Mail too slow to use text entry!
It's not constant, but sometimes I can not reply to an email because if I press a key for the letter he take a second to make it appear. If I check activity monitor nothing is presented as a problem, so I don't know what the problem is. I use OS 10.10.5 on my iMac.
Any ideas?

PXI-4071 sampling too slow when using a hardware trigger
We use 3 PXI - 4071 s in parallel to measure with accuracy of high voltages. The program is written using LabVIEW 8.5.1.
An additional test condition has been added which requires the use of a quadrature decoder and the synchronous DMM.
We thought it would be simple, using backplane trigger 0.
However, something odd happens.
With a low-cut VI that uses a single DMM, we get 100 microseconds time to sample running with internal triggers. However, if the overall relaxation or trigger of the sample is set to TTL0, the sample time becomes so 5.1 milliseconds. It seems very strange that even just definition of overall relaxation, expected to affect only the time of the first sample, not the time between samples, has that effect. The plug for the DMM also said, that the maximum trigger rate is of 6 kHz.
We have confirmed this reported sample time is independent of the speed of the clock actually connected to TTL0. If the clock is faster, it gets the reported sample time. If it's slower, the samples occur on the edges of the clock.
Does anyone know if there is a parameter that has a default that changes based on the source of command and can be changed to work around this problem, you?
I found the solution to this.
Over time the value-1, the DMM uses a short value (less than 100 US) to set hour when, in modes triggered internally. However, he used much longer (about 5 ms) when the value - 1 and with the help of a hardware trigger.
If the running-in is set to 1e-5, i.e. 10 microseconds, "the estimate" returned for conversion period goes from 5.1 ms 100, we and conversions actually occur at a rate set when clocked with trig 0-5 kHz

in my first slide I text entry areas for
1 user name
2. name of the superior
3. the e-mail of the superior court
Let's say that: 1. refer to varialbe V_UserN
2. refer to V_sup
3 see V_emailS
next slide would be a video
next slide would be a text entry or a text box... It is where the user writes anything
With the button "submit" text entry box
What I want in this text entry box is... If the user does not write any what upone by clicking on the button submit, the interaction would be 'please write a review on the text box. If the user write something the thing, the Send button run continue.
How can I do this?
next slide would be an input text field or a text box... in which the user write something on the issue (this isn't a slide of questionnaire). The message would be sent to the email of superiors. How can I do this?
hope you can help me.
Thank you
To check if the user didn't write anything, you will have to compare the value of the associated variable of the TEB or text box with a v_null user variable. You must create this user variable and simply leave it blank.
Take a look at my blog:
You create the custom with standard objects question slide. There is a widget mail included with Captivate, but did not try if you can insert the value of a variable by an email address.

I designed a slide that has 3 areas of text entry.
I need the user to be able to type in their response to the first box and then press the ENTER key, it will pass them in the next text box. After typing in their response to the second box, press ENTER, and then have developed pass to the third area.
I don't want to use tab, I want to go to work as a shortcut key, so this works well on all devices. It feels like a trip to the logic of the user.
I removed the button SUBMIT and check the validate user input.
I put the shortcut key to ENTER in propriety / Actions area
However, after that type in an answer and pressing on enter, the focus is not moved in the input text box available at the following address on the same blade.
This happens regardless of browser (tested Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE9/10) and also OS - Windows 7, Mac OSX 10.9, 10.10 and latest version of iOS
Only the tab key works (Ive even tried with other keyboard shortcuts and it always comes back to TAB).
I know that this feature is possible in Captivate 9. I have read and watched many tutorials online, it seems a very basic feature. I could be wrong.
This is a feature of wholesale/known or I'm doing something wrong.
If a bug, is there a plan to fix it soon?
Indeed, your problem is related to the Enter key as a shortcut key, not to have multiple TEB and one absolutely validation button. Take a look at this article very old (you are not the first to ask about this):
A submit button for multiple text entry boxes? -Captivate Blog
But here I explained to indicate to the user click in a next TEB, do not use input.

