Mail hangs on iOS10

Uplated iOS 10, yesterday, on MD524LL/A 64 GB iPad (currently about 50% used).  All email from work today, I've known many accidents.  Have not been able to find a common denominator, but basically everything goes that e-mail to E-mail mail will crash just taking me back to the home screen.  Mail will be reopened and the process begins again.  Post this to this mainly bring to the attention of Apple.

    If I understand your message right, whenever you open mail in your user account on your Mac, you're stuck in a screen to upgrade and never actually need you in your Inbox. I know how important it is to have the Mail app works fine on your Mac, so I'm happy to help you to get to the bottom of this.

    What I would recommend to do first is to restart your Mac, by logging in to your user account and then hold the SHIFT key while you click on the e-mail application. Now keep shift key until it opens Mail. This will cause the Mail to open without boxes to specific letters or messages to open. Give Mail some loading time to see if the problem persists.

    If you want to try the restoration of boxes to letters with Time Machine, the steps detailed here: use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac to view your messages in Time Machine, you'll need to have the app open to the time that you Mail brought into Time Machine.

    Then you can try to start in safe mode to delete some system-level caches and check and if necessary repair disk. Once you log in safe mode, reboot normally and test the issue again.

    Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

    Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

    After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

    To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

    If you continue to have problems with your e-mail application, the next thing that I recommend is reinstall macOS so Mail gets reloaded. It won't have to erase all the data on your Mac. You can find the steps on how to reinstall listed under the "If you're reinstalling for other reasons" section of How to reinstall Mac OS , you can skip step 2 in this article since you won't be wiping your drive first.

  • Windows mail hangs...

    For no reason windows apparent mail started crashing. Sometimes I can work for an hour before it happened, normally it is 5 minutes. I took the computer back to a number of restore points and know that I went to a point before what is going on has begun. Sometimes closes, the program opens almost immediately without my doing anything... then he will crash and close the bottle.

    I had the same problem at first but I was testing the first version of ios 10.  but the reason may be due to the low storage? If your storage space is ok please go to settings then general try to look for the software update again just to make sure that you use the latest version of ios usually there a few times an update immediately. If none of these solve the problem, try now button the power button and the home button at the same time (the screen of your iphone turns off a few seconds) touches both simultaneously when you see the apple logo on your screen if all else fails you can try connecting your device to itunes on a pc and run a quick diagnostic test? you go to itunes on a pc if you have already installed on your pc, laptop etc... Look at the upper left side... Click the help... Go to the bottom of the list to "Start the diagnosis" (make sure that all the test boxes have a tick and click ok to run the test) PLEASE NOTE your iphone you will need to be connected to the computer before hand... hope this will help you know if there is a problem, but when I came across this problem with my camera it was because my storage was almost full on my device and in icloud if This is the case then you need to maybe buy more storage or delete applications or games, you do not use this should help solve the problem of storage (if your device is low on storage)? hope this helps somehow.

    I updated my iPhone 6 g & iPad Air to iOS10 and now I no longer have 'previous' and 'next' buttons in the mailer.  The update designed to remove these buttons or was it an oversight?  I use them a LOT, it's much easier to navigate through all my email with these buttons, rather than continually back to the Inbox to view e-mail.

    After upgrading to ios10, the arrows preceding and following went from the mail on my iPad air2 app, but still there, on the iPhone.  This may get fixed? It's a pain to have to keep going back to the full list of headers when I want to just go to the next message.

    Unfortunately you don't have. If you use your ipad in landscape (wider than tall) you will see the list of e-mail, but the up/down arrows are not part of the iOS10 built a reason any.

    At the lower right corner of this page is a link "contact us" and on this page, below, is an option to send feedback if you want to register your opinion with Apple, but beyond that, all users can do is get the habit I am sorry to say.

    Same question, very exasperating.  I noticed one thing was that if you delete the account and start over, shared folders are there, at least initially.  If you leave the app and come back later, they are gone.  I suspect that a prefix is stored in the application state that prevents later shared folders to be seen.  I noticed that other applications also have problems, see the shared folders, including by aircraft and shipping, though.  I really liked having access to those from before this update - difficulty please!

    Just updated to iOS10, and now when I open an email I get a blank screen, as in the image below.

    After some tests, I still receive emails fine and able to send. Preview of content works fine (e.g., see the first 2 lines of the email). Just can't 'open' e-mails.

    One of my email accounts has an apostrophe in the email address. Delete this email account solves the problem. However this account worked fine before the update.

    Any suggestions, or just a new bug to iOS10?
