• iMessage with iOS 10 and MacOS Sierra

  Before upgrading to iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, iMessages sent from my iPhone seems also in the application iMessages on my MacBook Pro and my iPad 2 Air - and the same for all three devices.

  It worked very well in my opinion.  When I'm at my laptop, it is very convenient type of responses on the keyboard.

  However, after the upgrades, this connection has stopped.  Each unit is not to see the iMessages of others, although all three devices are signed on the same iCloud account.

  What is a reduction in function?  Or am I missing something?  I tried settings and preferences.

  Sign of iMessages (the Apple ID used) on all devices

  Drag the item in Messages app from green to white (close the application) on the iPhone.

  Quit the application on other devices.

  On the iPhone, open the application again.

  Wait for the number to check.

  While what happens opened the app on the Mac and the sign of return on account of iMessage.

  Once the iPhone number checked send an iMessages specifically to your Apple ID (enter it manually).

  If it works, add the Apple ID in Send and Receive on the iPhone version.

  Accept the UPS op on the Mac.

  (repeat for other signature devices in)

  Set the item "send as SMS.

  Check the iPhone joins the same LAN in the Mac WiFi settings is on

  Reset the transmission of text on the iPhone which will cause the Code number must appear on the Mac to put on the iPhone.

  Repeat for other devices.

  Basically, try a reset.

• Downgrade macOS Sierra El Capitan question

  Hi all

  earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

  After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.

  I contacted the developers, and they said does not update the plugins and they told me to go back to El Capitan.

  I decided to listen to them and try to downgrade my OS.

  I restarted the Mac and held down Cmd - R or something like that that took me to the disk utility screen.

  Then I went down to dinner, and when I returned 30 minutes later my Mac had entered the sleep mode for some reason any.

  I woke up the Mac and 40 seconds later the power went out for 5-10 minutes.

  After the blackout, I restarted my Mac that took me to a black screen with a flashing question mark folder.

  I followed some tutorials online (including how to enter get - and the recovery of internet mode), but after a while even restoration of the internet shows me the flashing question mark folder.

  I don't know what to do.

  And no - unfortunately I don't have a Time Machine backup.

  But I have a backup with all my most important files.

  Is it possible to force the Mac to reset itself or something like that?

• Alternative text is more work for safari forms

  I upgraded to MacOs Sierra yesterday, and substituting Text does not work as it did previously. Specifically, it no longer works on most forms web safari. Is this a bug? I tried to disable and re-enable it in the preferences system, as well as within safari itself (Edition-> substitutions) but it still does not work. Am I missing something?

  It's a piece much missed feature and not limited to you, mjg_nyc. I have the same problem on a MacBook Pro retina and iMac. The two people that I just talked to AppleCare present the same problem too. I don't know if it's the Apple software or a new web protocol that prevents it being used, but there must be a way to make it work again.

  Please can anyone who reads this comment to apple via their online form - only with sufficient numbers will be do anything about it.

• macOS Sierra download stops with the error to 2.15 GB every time

  I'm currently under OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and I try to download and install macOS Sierra.  I tried several times and whenever the download stops at 2.15 GB with the message macOS that Sierra could not download use the purchases page to try again.  When I go to the shopping page I see a category for other purchases that lists the Sierra macOS.  However, the button has the text in red next to it indicating that an error has occurred and the button has no text.  By clicking the button does nothing.  I restart and remove partial downloading of applications to try again.  See screenshot below.

  I tried using wired and wireless network card and get the same result be it.  This could be the cause of this problem?

  Same thing happens for me only that I had as much as 4.22 GB.  I've been downloading since yesterday night, market.  It started quickly with about 30-40 minutes for the download, then it begins to rise.  He stood as far as 17 to 18 hours.  Now it gives me this error failed.  It seems to be widespread, however.

• 2013 iMac affected by Kernel Panic on macOS Sierra

  I have a 27-inch iMac end 2013 w / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M. I just upgraded to El Capitan in macOS Sierra 10.12.0 10.11.6. I now get a panic the kernel on once every 15 minutes no real rhyme or reason with regard to activities that I do. Newspapers of panic are lower, but do not provide much info. No single kext / driver is cited because it looks like a general kernel page fault.

  I have submitted it to Apple through Crash Reporter and I'll temporarily down El Capitan. I don't know if some 3 rd party software is responsible for, but suggest that there is no trace. The last activity according to the track in question com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothHIDKeyboard.

  As a precaution, we always recommend that you have backups to make sure that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup using Time Machine and an external hard drive. Use this article to help make a backup of your Mac: use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.

  Then, in accordance with article help: printer and scanner for Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and the Mavericks macOS software, the HP Envy 4500 e-all-in-one is supported for printing and scanning. The drivers must be installed, but if not, if it please go to the App Store and check the updates tab to see if there are updates for HP. If there is, please install.

• macOS Sierra stuck on the Time Machine backup

  Its been 2 weeks now since I updated to macOS Sierra and my Time Machine backup is always stuck on "preparing backup" and I tried different disc backup on another partition but still no luck.

  Im a user of long date Mac but displays the first time that I was pretty happy with everything that on my macbook pro for the past years... until I installed Sierra a day ago.

  Nothing but hurt. It is a common problem in the Sierra. One of the reasons, you must take off the coast about obtaining the latest software. It can be a bit much. If I remember correctly, they do not have the issues of EL CAP battery until le.3 ou.4 updated. (this is the solution that allowed the 8-9) I would recommend just downgrading to El Cap, as I can't imagine that the loss in the life of the battery is useful for siri.   Just my 2 cents.

• My hp LaserJet 1022nw fails to analyze the download of the printer driver after that macOS Sierra upgraded.
