MainStage 3.2.3 is copy audio when recording as files

I'm on a Macbook Pro OSX 10.10.3 running.  When I record under, is copying audio files and continuously take up more hard drive space.  The files appear to be associated with a patch of Mainstage stock, as they have "Steinway" in the name of the file. I've already consolidated project so all the samples and EXS files are in the same folder, but the problem presists. No idea how I can stop this from happening?

Select Save as, and then make sure that all boxes are unchecked.

  • Can't hear audio when recording.

    I checked the preferences and I think that everything seems ok, but I can't get a peep out of him. Connection is headphone for pc,

    I also tried pre amp for pc but still nothing.

    As a test, I tried various tests and other freeware audio editing software and I can hear the sound when recording. I just can't hear when using Audition CS5.5

    Uses Windows 7 and hdmi sound through my graphics card. I think there must be a setting somewhere but I don't can not find. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Well, I had a play with the Realtek integrated sound card on my laptop - not my normal way of record - and has been able to monitor the entry as it was recorded.

    I used multitrack view (as one normally do) and the only thing I had to do was click on the 'I' symbol (next to the "M" (mute) (solo) "S" and "R" (arm for record) buttons.)  The 'I' is for the input of the monitor.

    However and this is a big however, on my laptop as soon as I specify the HDMI output, it disables the power supply of my helmet.  I can't try it without re - arrange my house, but I am betting that if I plugged the HDMI output on my laptop to my TV, the sound would be.  But it is certainly not on the headphone output of my computer.  It reappears on the headphones as soon as I select 'speakers '.  FYI, I also have to mess around with matching sampling frequencies since the HDMI is locked to 48 kHz and no digital output is set to 44.1.

    I hope this helps.

  • MainStage retains "Copy Audio files" during save

    Hello

    MainStage guard do "Copy Audio files" then to save it. It copies the audio files temporarily in the concert file and removes them. I don't know why he started to do so. I tried to do a "save under" and set the options in different ways for the project to avoid this but these concerts have done the same thing: whenever I click Save starts copying files and can I have a coffee break.

    Any ideas how to get rid of this behavior?

    I saw a similar topic about the "save under"-it's "Save":

    MainStage 3.2.3 is copy audio when recording as files

    See you soon,.

    When I perform a "Save as", I get a bunch of boxes of digital resources to include or exclude from the backup. See the checkboxes in the gray box at the bottom of the screenshot below.  Leaving the "copy EX instruments in concert" box unchecked prevents MainStage to copy audio files (at least for me.)

    Good luck.

  • CS6: Is he still hear audio when you press on "<" and ">"?

    Hey, I was wondering if there was a way for me to be able to hear my audio when I press on ' < ' and ' > ' (ignore frames)

    It would be beneficial to me when I do the lip sync. Is there anyway to enable audio playback?

    Also this isn't a question of streaming audio, it works very well in the timeline panel. Just no audio not playing when I press on "<" and ">" "»

    OK, just checked, in CS6 the actual location of the Jsfl commands that you see under the orders of MenuItem is here (Windows 7):

    Votre_nom_utilisateur/AppData/Local/Adobe/Flash CS6 / yourLanguage_yourLocale / Configuration / Commands

    1.

    Now copy both this jsfl files in this directory (close Flash he can update the Menu)

    MovePlayheadFwd.jsfl

    Timeline = fl.getDocumentDOM () .getTimeline ();

    timeline.currentFrame = timeline.currentFrame + 1;

    timeline.startPlayback ();

    timeline.stopPlayback ();

    MovePlayheadBwd.jsfl

    Timeline = fl.getDocumentDOM () .getTimeline ();

    timeline.currentFrame = timeline.currentFrame - 1;

    timeline.startPlayback ();

    timeline.stopPlayback ();

    2.

    then edit the names.xml in the same directory and add

    before the closing tag

    3reopen Flash-> the two commands should now be available in the Menu commands

    4if you have never created a personal profile of shortcut, create one by duplicating the Adobe Standard existing in the command window button and name it "PersonalShortcuts".

