• How to remove all items in the download under bookmark folder in the shortest time?

  I understand that all downloads from the internet and yahoo/google mail are stored in the "Download" folder I bookmarked when I want to delete. I think that if the download folder is never empty, then my mac will slow down. So I want to remove these downloads that I've seen. How can I remove all THE items in the shortest time? Deleting items, even in groups, takes a long time. Is there a method I can use so that all the items in the folder are deleted in one fell swoop?

• Incorrectly includes messages in the junk e-mail folder

  For several weeks now, Mail puts bad messages in the junk e-mail folder.  These are messages (such as the Financial Times Morning News and others) where I have the email address in my contacts list.  I don't find a way to mark the message as "not spam."  I move mail in the Inbox, but the Mail does not get the indicator - not - learn and keeps putting these messages in the junk e-mail folder.  (I have email addresses in my contacts list and have enabled the trust to senders in my contacts list.)

  I sent my spam filtering which fixes some problems, but it is always the case.

  Unless it's grey/navy/red, your e-mail marked as spam most likely provider. All you can try to do is go to the site and see if you can find a way to adjust the filters it.

  When in Mail preferences, I have disabled "spam filtering". Filtering is certainly nice, but I've lost several very important messages because they have been filtered as 'junk. ' I get thousands of emails and the time it takes to filter them personally is considerable but rather time aside taken through my Junk folder, I think it would be easier to simply receive all emails and take the time needed to manually filter...

  How do you know that Mail is placing it there? What color are the messages and you have the option to mark as not junk?

  If Mail is marking them as spam, then they are going to be coloured Brown and you will have the icon to mark them as legitimate.

  It is possible that your email provider placed in the junk e-mail folder. If you use IMAP, then it will reflect it in Mail.

  Messages are likely to the old identity and you can go to file | Import | Messages to bring them into the new identity.  See also point 4 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

  The account information will have to be put in place in the new identity.  You can switch between the old and new identities also.  If save you messages and settings (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6), you must do it for the two identities, unless the new identity has all the information you need in it.

  I read the instructions under Mozilla based on Firebird training and set up a junk folder - DONE!
  But, while some junk goes in the folder junk e-mail, others remain in my Inbox marked as junk. Why? Is it in line, and some action is expected of me - or a flaw in the process?

  I don't have a real answer for you. But BT using Yahoo mail and my recent comments is Yahoo IMAP is in a world of its own when it comes to spam and marking mail as such. It moves e-mail and from the unwanted spam/e-mail folder with its own rules and that Thunderbird be damned. Oh one there is no way to turn their junk filtering.

  I recently had to change an old email client I've used for years, Outlook Express on my Windows XP computer. Using the Base of knowledge (including 209169) articles I have set up two separate identities, with each having its own email account information. But when running, whatever the identity is selected both receives all messages for the two identities. This is not the way it is supposed to work, is it? How can I fix this?

  In each identity, go to tools | Accounts. It must only have an account in each. Is this the case?

  If they are both, delete the one that should not be there. If this is not the case, then addresses are aliases for the mailbox and you will need to create message rules to divert mail to its respective identities of Inbox.

  Recently, from a month ago or so, when I open Thunderbird and it connects to my ISP to download new e-mail messages, e-mails that the Junk detector "think" might be spam, these emails are deleted immediately permanently instead of being moved to my Junk folder, as I've mentioned Thunderbird in all options on how to manage junk e-mail. I know that there have been e-mails that were sent to me for the first time by a new friend or colleague whom I have not yet put in my contacts folder. In fact, I know an e-mail in particular when someone sent me his email address in the email that comes to be obtained permanently deleted. So if anyone knows what's happening here and what I can do to stop this behavior, I'd be very grateful all assistance.   Connect to the account user OWA (Outlook Web access) and found a spam orphans filter that was visible in OWA. After removing the filter from the orphan, the messages were more is blocked. I hope this helps!
