macOS Sierra presents a serious problem that must be dealt with quickly


A couple of days, I installed Mac OS Sierra on my MacBook Air (bought in 2012). Since I installed the new OS, my MacBook is not stop appropriately such that she used with all earlier versions. Shortly after I chose the stop, the screen goes gray in a few seconds, but it's not stop completely for 10-15 minutes, that is really annoying and could cause damage to the system. I searched the Internet and found a few users who have the same problem after the installation of the new operating system. By some of the suggestions, I have disabled FileVault and also reset the keychain. Nothing has done so far.

just to let you know that I have experienced this problem when I installed the beta version about a month ago. I pointed out to the agent of service through online chat, but at that time, I was told that the support could not do much, given that the software has not been published officially. The gentleman told me that he would share my concern / feedback with the development of the team so that they could take corrective action. Not sure what happened after that. I still have the same problem with the final version.

I hope that it will be fixed, tested and released soon.

Stop your Mac and restart in 'Safe Mode '. To learn how to do it please read: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up.

More time to start safe mode then allow it to do so. Then, sign in as usual.

Then choose stop... in the menu  (Apple).

Any change?

    Cannot get any application that must be opened with .exe files.  This includes all the games. Outlook Express, Microsoft Word and Excel.  Whenever I try to open one of these applications, the computer comes back with a list of available applications and said to ' choose the program the that you want to use to open this file.  None of the work programmes. - Restore default associations of files easily - Doug Knox .lnk and .exe association fixes MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - Don ' t Panic!

    I experienced a similar problem, well that related to the creation or manipulate PDF files.

    As long as those who are are on a local/internal volume, a NFS or SMB, all the seams to be fine, only when it comes to volumes mounted to AFP, the application works with PDF * AND * Finder remain blocked. Sometimes with force quit the application and restart the Finder seems to do the trick, otherwise only a reboot solves this problem (again, the application needs to get with force quit and Finder should be raised, otherwise Mac OS start again).

    If you would be inclined to believe in the conspiracy, maybe it's this way Apple to 'persuade' abandon ship-AFP and SMB-migrate users?


  • FTP with DW CS5 problems that do not occur with a client FTP or MX

    On a mac OS 10.6.4 with DW CS5 to you connect to an existing FTP site.  It connects fine, but then all I get is a .txt file with a note indicating that FTP cannot be used when the Frontpage extensions are enabled. I checked the status of my Web server (to 1 & 1) and they are not active. So, I tried with a FTP client like cyberduck and all files are there. Similarly, I used an older version of DW (think it's vintage MX 2002) and all files appear on the server-side (I just can't download the site due to the incompatibility of version so DW rejects him). Anyone know what could go wrong here? As far as I know the site has been created by DWMX (think it was in 2004). Thank you

  • Problem starting Windows 8 (associated with quick start + Intel Smart Response Technology SSD cache)

    I have a problem with the fast start-up of Windows 8. When I shut down my PC everything works fine, but when I turn on the PC, Windows will load until a certain point and then suddenly start screen appears again. The second departure is always successful.

    I discovered, when I turn off the Quick start, the computer starts without error on the first attempt. It goes the same for when I disable Intel Smart Response Technology (SSD cache). There are no problems when I use Hibernate mode.

    Recently I did a BIOS update, so I don't know if there is a setting in the BIOS that is may cause this error?

    I've recently updated to macOS Sierra 10.12, and since then I am faced with the question to enter the password twice. So first I enter the correct password, 90% of the time it won't accept it, and the screen shakes as if I entered the wrong password, but I am 100% sure its correct password. So I have to enter the password again and he accepts it.

    My FileVault is turned off. I have only one account administrator, one I use and has a guest.

    I tried to create another admin account, downgrade my account running towards standard Mac and restart and then promoting admin again, then by restarting, but it did not work.

    Hello, I know that macOS Sierra had a big problem with PDF / scanning due to an update to the pdf engine. Here we have Dell printers / scanners Dell C3765dnf Color MFP. We usually scan with Preview app (import of the device). But with macOS Sierra, the scanner scans all pages but the first page is available after the scanning process. Maybe can someone help?

