  Adobe Creative cloud DOES NOT work with MacOS Sierra 10.12. The person of Adobe support that I spoke refused to acknowledge that even a preview/beta version exists and it says that it will be fully compatible once MacOS Sierra is released. Pretty arrogant attitude.

  So with this arrogance and rudeness, I expect when 10.12 came out on 20 September, I can update the same day CC for I can use it in fact once again. Somehow, I doubt that will be the case, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

  

• Contacts/Mac OS x Server Push Notifications and macOS strange behavior Sierra Server

  I have Sierra macOS Server 5.2 and the same "user01" account configured in Contacts.app on two computers of macOS Sierra 10.12 and a device unique 10.0.2 iOS (iPad). My expectation is that change on a device (for example to add a new contact) is in a few seconds on all other devices that are configured with the same account. However, this is not always true.

  Invocation of manual synchronization (quit Contacts.app, start it again) still works correctly. However the changes on a device (for example to add a new contact) are not pushed to all devices. Usually, the change is pushed and data are synchronized immediately only to the last device configured with the account. Other devices configured with the same account are not automatically updated.

  There are certificates valid push (push works on all devices, it's just seem to depend on which is configured earlier and who later).

  The same applies to the Calendar.app calendar events using the Protocol CalDAV, push calendar notifications and server for macOS.

  In the newspaper of apsd, on Mac OS processes, can even be considered that push message arrived at the apsd process, he was in the process of Contacts. The difference is, however, that AddressBookSourceSync process is not upload all the changes from the calendar server and macOS Contacts.   I have a Macbook Pro retina mid 2012 with a processor clocked at 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1024 MB graphics, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM and a SM768E of APPLE SSD flash hard drive. I ran disk utility, and it says everything is fine. I tried different approaches, several times, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to install the new macOS Sierra. I even wiped my entire computer and started from scratch, by installing a clean OS X 11 (El Capitan) and then try to install the Sierra, but still it does not work. This makes me think that maybe that's a problem with my App Store account? But given that I was connected, I'm not sure that it could be. Or maybe it's hardware related? I do not know. Even the SR Advisor. Apple I was talking with the phone was perplexed.

• OfficeJet 4620: Cannot sweep to macOS 10.12 Sierra with Officejet 4620

  Since the update to Mac OS 10.12 Sierra, I am unable to scan using my Officejet 4620.

  I used to use the HP scanning software which worked well but I found out it only works with OS X 10.11 and earlier versions.

  The HP Easy Scan Soft says that it works with Mac OS or OS X 10.9 and later so I installed this.

  However, when the application is open there is a yellow explanation mark on the image of the scanner. The scanner is selected under the scanner drop-down.

  The printer works well, is that the scanning feature that does not work. I tried to reboot my laptop and printer and you have reinstalled all the drivers and application, but it still does not connect.

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi Phil,
  The HP scanning application is indeed incompatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
  Remove the scanning HP by moving to the trash, then empty the trash, also remove all currently installed HP Easy Scan instances.
  
  Then install the latest version below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

  If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:
  http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/OSX/applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip
  
  Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.
  Click on the Bank on the menu bar, click Reload Page, click all update if an update is available.

  If you can meet with other issues, the printer is connected via USB or wireless?

  I'm trying to be software and connect my Photosmart 7520 to my new Imac running OS Sierra 10.12) but I don't get a messagesaying no software or drivers are available.  Is this fair?  Do I have to get a new printer? Quite disappointed if I do like it worked fine with my old imac

• CS4 can work under macOS 10.12 (Sierra)?

  I am currently using CS4 on an iMac (mid-2010) running 10.8.5 and everything works fine.

  I'm about to upgrade to Mac OS 10.12 (Sierra) and need to know if CS4 will run.

  Doubtful. Make sure that you have a full backup because the chances of this working properly are very thin.

  In short, if it's not broken, don't fix.

  brief update: discovered that - after several days - spotlight indexing is still active. So strongly assume that this oddity Mail 10.0 is down to the indices not being ready to be read.

• Photos edited in Photos App is missing after upgrade to MacOS Sierra

  After updating to Mac OS Sierra, all my versions published of my photos is missing.

  Updated to:

  MacOS (10.12) Sierra

  App photos (Version 2.0 (445.1.15))

  It is said:

  -Update of El Capitan Sierra.

  -When the update, I started App Photos and update the library (260 GB).

  -A took the Photos App in the meantime round.

  -After all the thumbnails update was missing, but the pictures would be accessible by clicking on them.

  -Photos App must rebuild now all the thumbnails, but the photos I edited is still missing and even can not be seen by clicking on it (like the non-edited).

  -The missing files are a .jpeg and raw (.nef) from Nikon files.

  

  Have you tried:

  -Existing photo editing works

  -Edit photos (previous edition) missing persons, sometimes shows the missing picture, but it is not always a new tile.

  Any suggestions of how to make the pictures to update modified pictures?

  Did you turn on your mac to remove duplicates or similar cleaning applications?  Some cleaning tools are not safe to use.

  How do you change the photo in question? She has been published with adjustments to Photos or have you used an extension of photo editing?

  I just updated my MacBook Pro (mid-2015) for macOS 10.12 "Sierra", and now when I try to start the Simulator BB10, it "just hangs" «forever» (at least as long as I'm patient enough to let stand at least 10 minutes, I'll try letting it sit UAB tonight) with the 'play' button displayed in the window of the program VMWare Fusion 6.0.6.  By clicking on the 'play' button does nothing.  When I try to quit VMWare Fusion, it again me, the Simulator is 'busy' and leaves me not even exit normally.  I managed to force it to leave it in the Apple system menu.

  Before that I pay to update my VMWare Fusion to the latest version, can anyone confirm if it (and the rest of the Momentics development system) will continue to operate under macOS 'Sierra '?

  Well, good and less good news.

  Good news, I installed the trial version of VMWare Fusion 8.5.0 on my macOS Sierra system 10.12 and the BB10 Simulator (at least, the latest version 10.3.2.281) works and my application can run on it!

  Less good news, it runs * very * slow.

  No 1200% slow as the virtualiation equipment turned off, but still slower than it was before.

  Just in case someone comes in the future on this issue.

  MacOS (10.12) Sierra seems to have broken the SUBSCRIPTION of the calendar between platforms feature. I cannot subscribe to the calendars from Apple of my wife, nor can she sign up for mine. Furthermore, I do agree is more a calendar from Apple using the Outlook of Microsoft 365 calendar nor can I subscribe to a calendar from Apple to Google Calendar online help. Here are the functions I used frequently week last under OSX El Capitan to update my students in my history class the AP world on the events of the class on multiple platforms.   I'm not having problems with my calendar. Subscribe to a calendar and I also synchronized Exchange calendar.

  Test in a new user quickly will tell you if the problem is system-wide or if your user folder that contains the problem.

  You can use the guest user or create a new user to test. Make sure you have your Apple ID and Exchange passwords.

  CREATE A NEW USER

  Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.

  Switch to the new user by logging incoming/outgoing or use the fast user switching.

  Sign in with your Apple ID. Only check calendar for this test.

  By default only the applications Apple will be in the dock in the new user. Go to Applications to open other apps, that you can test.

  You still see the issue?

  If not, then the problem is in your user folder.
