Mail, caught in a loop

The application of my Mail is in a constant loop. Basically, when I open it, an e-mail flashes upward, then flashes off the coast again and again. the cycle is about 3 to 4 seconds and at the same time off the coast. The application does not a fault report, nor I can force quit, leaving the normal way.

1. Please disconnect from the Internet temporarily by disabling Wi - Fi and/or unplug the Ethernet cable, whichever is applicable.

Open the unsent in the Outbox message and select Save on the file menu. It must be saved in the drafts mailbox. If you do not want to save, just delete it.

Reconnect to the Internet. You can now open the saved message and try to send it again.

2. If the problem is not resolved, see this support article.

  • iMac 2012 - sierra installation failed, caught in the loop, please help

    Hey everybody.

    That's what I have:

    iMac 27 "mid-2011. He had on El Capitan.

    This iMac contains two hard drives and drive superdrive.

    A disc is 256 GB SSD and the other a regular 2 TB internal HARD drive.

    As SSD is faster that I keep my OS X and programs on this SSD drive, all the other stuff like photos, music, documents, are put on the classic 2 TB HDD.

    This is what happened:

    Attempt of I:

    Everything was going well until the installer has discovered that the SSD did not have a sufficient space to install. I quit the installer, the option pop up, I called "Startup Volume" has chosen my SSD and restarted it. Has been 2 attempts, if I'm not wrong, but worked. I killed and moved the files, I think now would be enough disk space on my SSD tried the Sierra ad install again.

    --> Attempt II:

    This time Sierra Installer arrived at the stage language choose where he welcomed and asked to choose the language. The next screen it tells me once again: not enough space, the bigger internal drive offers enough, but I don't want that. So, I tried the same exit to leave the program and launch then boot Volume installation...

    ... that in trouble:

    My SSD drive now no longer appears in this window of the boot Volume.

    When you try to access the boot Volume it will skip in the app language choose, sometimes shows this window choice animation multilingual, sometimes simply stays gray but will show when moving the mouse upwards arrow to the top of the screen, choose language drops in when I try to open the boot Volume after leaving the installation program. In addition, the language choice (can not be exited by cmd Q is said by the way) seems to open before the boot app Volume and the boot volume app does not appear my drive more-> Catastropheeeeee!

    Also option to restart regular off the menu above will not help. After about half to the top of the boot of the SIERRA Installer keeps new hindsight. No chance to reboot to my previous El Capitan based OSX. I am bound to this loop.

    Is turned off, wait and switch back to does not help, even in a loop.

    Then I tried also open disk utility, I also have an external time machine backup drive connected. Tried this way to restore my SSD of time machine, which fails on every attempt.

    I'm totally caught up.

    Help, please!

    just in case.

    I did the job.

    Launched my iMac in disc mode on my mac pro book. A few items to the disc hard iMac deleted, then restarted, macos sierra resumed and concluded correctly, in other words: all and working again!

    Even a message to Apple to look bad when insufficient disk space is detected, see my first post, thanks.

    Best regards

  • Mail stuck in the loop. Cannot access same Mail preferences!

    Hello to you all. Can anyone help? I'm trying to set up Mail (in lieu of Thunderbird) I want to use the possibilities of synchronizing with Mail on my other Apple devices. The title says it all, and I have attached a screenshot of what I see. Impossible to do anything, except to force them to leave cannot even open Mail preferences! I'm on iMac with El Capitan Version 10.11.3 Mail Version 9.2 (3112). Henry

    Hi Aitchb65,

    Thank you for your participation in the communities of Support from Apple.

    I see that the mail is stuck in a loop and the opening of many windows unexpectedly. Try to run Mail in 'safe mode' by following these steps:

    Open Mail and immediately hold down the SHIFT key until the Mail is opened. This causes the Mail to open without any message or box to the selected letters.

    Of Mail if closes unexpectedly when displaying certain messages.

    If the Mail normally opens, try to update your SMTP settings -Mail (El Capitan): list of outgoing mail server settings.

    You can also delete email accounts in Mail preferences and start over after export and save all important messages. To help in this part, see Mail (El Capitan): Configure Mail with your email accounts and Mail (El Capitan): import / export the mailboxes.

    Sincerely.

  • After the last set windows to update my computer got caught in a loop, trying to step 3 of 3__ he remains at 0% for a while, then restarts.

    Windows does not run in a reboot loop

    Windows does not run in a reboot loop

    From:
    The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista and Windows 7

    When you try to install update 937287 from Windows Update on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may receive the following message: Configuring updates step 3 of 3. 0% complete after you receive this message, the computer restarts, and then you receive the same message again. Windows will not start and the computer continues to restart and display the same message. The update is not installed successfully.

    To resolve this problem, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented. Method 1 is the simplest solution, and method 3 is the most complex.
    * Method 1: Start Windows with the Windows installation media and use the repair feature
    * Method 2: Start the system in safe mode and then use the system restore feature

    Ignore the number KB of the update in the article and start with the method 2 .
    If this does not resolve the reboot loop, then perform the method 1 .
    There is No method 3 listed in the article, and he needs a correction.