  • How do I re download beta MacOS Sierra?

    I signed up for the beta and registered program my Mac and installed MacOS Sierra beta but had problems and had to reinstall a backup of my old system of El Capitan. I want to download and re-install MacOS Sierra and I registered on the beta Apple web site, but provided redemption code indicates it is already redeemed. I can't resign upward or opt out of the beta program. I'm stuck. Can someone help me?

  • WRT54GS2... SERIOUS problems...

    I had the misfortune to buy this router recently, to replace my WRT54GL dead.  It did not work properly on the first day.

    Essentially it retains its connection and works steadily, until I have the audacity to attempt to use the internet, how it promptly crashes requiring a reboot.  I don't know if it's overheating or what, but he warms up, as I believe it should be, so I put it in reverse for the ill-conceived event is actually in contact with air instead of office.  This helped very slightly to decrease the frequency of unavoidable accidents, which leads me to believe that it is probably an overheating problem.  We have 2 computers, one of which is apparently 2 too for this router 4 ports.

    I've updated the latest firmware, no dice.

    I bought this router is because I was led to believe that Linksys actually makes decent products.  My WRT54GL was amazing.  He had some points of physical damage on the shell, one of the antenna was missing, and it worked solidly until our move into our new House because he killed for good.  I would have just had to buy a new one, but, foolishly, I didn't and ended up with this Turkey instead.

    I lost the receipt for the router, otherwise I return it for a refund.   I have no choice, but to work with this or buy a new one, is there anyone out there who has overcome problems that apparently come standard with this router?

    Well, as I said already, I took steps to make sure that this isn't overheating to the best of my ability (out of place a fan of box on the thing), and I updated the firmware.

    I helped myself to this question, I managed to convince the Bank to resume the router and give me a store credit.  Not going not to bother with linksys, once again, I would use first the internet connection sharing.

    What is the brand and model of the computer?

    The function keys are controlled by the manufacturer of the system. The changes must be made in the BIOS (Basic Input Output System). I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the system to better support.

    Note: changes to the BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • HP 8610: problem printing of PDF files with iMac

    I have a HP 8610 all-in-One powered by an iMac.

    I have a problem with printing of PDF files.

    When I print, the page moves approximately 1.5 inches down and doesnot print page as seen on the screen.

    I checked with Apple and you s not a problem with the computer.  They say that there must be a parameter that must be corrected with the printer.

    If you encounter the problem with PDF files and only on the Mac, the best solution may be to download and run a different PDF Viewer that allows you to open the file and print instead. Adobe, Foxit, and Nitro are a few free PDF viewers with Mac support.

    As a precaution, we always recommend that you have backups to make sure that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup using Time Machine and an external hard drive. Use this article to help make a backup of your Mac: use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.

    Then, in accordance with article help: printer and scanner for Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and the Mavericks macOS software, the HP Envy 4500 e-all-in-one is supported for printing and scanning. The drivers must be installed, but if not, if it please go to the App Store and check the updates tab to see if there are updates for HP. If there is, please install.

  • My hp LaserJet 1022nw fails to analyze the download of the printer driver after that macOS Sierra upgraded.

    After switching to macOS Sierra, my printer (hp LaserJet 1022nw) WiFi does not print work orders, even if the printer seems to be to receive the order of work and how to complete it in the work queue.  Connect the printer to my MacBook Pro via USB, I am able to print without problem.  Other computers on the network continue to be able to print wireless.  When I connect via USB and try to scan a updated driver, download cause analysis a software fault message.  Any ideas on how I could proceed to continue to connect and use my printer wireless with the new OS?  The 1022nw is detectable as a printer available (wi - fi) and can normally be added to the list of printers, but doesn't have the print queue even thought that they seem to have been dealt with, and then disappear from the queue.

    Open System Preferences > Printers and Scanners and select the print tab.

    Then the right or control click on the printer on the left then click: reset the printing system