    5where it shows the hierarchy of your MenuItems Navigate to custom jsfl commands you just added and assign them a shortcut

    6do not forget to click on save/change, so that the shortcut is actually added to your profile.

    When I test on my machine it produces the expected behavior: when I keep the related shortcut rear down he jumps through the timeline with audio streaming "audible."

    Hi GloriaZF,

    What is the size of your external hard drive and what is the available free space? Open my computer-> right click on the external hard drive-> properties. You will not be able to copy more data if the disk is full, or who have less space compared to the size of the file you are trying to copy.

    You need to remove the order data to make the space more. Deleted data from the device USB will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in your Inbox, so take care while eliminating unnecessary data.

  • NO sound when recording Audio - problems with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    I got in trouble for almost a year now with NO sound when recording Audio with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I just found this forum today. It's really weird how recording with windows and other sound recorder works perfectly since 1998 or so until the upgrade to win 7. Now every time I try to record it shows no found recording device or just fails to record any sound. As you'll see below I have activated What U Hear so I can use the system recording features sounds.

    I use the functions of audio recording and pdf reader because I'm legally blind. It is one of the few tools that I could use with ease on all my systems windows for many years.

    A similar question has started happening with nvidia graphics cards. AND... I was led to believe that it was a problem with Sony wanting more strong piracy measures built into windows. Am I correct to assume that this is what is happening with the sound also today or is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

    I run a dxdiag & posted that, according to me, you asked another user on the forum, the same or similar problem.

    Help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this has been a problem for quite a while now.

  • No video just audio when you place them on my time line

    I've been editing with adobe pro CC for awhile first and only today, after upgrading my CC from 9.0 to 10 I had a problem where I have the audio when you put video clips on my time line. For some reason any its not bringing don't not the full file in. I played video clips on another program and they work and its fine and when you drag them in the first pro library, they have the preview and I am able to do scroll the video ok it's just when you place on the time line its not bringing don't not the video with her.

    In looking at some of the clips in the project Panel, they are not showing the icon that indicates there is an audio file on the clip.

    On this line at the top of the page, the miniature of a clip from gopro, central element has no icon in the lower right corner. This is just the video as much as PrPro can see.

    The good article, the tile with two icons below on the right... these icons are first that it is used on a sequence (hovering above him and he'll even tell you how much time it is used) and the second icon, it's that it has linked audio.

    So... is not audio clips, or the way in which it has been imported to the PrPro is not 'see' the audio file linked... or the database/cache is screwed upward. I think that these are the three main options.

    So... using MediaInfo to "see what is inside your media" or play them elsewhere, did sound?

    If so, how do import you them into PrPro?

    Can you make a new project, import the clips and have his "appear" with the clip?

  • Can I stop the slide (text to speech) audio when a legend of quizzes with audio feedback is displayed?

    Hi there, we use text-to-speech on all of our slides, however there is a problem, we have been unable to resolve.  If we have audio on a blade of quiz that this continues to play when the legend of feedback is displayed.  This means that if a learner clicks on the answer quickly, they hear the text on the slide and the text of the caption on top of the other.  How can I stop the slide audio if the legend of feedback is displayed.  We tried shares advanced to "stop audio triggered" and experimented with invisible text captions that have audio added, but have not so far resolved.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? Any help gratefully received, thank you so much Janet

    PS We use 8 Captivate with the installed voices text-to-speech

    It is currently a common problem with audio in modules of Captivate quiz slides.

    The configuration options for interactive objects on slides of quiz does not allow the same level of control for audio playback with normal interactive objects on other slides.  (for example to be able to stop the other audio when the user clicks on something).

    The Audio triggered Stop action is often misunderstood.  But as its name makes clear, it only applies to stop an audio clip that was TRIGGERED by another action of the art.  That does not apply to background sound, slide level audio or audio level object.

