MacBookPro10, 2 stops every 1-3 weeks kernel panics

Hey people,

I get panics of the kernel since the summer on my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2013, i7 3 GHz, 8 GB RAM) with Mac OS X 10.10.5. Bought in may 2013.

I can't know what event triggered the process, maybe the upgrade of 10.9 to 10.10.

Kernel panics appear at normal work - I'm a web developer, so opening/closing/saving files to the Sublime text 3 and refreshing chrome is the most common tasks. In addition some applications such as Mail, MS-Office, other browsers are sometimes open. There is no special event - in any case, I just typed oder clicked around and suddenly the screen of panic.

Maybe you can understand something since the last reports of crash? I couldn't find the last three of them in/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports. As they would break the height of this page, I will just link to plain text:

http://Daniel-Betz.de/Apple/Crash_1.txt

http://Daniel-Betz.de/Apple/Crash_2.txt

http://Daniel-Betz.de/Apple/Crash_3.txt

Thanks for your help!

Your MBP falls in this replacement program:

Make an Apple store and tested it.  Put the panic reports with you.

Ciao.

    Good afternoon

Thank you for your response. It was the right solution, but I missed something in your response. I had to start several times to download / update. Throw/delete (or the procedure of the description) files don't get past not like you described, but I tried something myself and it worked finally.

But I have to ask: If this problem continues, of course, that a workaround is available, why is this a problem in the software persists, exist?

Maybe you can't give answers, but I'm just wondering, well thanks for your help.

  • report of... kernel panic please help! (That occur every day)

My laptop started to reboot almost every day for a few weeks. I don't know if it's an upgrade or a hardware problem.  Here's the report I get when it restarts:

Any ideas from this what is the cause of the problem and suggestions on how I can fix without going to the Apple Store?

There is no report of posted kernel panic.  Use these instructions:

    Ciao.

  • Stopping the kernel panic

It is a computer that I use MF for light work, Photoshop, Outlook, and Safari. At about 02:00 every day, the screen goes black and I get a full stop. After that, I have to hold the power button for 20-30 seconds, I hear some mechanical parts moving inside, then I finally get the tone of Apple and it starts up. Sometimes, this will happen again in 10 minutes, other times it is nice.

I recently picked up at the Apple Store for this same problem and they ended up replacing the logic board. The problem seemed fixed for the first days, but returned with a vengeance.

SMC has be reset. NVRAM. I am at a loss...

    My configuration:

This kind of panic can be caused by a bug in OS X. I suggest that you upgrade to the current version ("El Capitan") in the App Store and see if the panic stop.

Before the upgrade, check that all of your most important third-party software are up-to-date and compatible with current versions of old OS X. Very from Microsoft and Adobe products, for example, may not be compatible. The Web site is the best source for this information.

Incompatible third-party software causes almost all problems with OS X updates.

Finally, in back up all the dataand be sure you know how to restore if you don't like the results of the upgrade.

If you have a with a sufficient capacity storage device, you can copy the boot volume in disk utility, then run him and to upgrade. So, if you don't like the results, all you have to do is change the setting in the startup disk preferences pane and restart.

Sorry, I should have told you how to install it.

    • Click on the orange button Firefox > Modules > Extensions > click the settings next to the bar (screwdriver and key intercroisées) search, click install the module file them find the file that you downloaded and it open it. It should bring up a box that says install now. Do so if she asks you to restart Firefox, do.
  • 4 kernel panic issues in 1 week. 2 in the last hour :'(

    Hello

I don't know why this is happening, but last week I had 2 kernel panic issues, and today, in the last hour I got 2 in a row, the second about five minutes later, after the first (just running google chrome).

I have maybe changed hardware, software. And I do not remember if the last software update was before or after these problems.

My MacBook Pro is a retina 13 inches, early 2015, running on El Capitan 10.11.4 (15E65).

    What should I do?

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • Satellite A200-1FL: cooler starts and stops every minute only with battery

    Hello.

I just bought an A200-1FL and I test these days. I noticed that the cooler starts and stops every minute about when I use it only with the battery.

Disconnected from the power, even if I do not have too much, just browse the Internet. Is this normal?

If I work with trendy food, the cooler makes no noise.

    Thank you.

