sleep" for a week. I opened the cover to awake, but did not work, then it plugged into the power supply and switched on, but just hearing the sound of the chimes and nothing happene, the screen was completely black and nothing. Just the light caps lock could be on, the fan and the LED sleep was ON when the lid is closed.

    AT first tried to start in safe mode by turning on and after its carillon, pushing immediately and hold the SHIFT key, but again nothing.

    Then tried to reset the NVRAM, start-up and after the sound of the chime immediately press on and hold down the 'command-option-P-R', but even once, nothing happened.

    Then tried to reset the SMC, by left keys "SHIFT-control-option" and light at the same time, but unfortunately still just sound chime and nothing happened.

    Unfortunately, my last backup to time machine came back 2 months ago and I entered a large number of data during this period.

    Can someone help me solve the problem and start my Mac.

    Connect to a monitor.  If there is an image, your MBP screen or the connection therewith may be defective.

    MacBook Pro (2011) running iOS later.

    Screen went blue, at which time mac was turned off.  Try to be able to save and mac does not start.

    Tried to boot using utilities, but can not access this screen.  (the screen is also all the "pixelated".)

    Looking for ideas before making a trip to the Apple store.

    1 disconnect all devices (Ethernet, USB, external hard drives, mouse)

  • Today my Macbook Pro could not start.  He showed me the ban or no symbol.  I was able to access disk utility and run first aid on the SM0256G of SSD Apple media successfully.  Cannot start in normal/safe mode.  Should I delete/install so I can?

    MacBook Pro 13 '' end 2015.  256 GB SSD drive. El Capitan last version 10.11.4. I turned on the Macbook Pro and it could not start.  The progress bar with the Apple Logo would be present but would end not showing the symbol «»  I tried to boot mode safe - no go.  I have not reset PRAM help.  I was able to access disk utility and run successfully the first aid. No help. I was unable to restore two separate backup.  The utility show me backups however when I would go to the next screen and no backup is available.  Disk utility displays the SSD.  Can I erase the disc and download OS X install?  Thank you.

    At this point, there is no need to delete. A new copy of Mac OS X can be installed directly over the old copy. This process replaces the components of Mac OS X on a file by file basis and adds missing ones, there will be no major throwing away what anyone, unless there is a power failure.

    You have already run disk first aid.

    Now use mode of recovery (command + R to start) to "Re-install Mac OS X. It should install the latest revision of the main version that you ran last.

    I use my MacBook Pro almost daily for several months now, and all of a sudden I stopped and start it up to a kernel panic (so it seems) who never lets me start normally, safe mode is a nothing helps. Recovery mode does not start, and when I try to use an external drive usb in the selection of drive it will appear. I don't know what to do more and I'm stuck.     My MacBook pro is mid 2014 13 "version. I guess it started to happen after updating to 10.11.4. I tried to reinstall and the problem is still there. Test hardware receives no error. I figured it could be a heating problem. But after, it seems that this happens even at ordinary temperatures. This screenshot is just taken immediately after a crash.

    

    I fixed it by clearing the NVRAM.

    Here's how to reset your PRAM:

    1. Turn your machine off. Yes, while down, no sleep, or a disconnection.
    2. Press the power button and press command-option-p-r. ...
    3. Hold these keys down until your Mac what it charges again and you here the startup chime.
    4. Release the keys and let your Mac restarts normally.

    If no success, using the original installation CD and see if you can start the MBP.

    If you can, after the language selection, the display should have a top menu bar.  Click on UTILITIES and select and run disk utility > first aid.  If the disk cannot be repaired, a new will be necessary.

    If you cannot start with the installation diskettes, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    as the title, my Macbook pro retina (bought in 2014) is transformed and then turn off 5 minutes later while in his case today, I only noticed after reviewing the event log and seeing a start and stop.  How can this happen? the Mac was definitely off not asleep and I did not put a timer.

    Hello all, big problem, Apple says that it is not material (although I'm not sure), but if not, then there must be some sort of conflict between my installed software and the new model of MacBook Pro mid-2015. Help!

    The problem here is that I've been running EXACTLY the same configuration on a MacBook Pro 2012 since, well, 2012, without any problem. But when I received the new machine in December, I migrated everything on (using Migration Assistant), I have installed a Bootcamp partition, migrated my old installation of Windows on the use of WinClone, and everything was fine for about 2 weeks. This is the same process as I did when I upgraded the machine from 2009 to 2012 also machine well.

    Suddenly one day, starting from Windows to Mac OS, I watched the progress bar filling, then stop, then the screen went black. No sound, nothing. I hit the power button and the same sequence. Progress bar about 3/4 of way filled, on the screen then black, then the unit turns off.

    I called Apple, went to two Apple stores, and we all tried to run disk utility to fix the problem. But every time I find myself with a message "Invalid node structure. The volume could not be completely checked. File system check exit code 8. Updated scores of start-up of the volume as required. File system check or repair a failure. Operation failed... "The topic on this bed,"first aid process has failed, if possible, back up the data on this volume. »

    The idea of first re - install the operating system didn't work... apparently there was a problem with the volume at this point so he would not restore. The next option was to completely erase the partition and then restore the backup. That worked, but then the entire process repeated two weeks later.

    I have been through this process 7 ~ 8 times since December! It seems to happen every two weeks and no one can tell me why it's happening on this new machine, but I have NOT had the problem on the old machine running the same configuration.

    
    

    Apple said it might have something to do with execution Tuxera NTFS on Mac (if I can share documents across side Windows). I have not removed... Tuxera two restorations there is no change.

    I also use Paragon HFS + for Windows, because most of my material is actually stored on the Mac side. I have NOT yet removed this (current running Windows 10) because I have NO idea why or how something running on the Windows side could affect the operating system volume on the side of Mac... especially when everything I do is opening and closing things as Word documents.

    I have log files and screenshots (I write below a few... but there are many others). Apple says "it is not a hardware problem" so they won't have to help understand if it's just software. I beg the community to help!

    This occurs when the drive Boot CAN get the initial Blob of the software off the drive with the boot loader, but when he tried to mount the disk with the file system, it can not be mounted.
