macOS Sierra does not support some MIDI controllers

Because I downloaded the new macOS sierra, my midi keyboard no longer works. The midi controller is no longer recognized by Logic Pro X.

Thanks in advance!

But it is recognized by the computer, Garageband sees the keyboard?

Go to utilities/Audio-MIDI settings...

With the keyboard plugged in, look on the MIDI tab, everything is listed.

After update for Sierra have you disconnected the keyboard, stop and restart the computer, allow to settle and then reconnect the keyboard.

  • portable computer does not support. Yet battery monitor says "plugged in, not support.» What are some options?

my laptop is connected, and yet power monitor says "plugged in, does not support." What are some solutions?

    Hi Joseph,.

Something similar just happened to me. The first time they fixed it, they have replaced the adapter and the problem is solved. 5 months later it started to happen again and this time they replaced the battery, the motherboard and the milling table (thanks to heaven, it is still under warranty). Fortunately, thanks to the new adapters, battery started to load and the experience does not seem to damage it in any way (but you should keep your eyes on it anyway just in case).

How they were able to say on my laptop - a Dell E1705 (other than just experience and common sense) was to go into the BIOS (starts, it should be a brief Flash on the screen telling you how to enter the BIOS setup or menu of the BIOS (usually F2) and check the battery information. He showed that the power adapter 'unidentified' instead "90W" list which should be when it is working properly and that the battery was not complete and not charging well plugged. They changed the motherboard and the roll the second time because it could also cause the adapter is not being recognized by the battery (or battery not not recognize the adapter).

The beep is caused by power and its configured settings to warn you of a low and critical battery condition. In a normal situation, the computer will work right next to the power adapter and does not the battery (it is a way to help maintain the battery life is to run periodically and refill if we leave normally plugged in most of the time). If you remove the batttery entirely, the laptop will power? If this isn't the case, it is certainly at least the adapter or the motherboard. Eventually the battery will get if low, that he's going to sleep or hibernation, or the system stops (you should shut down normally before him to cold shutdown like that). If If, then I expect the tone to go further because it will detect is no longer a low battery charge, because there is no battery - but then you'll want to be sure to use either a battery backup UPS, or at least a surge protector otherwise already in place because if you lose the laptop battery will crash hard and this is not good for her.

I'm using 32 bit Vista Business SP2 and in Control Panel / sounds / Sounds there is an option for low battery alert. The default to have this. In this case, you can turn off to avoid the beep. In addition, you can go into Control Panel / Power Options, click the plan settings and click on battery. It will provide you with levels of low battery and critical battery and you provide measures to be taken in such a case. If you are unable to operate the system without battery and it is so weak that the alerts began, you probably fell to 11-5% remaining. You can adjust actions to nothing for bass and stop to criticism that 5% is about as close as you want to get to the point where you can hang. Then, you just need to wait until it is repaired and the appropriate parts are replaced.

Even if you have still some life in it, it is best to contact the manufacturer (they the some have the right parts) or a computer of reputable workshop to get a good diagnosis (perhaps by phone at first), a determination of what must be fixed, the applicable fees, schedule, if it is still under any kind of warranty , and what needs to be done in which order of repair. They can find the adapter is OK and it is just the battery (or vice-versa or two or more). But that's essentially where you need start.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Windows Media player does not support playback of some video files.

    Windows Media

On my Windows media does not support to play some video files that I download on the Internet why?

You can try the following tool to determine if an MPEG-2 video decoder (also called a DVD decoder) is installed on your system and it is compatible or not.
Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility

  • Error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file' when try to play wav or midi files.

Original title: WMP "can't play wav or midi.

Using WMP 11 on Windows XP SP3.

Windows Media Player has somehow forgotten how to play wav or midi files. Doubleclicking either of these file types give an error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file. " There is a button 'Close' and 'Web Help' which still informs me, "you met the C00D1199 error message... ". ». Following the advice given nothing less than useful.