    David

    Hello David

Do you also have it tested with different profiles in power options (balanced, power saver, high performance)?

  • Satellite A100-784 stops every 2-3 hours

My laptop stops every 2-3 hours.
I checked the battery and power cord - it was normally.

It seems that some device has been disabled. What should I do?

What do you mean by low shout very often?
Do you see a blue screen error message or just sometimes happens without any error message?

Description looks you a bit like an overheating problem. What do you think about this?

Usually, if the temperature is too high, that the laptop stops down to prevent material damage!
This could happen if the cooling modules n t runs correctly or if the air is moving!

One question; have you tried to reinstall the OS using the recovery CD?

    Hello

    (1) what version of Windows are you using?
    (2) remember to make changes to the computer before the question?
    (3) what browser do you use for Internet Radio?
    (4) what do you exactly mean by the loss of the webradio?
    (5) on which site you want to play the radio?
    (6) using WIndows Media Player to listen to Radio Online?

  • My computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode

Original title: Windows Update does not work on security with networking mode

Hi, if my computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode. So I go on security with networking mode and I went to problem and solutions and all this stuff, and the Web site that came to help me solve the blue screen was told to go to "All programs" and then go into "Windows Update". but the problem with that is does not work! My cursor will give me the circle of loading bit for a few seconds and that's it! And don't tell me to go to because every time startup repair I have try that he asks me "User" and I tried everything and nothing will work! :/ And apparently, it's a driver problem, not a hardware problem, because I already removed and put in the back of my equipment. Then Yes.

    Thanks for your help! :)

Windows Update does not [Safe] mode with network

Yes, that's correct. You can not run manually check updates in Mode safe mode with networking since the necessary Services are not running.

  • Why continue those class Scheduler start and stop every half hour approximately

Why continue those class Scheduler start and stop every half hour approximately. I am fortunate to have a sound event for the event program open and this event is triggered by Multimedia Class Scheduler, it seems, every half hour.
    Is this normal?
    Can I disable it?

    James

    Hello

Service Multimedia Class Scheduler (MMCSS) allows multimedia applications to ensure that time-sensitive processing receives priority access to the CPU resources. This service allows multimedia applications to use CPU as possible without denying CPU for low-priority applications as well.

This service is required only for the fact that the Windows Audio service lists this as a dependency. Without the Windows Audio service, no audio signal will play on the system. This service is started when the system starts, but shortly after (~ 8 minutes), it stops.

This is a Notification which will start with all programs that use Windows Audio. For an example if you open Windows Media Player, then multimedia class scheduler also starts because it uses the windows audio.

  • iMac 5K Kernel Panic after sleeping - sorry to ask but who could really do with help

I really like my iMac 5K, but only in recent weeks when I turn it on it says it has restarted after a problem and as I click for him to report to Apple.

I tried to read the report of kernel panic, but I feel completely out of my depth. I count myself as being quite well in these things, but I have no idea where to start and to be honest, that I find myself just feeling angry every time it happens. It seems to only happen when I let him sleep through the night, kind of a night time entry!

Below is the latest report of crash for diagnostic logs. Please could someone make some sense of it.

    I thank very you much.

    Anna

  • MacBook pro having kernel panics

My macbook pro mid-2012 kernel panic and stops just randomly lately. It is not super frequent, but I can usually be expected every two weeks - sometimes more sometimes less. I haven't noticed a correlation to what I do on the computer at the time - and sometimes surfing the internet, word processing, etc. Recently, I had open Spotify and was looking at playlists.

This is the most recent report of error. Is there something here that could point me in the direction of the source of this problem? Thank you.

I'm guessing here.  You have the firewall?  If so, turn the market:

    https://discussions.Apple.com/thread/2757238?TSTART=0

Another possibility may be the third party RAM.  Try the Mac with the original of the RAM.

    Ciao.

I have therefore a late 2011 MacBook Pro 17-inch. Last week I upgraded my memory, existing poles installed by the manufacturer, being in need of replacement. I got the new sticks of Crucial, if that means anything. (I can't afford the offered on the Apple site so sticks of memory + $700)

I installed the memory a few days ago and due to lack of time only ran the basic test material before restarting. Everything worked well. My computer ran smoothly, could read and write files that seem to be still valid, can use most of the memory installed without problems, etc.. But having just come off a memory that was starting to go wrong I am absolutely terrified of errors memory, so as soon as I had the chance to stop (last night) I ran the extended hardware test. Which showed everything as being very good, but as soon as I rebooted, well...

