Magic of the network hit all the computers off line when the laptop wireless on signs

I have Network Magic V. 5.1.9055.0, a G from Linksys WRT110 wireless router. Online at any time may be all or part of the next list computers/gamers, computer hand Win XP sp3 is connected to the router, Samsung clp300 printer lazer connected to the main computer as a server, Vista sp2 office connected to the Wii, PS3 wireless wireless router and laptop Vista sp2 wireless. Whenever the laptop wireless comes online, it will stop magic network until the wireless is fully initialized and online, it strikes all onlines offline until there is a full boot of the wireless.

Very frustrating since we went all the cisco and spilled a belkin router that worked perfectly with the above configuration. (unfortunately I gave the belkin far and no longer have access to it or I would have released this new linksys and would be happy to once again) I don't understand why cisco units cannot work together in harmony?  In any case, I can't find any info on the help of linksys or the magical sites network which brings me to this forum. Need help, please notify...

I removed NM v5.1.9055 three computers and re-installed to v 5.5.9118. inserted my key and re started to each of them. When the laptop wireless started it off the other two for about 3 minutes until the phone was fully charged while we were back on the line. The poster always online in the map view, the internet router is and the laptop (Vista) shows online, but the report to other computers (1 XP and 1 Vista) shows red and offline. Always frustrating because it's all working without error until I installed the linksys cisco router then the trouble started... still need help...

Asked this question in the Windows 7 forum also because the problem was between windows 7 and Vista.

    Hello

If it has started, you can try a system restore - an update "might" have caused the problem.

    1. try a system restore back to a point before that happened. And immediately thereafter enter
Control Panel - Windows updates - top left settings and set it to download and informs you instead
Automatic. Leave it until you are sure that everything is OK and then you can add them one at a time
to troubleshoot BUT click right on and HIDE all the driver updates. Also stop at day of drivers like below
and let this value - manually search for drivers when you think you need. (See how and why to)
    stop day of drivers below.)

How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html

To uninstall an update if you determine that there are problems - Panel - updated Windows - down left-
    Updates installed - uninstall

I had completely forgotten the system restore!  While looking into the system restore, I found that when I moved into my new House and has cable Internet installed, the cable technology installed a program of comcast on my computer.  This caused me to not be able to connect with other computers.  After rolling back to install it before it works!   Thank you.

  • I have two computers in Windows 7 which will not each other on my network. All other computers will see and can share files, but they connect between them.

My HP laptop has installed Win7 Ult, the Fujitus Win7 Pro.

Both computers were sharing the files back, outside a residential group, for a period of time. One day, they are stopped. No changes have been made to computers. I tried a restore of the system on each of them, and it did not help. I re windows loaded on the HP and that did not help. I don't think that it is only a permission of the questions that I used a windows machine 7 third to map actions to each of the individual laptops using their respective IDs. I can transfer files from one of them the "machine in the middle", then the action of the other, or as a copy/paste between them directly.

WSD and NetBT will not solve one machine for others, but all other computers on the network will dispay on each machine. Only, they refuse to see each other. I have disabled the firewall. Password protected sharing, ensured that all netbios in the registry settings are correct. Pings between them are inaccessible returnded.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi Jonathan,.

I see that you two computers on the network cannot see each other. I'll help you with this problem.

    1. don't you make changes to the computers?

2 are computers on a domain network?

    3. do you have a router connected to these computers?

    Method 1:

    Open the HomeGroup troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-HomeGroup-Troubleshooter

    Method 2.

Make sure that the following services are enabled on the computer.

    (a) click Start, type "services.msc" in the search and click on services. Verify that these services are enabled:

    -TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service

    -DNS Client

    -Function Discovery Resource Publication

    -SSDP Discovery

    -UPnP device host

To start the service and set it to automatic, follow these steps:

    (b) right click on each of the services listed above and click Properties.

    (c) click the general tab, and then, next to startup type, select automatic.

    (d) click on apply and then click Start.

  • 1415 CM cold Color mfp goes off line when a pc Windows 8 joined the Group

I have a network that uses a Sprint MiFi unit as the access device and router. My printer the CM1415 worked for two years with reliability when my old PC is connected A Toshiba laptop with Win Vista 64 bit and a laptop from Sony with Win 7 Ultimate. My nexus device 7 can even connect to the internet without problem. I recently purchase a Lenovo all in one with Windows 8 every time that this machine is running the printer is offline, and even if it is reset it goes off line almost immediately. The Working Group on all of the PCs is the same, and all of them continue to be able to access the Internet. When I disable the machine Win 8 and run the network Test the printer resets and works very well.