I can easily play these files with RealPlayer or VLC so I don't think it's a driver problem, and it wasn't a corruption right after installing the other players. WMP seems to work OK when playing music or AVI. And there is no harm to hear a sound (wav or midi) in Windows for various system events. Have already uninstalled/reinstalled WMP without result.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have since determeined the problem comes from an updated codec package I installed a few weeks ago. These codecs were from Shark007 which I believe is a Microsoft MVP. Use the codecs from this site for a number of years without any problems so I did not initially suspect it was the source of the problem. I uninstalled the codec pack and installed K-light package and everything seems to be Ok now. Now, I'll be in contact with the members of this forum.

  • Photo Gallery does not open some files (pictures) that he used. He said: it is not "supported."

Photo Gallery does not open some files that it used.  He said that its not "supported"?  In addition, I can't open some of the files that are in that I think an older version of word.  How can I fix these problems?  There is no window that opens for updates when opening Photo Gallery.

Well, you don't say what files it used to open then try this. Control Panel, programs, by default, set your default progaams, Windows Photo Gallery, set this program as default.

  • Airport utility does not support my Airport - options to change the channel?

I have an older Airport - extreme, I think, and the utility does not support.  I'm out of luck to change channel?  Time Warner said their modem did not support my newest Airport (? it's TWC) and now the internet keeps smoking at least once or twice a day.

I suggest that you keep it simple.

Your airport automatically analyze and choose the best channel to use when it lights up. So, if you have not done for some time, powering to the airport, wait a few seconds and then put it to the top.

Even if you could change the channel... How would you know which channel to choose?

Time Warner said that their modem did not support my most recent airport

Time Warner will only support for a product they have received for you.  But this does not mean that a router from Apple will not work with their service. I've used Apple products for over 10 years with Time Warner.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook (laptop) plugged, G6 does not support.

    Hello

I bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6 just a couple of months, and I had this problem since the beginning. I looked at some other forums and it seems that many people have had the same problem with the laptop is plugged in, but does not support.

This problem is really frustrating, as the laptop is connected to the power source and in the laptop, but half the time it is not yet registered as being connected. The battery is discharged. Once or twice the battery completely exhausted (while it's plugged in) and then was charged 100% next time, it was shot on(???!!!).

Could you tell me if there is some sort of programming or software failure, or if it could be a hardware failure. I have run the checker battery several times and each time he found no problems with it. As the laptop sometimes acknowledges that it is indeed connected (but does not load) personally, I think that it is not a problem with the AC adapter.

    PLEASE HELP ME!

    Thank you.

  • 32BV502B does not support MPEG-4 in Greece?

    Hi all,

I bought a Toshiba model 32BV502B when I was in London.
I red some reviews before buying it and I saw that this model is compatible with MPEG 4.

While in London he used to play all local television stations. I send this TV to the Greece and it does not support local TV stations. There is a screen 'video format only is not supported"message or something like that.

I downloaded the latest version of the firmware on the TV but still nothing changes.

Do you know if there is another way to solve this problem.
I would avoid a codec mpeg4 with additional devices, remote controls etc.

    Thank you

    > I red some reviews before buying it and I saw that this model is compatible with MPEG 4.

I found the specs of the TV:
    http://www.Toshiba.co.UK/television/LCD/BV/32-bv502-high-definition-LCD-TV/

The TV supports a resolution of 1366 x 768 and its equipped with an analog and DVB - T tuner
The TV standards supported are: PAL BG/I/DK, SECAM BG/DK/L BG of NTSC 4.43

I put t know exactly what you mean by mpeg-4 support, but always is there that you can use the internal tuner: DVB - T and analog to receive TV signals. If you are not able to use the built-in tuner, you will need to connect an external set-top box to the TV.

By the way: you must always reset the settings of the TV after a firmware update and should choose the right country settings.

The blue ray disc displayed on the computer without any problem when it is disconnected from the TV.

    Do any one help please?

    Hello

I read in some forums on this error message.
For the most part this message if one of the devices does not support HDCP.
It seems somehow the HDCP key has been lost between 2 devices (monitor and laptop).

On the other hand, the CD/DVD drive can be assigned to another region of the country.
If you want to play DVDs created for other regions, then this error code could appear generally too.

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm
