  My company uses a hosted e-mail service, and I've not found a way to change the incoming mail server, if I can use SSL (criticism for unreliable wifi!).  The SSL certificate raises an error to me every time, and I am sure because "mail.domain.com" eventually returned a real certificate for the actual host name.

  I managed to change the outgoing server, but if it is not possible to change the incoming server, it is a major part of Palm oversight and should be corrected immediately.  This phone cannot be taken seriously for a user in a company without it.

  Try this.

  1 delete the account if you already have it in place
  2. click on add account
  3. in the box enter your address and email password screen select the menu (top left corner)
  4. click on manual set up
  5. change of pop to EAS
  6. 3rd field down is incoming mail server

  Try this...

  Open Windows mail > tools > accounts > your account > properties > general tab > under user information, change the name > OK when done
  Send a test e-mail to yourself. Change ok?

  I need to change the IP address of my Windows DNS servers on the my ESX hosts. I know I can do this through the vsphere client, but that requires a reboot of the servers. Is there a way I can do this via ssh by changing a file that will not cause a restart of the host? If so, please describe how to do this.

  Also, if the host is restarted, what will happen in the virtual machine of in the interval until the host is upward? It will cause the virtual machine to restart as well, or so I have to restart their after that the host is back? I also disabled HA until I did the DNS changes.

  I'm faxes sent on my computer in .tiff format. The program I use to move faxes to records of patients needs to be in .tif format. Can I change this?

  I guess since you asked here in a Thunderbird support forum for these faxes come to you by e-mail and you use Thunderbird.
  Thunderbird offers just your mail. It has nothing to do with the naming of files.
  There is no difference between a .tif and a file .tiff except for the number of characters in the file extension. You can rename the file yourself if your system will not accept the 4-digit extension.
  You can always contact the sender and ask them to change the name before you send it.

• ASA AnyConnect client is unable to obtain the IP address of the remote DHCP server

  I and ASA with 10 client AnyConnect profiles set up to get their IP address of my Windows DHCP server.

  It was working fine yesterday.

  I saved the config and rebooted the device.

  Well, your config looks good. You also upgrade the operating system? Maybe you hit a new bug.

  I heard no problems after the installation of a license, but it might be interesting to open a TAC case and learn if you hit a bug.

• Windows 7 - cannot get the IP address of the DHCP Linux server

  I have several desktop computers and portable computers that have the Windows 7 operating system.  Some have Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home and Windows 7 Professional.

  My network is configured like this:

  Desktop computers > switch > DHCP Linux server > router > Internet

  Laptops > wireless bridge > DHCP Linux server > router > Internet

  Windows 7 Professional does not appear to have a problem with my set up.  It can enter an address IPv4 automatically, wired or wireless.

  Windows 7 Starter and Home cannot obtain address IPv4 correctly, wired or wireless.  If I give the static addresses of these computers, they can access the internet.  If I let them as dynamic, they will constantly try to connect and try to Identifingtwork.

  I want to get my Windows 7 start and home computers to enter dynamic IPv4 addresses of my Linux DHCP server.  Note, I have never had any problem with Windows XP Home or Pro.

  I have a TemplateW2k8R2_10aug2010 (speaks for itself WIndows 2008 R2 with patches ms until August 10, 2010)

  I converted a VirtualMachine

  This new model (TemplateW2k8R2_21okt2010) I can deploy a VM and everything seems ok.

  No I tried to do something stupid, or is this a bug?

  I wanted to check the NIC that we had a name change on the virtual switch and I needed to see if this change has been applied to the model.

  It is a relative new ESXi 4.1 vSphere Client 4.1.0 environment (build 258902) and vCenter Server 4.1.0 (build 258902)

  convert your model to a virtual machine, then leave it until it turned off, make a note of the data store which is saved the.  Then right click, remove from the inventory.  From there browse the data store, do a right-click on the vmx "add to the inventory.  This solve your problem?

  Did you recently changed your password for your e-mail account himself?
  If you do not you can see if your able to connect directly from the domain of the site such as yahoo.com or gmail.com if no, you need to change your password.

  now some users when you are prompted to spend there the password are able to go through the process of implementation of their old password and change to new password but are constantly pushed to repeat the same process.  I don't have any screenshots as of this point of the error, simply users who suffer.  Any information is appreciated.

  I need to add some text in incoming calls dialog box. This dialog box typically displays incoming call name and number when the call comes on the device. I want to show the text in addition to this information on the same screen.

  I tried to show the alert, but dialogue of incoming call has priority max and alert comes so after hanging up the phone.