    Any ideas out there

Hey Mrstenter.  My problem is solved, here's what I did to solve

1 mobility Homegroup in the Machine of Win8 (no effect)
    2. change workgroup in network on behalf of our working group (no effect)
3 reset the device MiFi Sprint factory and recreated the network using a different SSID and a both reconnected the old PC and reconfigured the network connections and the printer. (everything worked as before)
4 added Win 8 PC and connected and the printer is still alive and active for all. HP said that the Protocol of security WPA-2 was not supported but my Sprint MiFi would not allow me to reset and it worked before

You may not have gotten the Jist but the printer has worked for 2 years on the network before. I just added the Windows 8 PC that broke the connection for other devices on the network whenever it was turned on.

WPA2-psk might not be supported, but it worked and doesn't work always, and until I physically change my Sprint MiFi, I have no other options maybe it's a hardware failure, but it is what it is.

  • Wired laptop but unable to connect to the laptop wireless wireless PC can connect cable PC OK

I have a wired network on whiich, I connected a WAP54G access point for my laptop wireless to children. They are never anything other that connect to the internet, so I never noticed this before. Now, I bought my own laptop and that you want to connect from my main computer but the laptop is not visible on the network. I then connected directly on the laptop to the network wired through an ethernet cable, and it was visible from the wired PC as you would expect. Back fi he returned invisible.

Does anyone have ideas, what could cause this behavior?

    Thanks for all your comments

Presumably using your XP or Vista!

You need to change network settings into the laptop to allow remote connections according to the directives of the wired connection.

You will also need to make changes to the false firewall XP/Vista has as well.

FYI: The WAP54G has no way to filter all network traffic, so the question is not to the AP.

Tried to reinstall software online version and CD. Rebooted the modem, router, printer and laptop in the sequence. tried the hp and doctor downloads hp diagnostic utility. Try installing a new HP8600 ProPlus.  I configured the wireless to the printer, and it is connected to my wireless network, has an IP address and an intense sound signal.  When I try to add this printer to my laptop (I tried now many laptops), it can not find.

I uninstalled the driver software and downloaded from the HP website - reinstalled, etc..  I rolled power the printer itself.

I see a lot of posts on this problem, but you see not all the good answers.

I worked today with HP technical support.  We ended up having to change the channel on my router 1 to 11.  Once we did that, I was able to connect to the printer.  Once this is done, I was also able to connect from my iPohone via AirPrint.

DOES not connect to win 7 PC... worked fine with the old router (2 years)

PC sees the wireless network and connects with password, still "NO internet connection".

    any ideas?

    Thank you waltinbatonrouge

Thanks a lot for taking the time to suggest a fix... But the WRT1900AC went back to Best Buy yesterday. Easy back, by the way.

Oh just a parenthesis... the WRT1900ac has finally connected ok Cat5. The speakeasy speedtest showed on 100-105Mbps of download, the same as the old EA3500 seized croasse.

So, instead, I found an EA3500 used in a store of the local computer. Reset default and he already had the latest firmware.

The old router Cisco EA3500 used the very simple "Cisco Conect" utility.

Forums directed me to a version EA3500 of the "Linksys WiFi Smart" utility, which was a painless and immediately picked up the wireless for laptop Toshiba.

He ran the same features on the speedtest and connected 'excellent' on room android...

    Have a great week!

  • Had to go to the WPA to get connection Nook. Now the laptop will not connect.

Newly acquired Nook Color would not recognize connection WEP. So I spent the Bureau for the WPA. Now laptop said little or no connectivity. Can the corners as well and portable live in this environment? If so, how?

It's a good thing.  WEP is near useless for what is security is these days.

Connect to a router, or using ad hoc wireless to share the Internet connection belonging to the office?

Most wireless routers require that all devices use the same encryption level.  Some newer routers can allow a mixture of WPA and WPA2, but as far as I know, none allow the WEP and WPA at the same time.  If you use a wireless adapter in the Office for an ad hoc wireless network, I'm sure that without these adapters allow the WEP and WPA.

Change your laptop in WPA too.

You may need to remove the connection recorded first in order to make this change. Assuming you use Windows to configure the adapter to the laptop wireless (and more far assuming that the laptop is running XP sp2 or greater), the procedure is as follows:

    • Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
    • Right click on the wireless adapter icon and select Properties
    • Click the "Wireless Networks" tab
    • Select your network wireless from the list of "Preferred networks", then click on the button Delete
    • OK your way out

Now find your wireless network in the list of available wireless networks, click connection and enter the WPA password when you are prompted.