    My suggestion is that you return to your design and determine which of the two audio clips (sound feedback or slide) you can do without.  Maybe your learners them useless as much as you think.

    HI -.

    I chose copy VMs when I could have chosen travel.  I deleted the virtual machines in the VM menu but when I add them that it only gives me the ability to move, it repopulated just the virtual machine.  What should I do to re-add-the using moving?  Thank you.

    Welcome to the community,

    "I copied it" assign new UUIDS but also new virtual machine MAC addresses. What you can do is to copy the vmx from the source to the destination again folder.

  • How can I stop audio when you return to slide

    On one of my slides, I have a smart form with click box crept on.  When learners click on the action is: access to another slide.  On the other blade is a close button that navigates back to the last slide visited. When they go back, it restarts the audio.  How can I stop the audio when they return?

    You don't need to click on a smart shape box, it's much better to make a button to the form: http://blog.lilybiri.com/why-i-like-shape-buttons-captivate-6

    Click box has by default a point of suspension at the end of his chronology. If you don't, take a look at accordion Options, where you can uncheck the break.

    A default form button is no break, but you can add a suspension point to the Timing of the shape button accordion.

    A click box, a button, a button of form are intended to trigger an action, they have a break or not. When this action is simple (on the accordion of Actions), and the user clicks top, action will be executed (as something) AND head out of reading, it will continue until the end of the slide, and then go to the next slide. If the action is "Go to the next slide", the images after the suspension point of the form/button/click on the button box will be passed, has not visited.

    Be careful with the navigation to the last visited slide, that you don't get in a loop.

  • How stop the audio when I get out of the frame AS 3?

    Hello

    Could someone find out how to stop the audio when I get out of the AS 3 mounting frame? I had around 20 slides running in a swf file. Each slide has the distinct voice on attached to it. I added slides in a layer and voice in the next layer on the timeline.

    Ago next and previous buttons placed throughout this swf to navigate between slides. This is where the question arises. I can travel easily from 1 to 20 slides and even can return trip. But the voice does not stop as soon as I click on the previous or next buttons. It overlaps with the next or previous voice just above.

    I searched online and suggested its use as channel to bring voices on the slides to have a better control. But honestly I don't know how to do. Could someone help me in doing this? This problem can be very simple for others. As I am a beginner in Flash and Actionscript, it hurts.

    Carry me nicely, if this code seems to be bit annoying and even lenthy :-(

    Thanks in advance.

    If your sound is directly on the timeline, then change to Stream will solve your problem, but you need to change every single audio clip.

    For example if VO #1 plays frame 1 to 100, you click anywhere in this layer (where you can see the audio waveform), go to properties and flow the Sync value. If VO #2 play frame of 101 to 200, you must click somewhere in there and do the same thing. Go to the properties, press the Sync drop-down list and change the event to Stream.

    This isn't a level property 'layer '. This is a property ONLY of audio current under your cursor is in. So if you have 500 your, you need to go to each of them and the value Stream Sync event 500 times.

  • The audio when click box is clicked

    I'm puzzled. I thought that adding an audio file to a click box play audio when it was activated, but he plays just the audio when the slide with the clickbox loading. Seems pretty useless. What I need is the ability to have the audio file play only when the click box is clicked. How can I do this? I don't know that one of you Haiti Captivate have a work around. I have the clickbox executes a Javascript that would play the audio?

    Thank you!

    Jim

    Hi Jim

    This give a try. Change your click box. Click the Options tab and select the success caption. Close the dialog box click Inbox, and then double-click the legend. Configure it with no text and Transparent. This will keep it projection (if you do not want it). Now, click on the Audio tab and assign the audio clip wished the legend of success. Reject and test. The net result would be that you click on the click box, the invisible text caption appears and plays the audio clip.

    Hope this helps... Rick
