Mail from windows Vista causes all messages become attachments and nothing appears in the body of the message
I tried to identify the elements of what everyone says as temporary files and I reset the default values without result. When I run the windows mail application, it flashes briefly the content of the first email in the text of the display area and him disappears and when all messages are loaded, they are all empty in the viewing areas and attachments when you click Open in I.e. and dispay the content.
I see some with similar problems a little saying that Regcure and CCleaner solved the problem, but I'm not sure they're just plug the software or it really solves the problem. Any contribution is appreciated.
I can't find any reference to the symptoms you are experiencing. I suspect it's something touching WinMail and no WinMail himself. At this point, I would see if you can get better suggestions in this forum.

Loss of e-mail when you import e-mails from Windows Vista to Windows 7
I have a lot of email (more than 5000 files with 300 000 emails) in Windows Mail in Vista.
I recently bought the new laptop with Windows 7.
When I tried to import old email into the new machine with Windows Mail of liver, most of the emails in subfolders is lost.
Only those e-mails in the Inbox and the old sent box, etc., may be imported.
Please advise how can cope with this problem.
If the eml files will not import, you can create a new folder in WLM, and then drag the eml files from the folder above to incorporate them into the folder. How to transfer emails from a user account on the same computer on Windows mail in Windows Vista
my name is misspelled when accounts set up for the user after the clean install of Vista Home Premium. I want to create a new account with my name correctly spelled and remove the old once I have everything transferred to the new account. Create the account and transfer my document folders, I think that presents no problems (all my documents are in an external drive), but I'm not sure of the correct way to windows mail transfer. I saw an article inhttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile, but it says nothing about the only thing I need and that is to know how to transfer mail from windows. I just reinstalled vista a week ago and I'm still working from my external hard drive, the only thing I really have to transfer from the old account because my Windows Mail. Any help would be appreciated

Hello
Thanks for the post.
Disconnect any attached external devices.
If you use a third-party antivirus disable and then install updates and check.
Temporarily turn off the firewall and antivirus software and try to install the updates.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/disable-antivirus-software#1TC=Windows-VistaNote: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable the antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network at the time the anti-virus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
If this does not help, then I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state and then install. Start your computer in a clean boot state, you can reduce conflicts between software and help identify the root cause of the problem. You can read this article for more information:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: after the resolution of the problem, reset the computer to start as usual. Refer to the step How to configure the computer to start as usual after a boot minimum troubleshooting under more information.
Try this and let us know the results.

After upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 get error 0000 when turn on computer
I've recently updated my Windows from Windows Vista to Windows 7. Now, whenever I turn on my computer, I get an error message that says ERROR 0000. How can I fix this and what it means? I tried to get help online, but my ID is not recognized. Can someone help me?
You could try a few things first, check the Action Center in Windows 7 for all possible solutions (click Start, type: Action Center > press enter).
Then you can also try repair your installation of Windows 7:
1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7
2. restart your computer
3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
4. Select your language, click Next.
5. click on "repair your computer".
6. Select the operating system you want to repair. If the problem persists, try these other suggestions:
Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannowThis will check for any breach of integrity
Restart your system
Check your hard drive for errors:
Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /r
When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME during the upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista
I'm getting an unmountable_boot_volume during the upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista. It occurs after Windows 7 software loads and restarts. If I restart the computer, I have the option to start the upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows Vista. If I select Windows Vista, the computer restarts without problem. If I choose Windows 7 Upgrade, I get the blue screen of death with the unmountable_boot_volume error. Of course, nothing wrong with the boot volume because Windows Vista starts without error. The boot drive is 1.5 TB. Any suggestions on how to accomplish the upgrade to Windows 7?

Attempt to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7
I try to update my Windows Vista to Windows 7. I bought to download the rom update the Microsoft store and downloaded, but when I try to start the upgrade I have a stateing message that it is impossible to create or save new files in the folder where it was downloaded. I checked the security permissions in the file and made sure that no programs are 'read only', but it won't always go beyond this point!
Hello
What is the edition of Windows Vista installed on the computer?Make sure that you upgrade to the correct version, some versions of Windows cannot be upgraded with the installation disc you are trying to use. For example, you cannot upgrade a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version, or upgrade a higher edition of Windows like Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, to a lower edition, such as Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. If this is the case, you will need to use the custom during installation option.
Before you attempt to upgrade, please run the Windows 7 upgrade Advisor:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor
Also, check if your computer is compatible for Windows 7, using the Compatibility Center:

Windows Easy Transfer of 64-bit to 32-bit, or vice versa
HelloI'm trying to fix my settings my current machien to a W7 VM user to make sure that I have the transfer settings and I get all the information I want. My machine is 64 bit, but the VM is 32-bit. I can't seem to get the easy transfer Windows from Windows Vista to play with Windows 7 easy transfer and can't seem to install the transfer Windows 7 because it gives me only a 32-bit version to install...
How I have a 64-bit Windows 7 Easy Transfer to install and if I get one to install and build a transfer saved the data file has there 'restore' on a 32-bit Windows?
George George P Botuwell, programmer
Hi George P Boutwell,.
Thank you for using answers Forum.
I think that VMware has a 64-bit/function version. You will need to contact them to verify this.
64-bit to 32-bit is not supported by Windows Easy Transfer, as far as I know.I hope this helps.