Using ALT + _ with text entry
Hello
I'm trying to use the shortcut Alt + A for multiple text entry boxes, but I can't seem to validate. As I looked for a solution, I found
(where someone has tried to use ALT with clickboxes) where Adobe has responded:The problem is with actionscript 3. It sends no 'Alt' keydown messages for event listeners in actionscript inside the browser. In actionscript 2, there is a utility class named "Key", which has since been removed in Actionscript3. With the help of the 'Key' class we could determine if the 'Alt' key is pressed in AS2. Now that we have lacked the means. »
Does this mean that I can't use ALT as a shortcut?
I use CP5, edition of an exe on a windows machine 7.
Thank you!
I'm afraid that the answer is Yes. Several keystrokes are problematic in this way. You will need to find another shortcut to use.

Hello
http://gumbo.flashhub.NET/keyboard/
It is a small example of a 'virtual' keyboard that will enter the text into a textinput/textarea component selected. Capslock and shift key States really aren't quite right (really need control shift/cap lock combo), but there is a simple tab and backspace (delete) and enter the function key.
hope this is useful

Text captions do not appear when it is used with text entry areas (C3)
I'm building a simulation of accounting system where the learner needs to enter data. I entered text boxes (one per blade) appearing all the time on the slide. I have captions that tell the student what to enter, but are synchronized with the audio, then a final text legend who told them how to go to the next slide (press tab, etc.). My problem is that the text captions do not appear if they are configured to appear after the text input area appears on the time line. Has anyone experience this problem? Any suggestions?
We have created a work around using a highlight box where the text entry box will appear later - so that all the text captions and text entry boxes appear at the same time. Should be an easier way!
Hello
Yes, we see this question over and over again. Especially with new users.
You need to come to terms with the works of Captivate. Imagine it's like a stream flowing by. Expect a legend to appear, but something stopped the flow. Blocking is your text box for entry (TEB). He interrupts the slide, waiting for your user to enter data.
The key here is that you need to adjust the point break for ETB.
See you soon... Rick

29,0 is too slow and continues to return when using of 28.0 Grrrrr!
29,0 was too slow and too jerky. I returned to 28.0 and it was fine until 29 reinstalled on its own. I checked about: config and everything everywhere was assigned to prevent back but he did anyway. Sorry to his coarse, but what gives? I had deal with this as it has evolved. We should always be able to choose, right?

Slide auto is using of multiple text entry boxes once the user enters two of the six answers
I have several areas set up on a slide text entry. The user must enter the answer in each text box. And even though I have properties of all TEB "break from legends of success or failure", auto slide advance once the user enters only two of the six responses. I thought that perhaps insert a click box and setting ' to pause until the user clicks on "would resolve the issue... but it is not. Here's a screenshot of what my slide looks like and a screenshot of the properties that I set myself for each TEB. Can someone help me please? I need all six TEB to complete before moving to the next slide.
The most important screenshot is missing: chronology. Where are the pausings for the TEB?
You can start by changing the Actions on the success and the last attempt: they are both set to Continue, which means the playhead will be published immediately after a good response and after exhausting attempts in case of wrong answers. Set them to any Action.
No Submit button? Only shortcut key entry for each TEB?

Hearts game runs too slow to play in windows 7, even on fast computers
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
Ideas: I love playing hearts in windows while I'm waiting on other things to finish. Since installing windows 7, I find hearts so painfully slowly that I can enjoy is no longer. My computer has 2 processors xeon to dual-core @ 3 Ghz and 8 GB RAM with NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500 video card, so I don't think it is hardware related. I have disabled everything I can in the menu options, including animations, but the game is simply too slow to enjoy.

Hello
If you want to use the XP version of games inside Windows 7, it is possible. There is a sticky in this forum which explains how this is done as well, have a look at http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistagaming/thread/21d09aca-8a95-4987-99b6-5270ab64444e.

Windows Live Mail extremely slow
Read your own posts, but they offer no concrete solution.
Windows Live Mail is extremely slow on all actions, such as selection, type, transmission, reception, everything, to the point where it is impractical and unusable.
I have a brand new HP Elite, Windows Vista Home Premium x 64, to this day, virus scanned, etc.. All programs work well, including Windows Mail. But Windows Live Mail service is really too slow to be of any use.
I have not agreed to update to IE8 because of many problems posted with it, that's why I continue to use IE7.
Is there a real fix to the extremely slow problem Windows Live Mail? The plethora of forums and posts on this specific topic, it seems that we, potential users are out of luck. Please advice and correct.