Basically as soon as Chrome has re-opened my screen started to take me on a tour of mystery magic of tearing of screen, blue screens, black screens, white screens, gray screen, normal screen but with lines through it, the normal screen, but with the left side, moved to the right side, etc. Finally, a panic the kernel itself has indicated, and I restarted. The first few times, pretty much as soon as the started applications open automatically the same thing would happen (although usually without the kernel panic, instead I relied just on the power button to hard - reboot or whatever that this is called).

Initially, I assumed it was the logic board for some reason, that those who always fail in Mbps (in 12 years, what I went through at least six of them), but as far as I can tell, panic the kernel are a common result of bad memory and memory was the only thing that I've changed recently. Follow these vague advice on apple's site and/or the vague memories of recent computer problems, I rebooted in safe mode, where it don't even have to login screen before again panicking kernel, then were (which worked - for a short period - then split screen effect listed above is made permanent and required another reboot). Finally, I thought I'd test material again in basic mode and extended; the two tests have indicated no error. After the reboot it seemed was going back to normal, and I was able to do a backup via time machine, with success, but... No. No return to normal actually. (I had two kernel panics while trying to write this message, good thing he auto-enregistre!)

Now, I'm the first to admit that I'm pretty much the worst possible person to use my hands to make things. I have space issues, am pretty ADHD, my hands tremble a lot trying to do difficult things and I'm basically useless. It is therefore quite possible I have bad memory and it just took some time for the computer to notice. Also, I don't own a screwdriver in everything that is incredibly tiny size Apple their screws from the laptop casing (the memory installed at a friend's place, they are now out of the country)

So I really don't know what would be the best course of action (apart from the purchase of one of these screwdrivers, I'll do once the stores are open tomorrow):

-Suppose memory is badly installed rather than faulty and try to install it better or change the positions of the two sticks, or something else

-take the sticks of memory are faulty and, as soon as possible, get out them, place the original (also not very good, but at least the kernel doesn't have a panic every five minutes) back, request a replacement or refund of Crucial

-the problem would be in one of the memory sticks? If so, how do you know that one?

-the problem be something else? If so, how do I tell me what?

-my computer is dying? If Yes, where can I get a replacement end 2011 17-inch MBP? >_>

I enclose two incident reports, which first appeared after I restarted after the second test of material (corresponding to the panic in safe mode), with the second of panic that occurred while I was writing this message.

(Also may be interesting to note that the temperature of my machine was 65 - 70º C after the reboot, which is abnormally high, but the setting fans at 5500 RPM earned him up to normal temperatures of rest of 50ºish)

There is no way to edit posts? Hmm. [Edit: I can modify this message.] But not the op.]

Another bit potentially important information. Before installing new memory, processes kernel_task used up to 300-350 MB of real memory at startup (more over time as additional threads have been added or other).

At the present time, immediately after start-up, it uses 700-900 MB of real memory and the number climbing much faster. I don't know if it is just a function of having available physical memory and that is why the kernel treats are allowed to grow to fill the available space. I don't think so.

  • MacBook Pro 8.2 - almost hourly kernel panic leading to restarts

I was faced with frequent kernel panics in the last month or so and took my MBP to an Apple authorized service provider, which says that the problem is with my logic board but couldn't provide me with a diagnostic report of my machine that said the Board was at fault. I had my logic board replaced the year last of the expanded program from Apple. Although this was, I myself a new HARD drive and 16 GB of RAM (Corsair) as well. Everything worked fine until a few months ago when my MBP will re-start once at boot. In recent weeks, the problem has become chronic and it restarts so random (no special application or steps seems to trigger)

I do not trust the FSAA here in India, especially as I think they are trying to make quick money sell me a ~ $700 repair. Can someone look through the reports of panic and guide me on what seems to be the problem?

Here's the latest report of crash-

It looks like you posted the whole kernel panic report.  Check to see if there is more information and post it.

Install the original RAM and see if the panic stop.
