magenta streaks

I just installed new toner cartridges. Why am I magenta steaks about 1 1/2 inch apart across a third of my impression? I calibrated and clean the printer according to the instructions online several times in an attempt to remedy this problem.  No magenta stripes when printing in black and white do occur, however.

  • Have a HP Officejet Pro 8000 printer. Had magenta streaks.

Checked print head magenta/cyan by removing and replace it. Now, after each print job, I get an alignment page printing. How can I stop this?

As a general rule, if the printer prints the alignment page frequently, then the printer is having a problem of electrical contact with the print heads.  Try to remove the printheads and clean the electrical contacts, make sure that the print heads are firmly installed in the printer.

Also, check the steps described in the document, found here, to troubleshoot when a printer prints an alignment page frequently.  I hope this helps.

  • Streaks on CM1312 print

My printer CM1312nfi has developed a problem by which it prints red streaks on the left side of the document.

The four toner cartridges all indicate they are (relatively) complete, but when I take off and look at them closely, magenta streaks on the left side of the large greenish roll shows.

The magenta cartridge is not good, or can do something with it?

  • Color LaserJet 4600: Clear Magenta Toner streaks vertical

Hi have a Color LaserJet 4600 printer that produces very fine vertical streaks of light on the magenta.  What is a toner problem?  Is there a warranty on the cartridge?  Thanks for any help!

Most likely the toner cartridge is bad, isn't it a color.  HP Toner come with a warranty, howerver, they must be returned to the seller with whom you bought for replacement.

  • Streaks of ink HP9800 on color copies

  • HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw: I've got streaks printing on laserjet 200.

All of a sudden, I have red streaks, printing on the right side of my documents. I tried using the cleaning page and it doesn't seem to help. I also have small black dots in various parts of the document which keep appearing on my documents. Cleaning that does not either.

It seems to be a residue of red on the sponge roll just before the paper out of the printer. How can we clean this roller or must it be replaced to correct? I used my vacuumn to try to clean it up, but it doesn't do any good.

    Need help.

    Hey @AlaskaMariner,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have a problem of magenta print quality printing of your color HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw of the printer. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Thanks for the troubleshooting steps you have already tried before reaching out for support, including.

On this model of printer there no zones in the product that you can clean it manually. The only method supported this printer paper path cleaning and area of the cartridge is running the cleaning page. You may need to run the cleaning a few times page to fix this.

Sometimes red streaks can be caused by a low toner cartridge. When toner is low, it can gather in some areas inside the cartridge and create a "streak". I can have you hold the cartridge by the sides and shake it gently from left to right to redistribute the toner. Once the cartridge has been shaken, reinstall the cartridge. Once your cartridge is re-installed, please test print to see if the problem of dragging is still happening.

If the problem persists you can please click here for the steps of quality supported by your printer. "Once the document of support opens please run through the steps to"check toner cartridge status"", "make the diagnosis of additional print quality" and "inspect the drum unit for damage".

If the quality issue persists you may need to try a new HP authentic to verify whether this problem is caused by a magenta cartridge faulty cartridge or the printer.

The black dots that you see are often caused by a dirty paper path roller or fuser on your printer number. As mentioned previously, the only way to solve a dirty paper path would be to run several pages of cleaning. A defective fuser unit would lead to a replacement of the entire unit.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • Help! 8500 a print report has white horizontal lines through the blocks of Magenta and Orange.

I SOLVED MY PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE HELP I RECEIVED BELOW.  MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS.  BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN FOR THE SOLUTION!

Please see the focus 2 below: I read all the posts here and of course I cleaned the printhead of many many times.  It is almost the worst lines now.  The printer cartridges are all full, and I also turned the printer on and off the power, etc... . Thus only line ACEs and calibtrated a bunch of times.

Is there anything else I can / try?  Is there something else to clean inside and the dust that creates streaks?     Doesn't seem wise to call and pay for this service.

None of my impressions with the graphics seem to be good all of a sudden and he is hurt and slow down my business – do I have to buy another printer?

    Help!

Is the a page of print head cleaning blocks magenta and red lines? This means somehow magenta ink is not put on paper on these lines. Because this is not the whole of the region, it's not magenta ink came out. Must be on the printhead nozzles is obstructed or somehow blocked. It is display in the fine lines on the quality report page you have posted. Broke the thin vertical line shows the nozzles at these locations are not belittling inks.

If the clean print head does not resolve the problem, you may need to replace the print head.

The 8500 has 2 print heads, one for the black and magenta/cyan. This page show you more about clean/replace the printheads on 8500 a: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01615896

In this page, there is a photo showing the printhead with the wording: "nozzles - do not clean", it is because that manually clean nozzles could easily damage the print head and make things worse. But if anything the problem and replace the print head, you can try to clean the area of the nozzle with a fluffy, wet with warm water. But when a printhead issue, when the "clean printhead" functioin does not help, I strongly recommend to replace the print head.

  • My C8180 does not print the magenta if shades I print directly from my computer

My C8180 does not print the magenta if shades I print directly from my computer.

I did a test once my pictures came out with greenish and bluish colors. I saved an image I created and that was a lot of red, pink, purple and magenta on a flash drive. Then I inserted the drive flash directly in the front of the printer and the image printed with all the vibrant colors that it should print.

I took the same exact image and saved on the hard drive of my computer. Printing through the computer, the colors are muted, streaked and red, pink, magenta sine.

The problem is not with the printer heads or connectors... it must somehow be attached to the HP program or drivers. Now the question is, how can it be fixed? If I uninstall the HP printing software, if I install it again, won't the same problems with the colors appear again?

Well, I'll point you to a video on deleting locked files that may be easier to understand than my trying to explain.

Even if its 2010, the rules still apply.

