By running software on the Windows side, I realized that I don't know how to locate the temporary workspace on this machine. In other words, on a Windows PC, there are files named 'Local Settings' and 'Temp' in which is placed a temporary storage.

  Under/Users, there is a directory with your name. There is a whole/private directories, which are usually used for temporary work space. Is there a specific reason/question looking for files/directories?

• MacBook Pro display problem

  Hello members of the community.

  As of recently, I have noticed some glitches when feeding on my MacBook or awakened from his sleep.

  The colors are distorted, usually with pink, green, or yellow blobs. Blobs cannot entirely replace the colors, they appear to be contained in a element would normally be. For example. the menu bar will be partially pink and white, but pink does not leave the menu bar in this area, and the Office has green lines on it.

  I tried to take a screenshot, but the problem resolves in about 20 seconds, but it's a recurring problem.

  It happens when I wake up, connection or not. I had also certain powers serious and problems of performance, such that my MagSafe LED would not illuminate when plugged on rare occasions, fan could turn unnecessarily, graphics performance were SUPER slow, and the health of my battery was running out quickly. I actually ran a report on the system at 2 different times and my quality of full load is depleting of 1.2% per charge cycle, which is very worrying. I went from 6281 mAh mAh 6138 maximum capacity after two cycles of load. I'm tracking closely it because at this rate, my battery will survive only at load cycles about 150 instead of the 1000 expected, gives me the idea that this could very well be a bad battery. The computer is also warm to the touch while you sleep, not connected to the power supply. I NAP active but even taking into account should not be hotter my iPhone did the same thing.

  I have reset the SMC, and it solved a couple of problems. The charger works fine now and my performance improved considerably (which made me feel better, either it is a high-performance laptop, a 11-inch MacBook Air should not he surpass), and battery life has improved. I feel even if it uses a lot of power in his sleep. Maybe I need to turn off the NAP and see if that makes a difference. The graphic bug still persists however, and I don't have enough time to see if the max battery is depleting again.

  In regards to the bug, is there something that can be done? Basically, I want to assure you that I took all appropriate measures or if someone else has this problem to see if it can be software related instead of my computer.

  I have the entry level MacBook Pro with the retina, last generation.

  After reviewing your post, it seems that you are having problems with the screen showing strange things on it. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. I recommend you read this article, as reset NVRAM would be to reset your screen resolution settings that should help.

• MacBook Pro late 2011 Sierra OS Kernal Panic-setting questions updated

  I spoke with apple for a day support trying to get an installation of the os of the sierra. My end of 2011 macbook is running a 1TBSSD and 16 GB memory as upgrade. We pretty much lived each reset with support teams and used time machine to go back to a stable OS of El Capitan. (9hrs to do) Auto downloaded again Macbook Sierra (why? I didn't ask for it) and his having the same issues in suspended about 90% of black bar under logo and when press the keyboard or the track has a flash of the screen showing the kernel panic and goes in a loop to do the same thing indefinitely until I have power and the downgrade.

• When I deleted a picture of my MacBook, why it also remove the external hard drive?

  So I tried to help my wife to free up space on his MacBook Pro by putting all of his photos on an external hard drive. After iPhoto slide the hard disk and wait 40 minutes so that he could transfer, I wanted to make sure it worked. I ejected the disk and then plugged in. Of course, all iphotos were still there. Just to be sure, I deleted one file in the folder on the computer's iphoto. I went to my shock and horror, the external hard drive, that it has been deleted it too! How is that possible? I've been scouring the Internet trying to retrieve this file with no luck. It was not in the trash. There is a tab "recently deleted". Time machine was not turned on. iCloud shows nothing. I can't download any software, because the computer is completely filled. How is it possible that by deleting this folder on the computer he did also leave the hard drive? AND it has not been saved in the trash? I have used PC, and whenever I need something in return, he was ALWAYS in the trash. And if I deleted something on the computer with an external hard drive connected, it would NEVER be removed from the external hard drive at the same time. • MacBook 6.1 Kernel Panic?

  Hello everyone,

  I have a MacBook white late 2009 (MacBook 6,1) who not uprgrade or even clean install OS x 10.10, 10.11 or MacOS10.12

  I tried several hard disks, but I have always the same questions... restarting MB by itself or sometimes is stuck in the start-up phase.

  MB seems to only be able to work in Mavericks (installed clean), but after a few days, it will not start and I have to use a backup Time Machine to make it work again (or an other clean istall...)

  This is the last report I managed to copy and paste (I think I was under sierra pre installed on a external drive... do not know, I tried so many things...)

• Best Macbook for Uni/accounting?

  Hi, I'm hoping to go to University the year next to study accounting and finance. Yesterday I bought the new gray Space 12 '' Macbook Online (without testing in-store), however I am now questioning if it was the right decision, as almost all the critics have said that the 13 "Macbook Pro than the Macbook at all levels (in addition to being more heavy/less portable).   Probably not a Macbook at all, there is a shortage of good accounting software for Macs. A portable powerful Windows would be better and (b) cheaper.

  If I understand correctly, you have trouble getting the Apple Watch to unlock your MacBook Air. It seems that you have already done some troubleshooting and you have perhaps already been through this material, but just in case I recommend to read this article. • Sierra and MacBook Pro

  Sierra runs very slowly in my MacBook Pro. All applications take a long time to open.

  A few simple things first:

  -clear the NVRAM (now restart until you hear the chime a couple of times, and then release the command-option-P-R keys)

  -reset the SMC

  -start in Safe Mode and start again normally

  If this doesn't produce any improvement, download and run Etrecheck and post the report here.

  Most often, the problem is a software conflict caused by programs that were not updated to run in the current version, or by the user who installed an antivirus or "cleaners" that cause all sorts of problems.

  The report will let us know what software is running and should give a clue as to what is the cause of the slowness.

  I have a MacBook (retina, 12 inches, beginning 2016) and a generation of Apple TV 3, model A1427. All the latest news of the BONES are in place on both devices. Online help says that Airplay and mirroring must work between these devices. And I already was able to reflect my MacBook to the Apple TV device, but now mirroring does not work. I can connect from the MacBook to the Apple TV via Airplay and I can get Audio to work. But once again, mirroring does not work.

  The only suggestion of support I've seen who could be useful, if I installed other software recently that also supports mirrored. I have not the case.

  Most of the software are pretty standard. Pages, KeyNote, and MS Office.

  Others moved the software of WordQ and Dragon Dictate. Nor have any video / mirroring capability.

  Hello. You say the latest OS updates. Did this happen after update to Sierra? There seems to be problems with AirPlay and Sierra. You've restarted the compiter since the update?

• MacBook Pro not mounting external hard drive

  My Macbook Pro (early 2015, running Mac OS Sierra) is not able to mount my [new] external hard drive (Seagate Backup Slim). It shows up in disk utility, but the volume seems shady. Nothing happens by pressing the command mount or performing first aid. Kindly help me out here.