  • Caught in a loop of Vista boot

    My better half has used my laptop and now it does not start at the top. It is a screen that says, "installing windows update 3/3" stays there for a few minutes and then restarts the same screen. It will continue in this loop without having to open on the desktop. Any ideas on how to cross or to solve the problem would be appreciated. THX.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:
    As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.
    As your falls into the above category: download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista repair disc.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    There is not a disk of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    See you soon.
    Hello
    Are logged as administrator or an account with administrative preliviges?
  • Has anyone caught in a loop of disconnection when you try to open a session?
    And everyone had to deal with Adobe Creative customer service cloud in India and has endured really unacceptable interaction? I have a problem with my account does not let me login, which is strange because I can login here to post on the forums. I go to service customer billing rep, a tech rep and a supervisor that not everyone has a large handle on the language English and are not particularly beautiful or useful.
    They say that the only way they can help is by me giving them remote access to my computer. For security reasons, I do not allow this type of access, unless I know not really part connection to my computer.
    They then essentially me I'm out of luck and that's my problem not theirs because I won't give them access. I asked to be transferred to a person who understands English better or is located in the United States. They say that I'm still not luck... THEY are the only one able to help me with Adobe products. They refuse to look at a screenshot of what I get when I try to log in again.
    I can't believe this. Adobe is to save costs by outsourcing to the India spreads to its customers as a cost in lost time and productivity.
    Basically, when I enter my email and pw to creative cloud, I get this below, and if I try to connect again, it just loop.
    adobe cc login error image.png
    He works today! Thank you. Don' t know if this was your problem or a local
    question on my computer, but it is fixed.
    BTW... you can the customer in India is not to say that if service people
    We don't give them access to our computers, that there is NO alternative
    get help. It makes them look like an illegal organization which is just
    trying to get our exclusive information. It is also poor customer service
    There is no other alternative for us to help to tell me. They
    should suggest forums. Reflects very badly on Adobe.
  • Tecra Z40 - Caught in the loop of pre-launch workspace Ironkey
    I have implemented an Ironkey with Windows To Go and managed to boot into it since several H.P. machines and even 3 years A.c.e.r.
    However, when starting on my Tecra Z40 - has, the workspace of pre-launch Ironkey load and shows the standard message that she is about to start on Windows and will restart.
    After this restart, it starts again in the same workspace Preboot screen, reboot, same message, same workspace.
    I guess there is something in the BIOS that needs to be changed to get this working, but have no idea what it could be.
    Ideas? Thoughts?
    I guess you try to start the system (Ironkey) external USB flash memory stick
    Well, to start a laptop equipped with the UEFI BIOS, first you must disable secure boot option. It is in the BIOS settings.
  • How can I stop mail constantly try to resend an email bounced?
    A time back I sent an email to both addresses at a time.  Email went to a single address successfully but bounced on the other (with the message "failure MX Lookup;") try later).  Mail continues to try to return it to failed and I get emails bounce back.  How can I stop trying to send the email?  Enamel is in my "Sent" folder, so no use to delete from there - it just seems to be caught in a loop of cyberspace.  It's not ruining my life, just vaguely annoying.
    The other problem is that the address has failed is a desk that I need to send things, so if anyone can tell me how to stop my e-mails get rejected from there, that would be great...
    Is there a message still in your Outbox? Is there and it is this remove it from there.
    Most likely mail "successfully" sent to your mail server and it's your e-mail server who tried several times to send it to the other people's e-mail server. In this case, the options are to delete your mail from Queue - Server users something normal cannot do, but the server administrator may be able to do for you.
    Even if there is nothing that you can do yourself that a mail server will normally only try to send an email to a number of attempts or days and then stop. The number varies depending on the settings of the server.
    There are a lot of possible reasons as to why it's a failure for a well known email address alleged. In this case based on the limited data available, it could be one of the following.
    • The recipient doesn't have to renew the domain name registration and so their field was suspended, so your server can not 'find '.
    • Someone accidentally messed up the DNS settings for the domain of recipients, not impossible but unlikely
    • Currently, their internet connection is defective and they run their own DNS server, so as a side effect of their DNS record has also become unavailable, it is for this kind of situation that your mail server is trying repeatedly for once in the hope that their link returns to the top
    • If you typed the wrong email address in case the domain name, then your server will not be able to find it because it is looking for the wrong name
    • They recently moved offices and/or Internet providers and meanwhile, their systems can be offline
    In many cases they should bid a secondary MX record so that if their own mail server is temporarily unavailable mails sent at the entrance side and temporarily kept them until their mail server is back online then the secondary MX server will forward all the emails that have been temporarily held in them. Some people/companies do not reach the secondary MX records of installation.
  • Sequential calendar loop
    I have attached an image of a VI that I created to try to debug what I call a sequential structure of timing. I use the screw express time up in the structures of flat sequence with enabled auto reset. I have for both elapsed time indicators. What caught the first loop will be execure and don't stop until the elapsed time reaches 5 seconds, then the second loop starts and run until the time spent on the second elapsed timer reaches 5 seconds. What I expect to happen is outside while the loop will return execution to the first sequence flat while loop, the timer will be reset, and the above sequence will start again. What actually happens is that 'elapsed time' in the first elapsed timer remains true and the loop exits immediately. The second timer resets and account as expected. I'm sure this is a simple mistake, I do, but some advice would be refreshing.
    Here is what is happening in your case:
    The two express screws started autoreset, which means once passed the first time loop, it resets the timer and start counting again. Five seconds later the second loop stops and starts again from the first loop. Now, more than 5 seconds have passed after it has reset, so the elapsed time again.
  • run inside once timed loop
    I have a timed loop that monitors the equipment. Whenever there is an error I send a notification by e-mail. My problem is how to stop send e-mail whenever the time loop is executed. I tried placing email it inside a loop, but quickly realized that the whole of the loop itself is reiterted. Any help is much appreiciated.
    You can also consider using the first call? under the range of synchronization primitive.