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=kiwbvwXx-ja

Brian of Britec explains the process to remove the stubborn locked files with these two programs listed below. It doesn't matter if the locked files were a virus or not. You can stop and replay the video as much as you want, easy peasy.

Download and install Process Explorer from Microsoft Sysinternals.

    Download and install Malwarebytes Fileassassin

    That should do well.

Let me know how it turns out.

  • Do not print Officejet 6700 Premium: Magenta, yellow and new cartridges, others do it.

Replaced all four "setup" in new ink cartridges, they were recognized, show "full ink" on the Panel, but only cyan and black printed, yellow and magenta only. Test print on printer directly report page: same result, cyan and black are OK, yellow and magenta will not print. Any help? Bought these original cartridges again, 933XL.

Thanks for the link/document showing how to solve my problem. I had already done most of the steps proposed but remained the problem of horizontal white streaks in magenta during Diagnostics.

I called HP support, this time to connect to a branch in the United States,-(not supported by the 'HP' I had initially called with foreigners, answering the line who tried to get me to buy a service contract).

HP will send a replacement magenta cartridge and I'll see if that solved the problem. Otherwise, I was told my printer is still within the warranty and will be replaced by another which has been refurbished.

That will be fine. However, it is always frustrating to pay $42.00 for the new original HP ink cartridges, then half their levels making cleaning head printer and diagnostics on an old printer for 2 months of use.

BTW: to all those who want a good HP assistance number: 1-800-474-6836 or 1-650-857-1501

  • I get annoying number of magenta in the left corner of dialogues Thunderbird after update to 38.2. I need to get rid of him.

Question says it all. Not sure why it is there. It appears on every new window/dialog that I create from Thunderbird and mask sometimes menu items/items in the dialog box. I can't download a screenshot cause it freezes just when I try.

Your comment made me go into config editor and search for the accel

There are a few points where acceleration is always set to 'True' even if I had the box unchecked. I put the following to "False".

    layers. Acceleration.Disabled
    layers. Acceleration.Draw - fps
    compatible layers. Acceleration.force

And it made the magenta boxes disappear. Thanks for your post, it has certainly helped!

  • The streaks 'Broken' and lacking in price fixing

I had a very good week (I rediscovered the joy of running) and was thinking about getting my goal 'Move' from 620 to 630, when earlier mistakenly said watch I broke my "Streak to move longer", and I also did not help 'Perfect Week (any activity)' or 'Perfect Week (Move).

This time I dead it rights - said the 'weekly summary' on the watch, I exceeded my goal 'Move', says 7 times, the 'Active energy' for each day from 4/25 to 5/1 that I had more than 620 calories, I received the 'Perfect Week (fiscal year)' and 'Perfect Week (furnished).

If I go to the Genius Bar with all of this evidence that there is a bug in the watch, people at the Genius Bar will be able to correct the data on my watch? And here's a picture where it says I have really reached my goal 'Move' daily last week.

The following steps can lead to missing achievements being credited:

    • Close open applications on your iPhone: click twice on the Home button, and then drag upward on each preview of the app.
    • Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first:
    • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off.
    • To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

If the results are not credited immediately after you follow these steps, wait until the next day to see if they are credited to the place then.

  • Dell Streak says is not compatible, but the supported devices list says it's.

The Dell Streak 5 (AT & T) is running Android 2.2 and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon (QSD 8250) which is supposedly Arm7. It is listed in the list of supported devices. However, when I go to the game store, it says that my device is not compatible with firefox mobile. Anyone know why would he lie to me?

He should fix it momentarily. The 5 "Dell Streak has been accidentally blocked, but now was not blocked. It may take several minutes for the store update. Sorry for the inconvenience!

  • HP Deskjet Pro 8600: Vertical streaks on black background copy only

My printer has black vertical stripes on copies. Color copies are very good, black print is fine. Streaks be copies of black ink. I changed the ink cartridge, but it did not help.

    Hi @HPCustomer6,

    I'm rb011,

@Drakster is missing for a few days. I want to continue to help you with the question of the copy.

I see that you mentioned have the e-all-in-one printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and the vertical black lines only happen when you make black copies. It is almost that the scan bulb could not calibrate correctly.

To make sure that the scan bulb is calibrated correctly, remove all documents loaded on the scanner glass, and make sure that all covers and doors are closed prior to a reset of the power on the printer.

Let the printer back to its state of rest before opening the lid to put a paper on the glass.

If this does not help and you have followed the support document vertical stripes, lines or streaks in the Copies, faxes or Scans , there is probably a problem with the bulb scanner and speaking with the Tech Support HP would be the next step to find a solution to this problem.

  • Designjet HP T2300: T2300 no magenta

Magenta fades gradually in printing. After reset and aligning the printheads magenta appear for one or two runs then fades. Same thing happens when copying and printing.

I tried 2 new printheads without result. New inks as well.

Magenta appears on the impressions of calibration and internal test print.

    Hello

Try to replace the print head and ink cartride again.

If they are under warranty, call HP for replacement.

If you still have the same problem, you may have problems with transport. Contacts of Flex and transport FCS.

  • Is it possible to restore the realization of streak of moving after the recent update of watch?

Is it possible to restore the realization "streak more long movement" after the recent update of watch (v2.2)?   I had a streak of 44 moving goes when I updated the watch (04/04/16).  After the update, although I continue to exceed my goal of moving, I no longer get the prize for the longest series of moving.  Data are always available in the watch (I can see all complete circles).

    Hello

While it may be that for any other achievements being credited, may be useful for the future allocation of achievements to close open applications on your iPhone and then restart your iPhone and your watch:

    • To close open applications on your iPhone: click twice on the Home button, and then drag upward on each preview of the app.
    • Both devices turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first:
      • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off.
