Make a loud humming noise after I connected my stereo receiver in the headphones

* loud snoring

I am running windows 7.  I have my stereo receiver connected to my PC via the headphone jack.  When using my desktop, I get a noise loud huming as soon as I plug to the headphone jack.  When using my laptop this doesen't happen.

Hello

I suggest you to go through the following steps and check if it helps.

a. check the connections between the components and make sure they are secure before moving on to the next step. Sometimes connections can cause a hum.

b. the audio to separate the power cables; electromagnetic interference from the power cords can cause a hum stereo. Clamps to fix audio cables away power cables.

c. plug a surge protector at the exit and all components and then plug the surge protector.

d. connect a ground Plug and the surge protector and then plug the ground in the main market. A ground plug is available at any hardware store and turns a connection of three holes in one to two pins. Taken on the ground to eliminate 60 cycle hum.

e. connect the wire of your turntable to the ground on the receiver wire connection. If this does not work, connect the ground wire to a screw on the outlet.

A humming noise is probably material especially if the noise comes from the case. If the problem is related to the hard drive then I would recommend backing up data as quickly as possible. I suggest you to connect with the site of factory equipment and download a hard disk diagnostic test. I also recommend that clear the dust from the system with air canned that could cause problems with the fans, heat and material failure.

  • blue screen and a loud noise after I installed a game

Please can someone tell me why, my computer froze after downloading a trial version of a game from Big Fish Games, then a blue screen with white lettering came to tell me something about the stop and he was accompanied by this horrible vibrating noise! I could not "escape" or do the "control/alt/delete" that the system has frozen right on this blue screen with that noise going. I thought that the pc was going to explode! I finally had to unplug the power cord and remove the battery to get him to stop. I reinstalled the battery and power cord and restarted and it is slow in coming to the top, but with my icons of the game but done and performed normally. I uninstalled this game here, but today when you view a Youtube video, he did it again.

  • Loud buzzing noise VN7 - 791-G [+ audio clip]

For the last two weeks that I had trouble with a very loud hum staticky coming from the lower left corner of my Aspire VN7 - 791 G (left of the Tablet under the keyboard) when the machine is under load (working in game engines and play games, mainly). I've had this laptop for a little over a year and never had this problem before. Side software, everything seems fine, I have not noticed any FPS fall or freezes / crashes or something of the sort. I get an occasional blue screen, but those who are very rare after all drivers and updates to BIOS (power of State failure or something like that).

The hum seems louder depending on the workload. If I close all active programs, the noise tends to remain constant for couple minutes, then he calms down gradually until it is completely silent.

I tried to record the sound, and when I listen to the helmet that looks a lot like the real thing (but not too strong): http://vocaroo.com/i/s1cZvjzHgHs5.

Also: I have not tried to replicate this again, but earlier I was running a game on the battery from the battery by accident. The machine has been completely silent. After awhile, I got a message saying battery was weak, so I plugged in the charger and... instantly, heard the buzz with a maximum volume (not a gradual increase as usual). Could it have something to do with the power save settings perhaps? Or more likely as a material thing?

    Thank you

    So, I have good news...

In a last effort attempt, I decided to open my laptop and remove the front left speaker, because I was almost certain that it is the noise. I unplugged the mobo, unscrewed it and removed from the chassis. I tried all day and I can confirm that the hum is GONE now!

It's kinda something hacky that I have now only 3 speakers instead of 4, but I'm just happy that I am able to reuse this thing in the workplace. CE marking as resolved.

  • Random loud humming?

I had a problem with this here and since the night (30/05/12) last, turn of my computer has been humming along rather loudly at seemingly random intervals. Like one of the fans or something but ive checked the fans and they seem good. Would be - this snoring loud attack any by some type of spyware or malware or virus? Or is it something like my hard drive gets old. Ive had the computer for about five years, and it is at what age the hard drive.

  • p6130nl making noise after installing windows 7?

Hi, I removed from Windows vista and installed Windows 7 (using a custom installation, not 'upgrade', so that the computer has been cleaned), but now it makes a humming noise when turned on. He had always made this noise then boot the system, but generally, it became quiet after the start-up had finished. Now, the noise persists. I already opened to check the fans, but they do not seem to be the problem; the noise continues even when I stop the fans spinning.

What is the problem and how to fix it? It seems strange to me that something like clean the PC (deletion of all programs, etc., do not "clean up" the office itself) and installation of Windows 7 may cause sudden hardware problems...

    Thank you in advance!

I managed to solve it after a night of messing around; installing new drivers did not work whether, since the problem is that it does not load the driver until the video Bios has been updated. And install other windows operating system did not help either, or formatting the drive etc etc etc.

However, ultimately I just value all non-active disk partitions, rebooted the PC and went up in some menus weird (never seen that one before) which forced the office back to factory default (including the "thank you and welcome to your office purched brand-new", lol) and after that everything was done the graphics card acknowledged again and errors stopped. Being curious, I installed Windows 7 once again, and all the problems started once more. After a reset, I installed Windows 7 for the third time, but this time by using "update" rather than clean-install and that seems to work great so far.

So: to assign all non-active partitions, and restart the PC. What he has done for me in the end.

  • after upgrade to macOS sierra cannot connect to citrix receiver apps

I use Citrix receiver apps to make my day to day work. The same citrix apps are also accessible via a web browser (Safari) and everything worked fine until the version IE Capitan.

After upgrade to macOS sierra I can't you connect/launch of citrix apps. I tried with receiver and citrix via web browser as well, but its not connecting.

Is anyone else facing the same issue or know the fix.

Earlier, I thought that maybe some problem of connectivity, but after a lot of troubleshooting it still did not work and shows the same error "failed to initialize." (attached image).

Then clicked on suddenly to mind that I just upgraded my MacBook OS. In order to confirm if his new problem of macOS or anything else, I have installed Windows 10 on vmware fusion and tried to connect to citrix receiver and it worked only! without any operation of additional troubleshooting, it is confirmed that the issue is again macOS.

So as a temporary workaround, you can use virtual windows OS on top of the operating system Mac OS page sierra to launch citrix applications.

But apple needs to fix in the Sierra.

This seems to be, in part, a browser problem.

Have you tried, since El Capitan or Sierra, another browser?

And it would move from Citrix to make their applications compatible with OSX.

    Hi I'm new here

Ive had my laptop for about 2 years and she had a lot of problems - broken screens, dust in the fan, etc.

yesterday I used it as usual when it off completely without warning.
I'm used to is happening because my laptop overheats and turns off like that on a regular basis.

However, when I turned it back on, it makes a high pitched noise that kept getting more high until the laptop turns off again.
I think the noise of the fan.

There was also a slight smell of burning plastic.
My laptop does not turn on and when I plug it in the orange power light does.

PLEASE HELP I HAVE MY ENTIRE ITUNES LIBRARY AND SCHOOL TO WORK THERE

Also last week the hing on one side of the laptop is broken.
The screen still worked and all the wires were still intact

To be honest, all the details do not sound very good...
Everything looks like some causes of serious hardware problem laptop cannot be turned on.
I can't say for sure what the problem is here, but probably the motherboard or the CPU is dead.

In any case, your data on the HARD drive should not be affected, and I guess you could get access to your entire iTunes library. You must remove the laptop HARD drive Bay HARD drive and you will have to use an external USB 2.5 "HDD caddy to connect the HARD drive from the laptop to another computer as an external USB HDD.

This will allow you to move forward and back up the data to another job good HARD drive.

I stopped to receive mail after December 31.  It indicates that the computer cannot connect to my account but when I log in with my password I get the message "this account already exists." How can I get my email account to work again?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan

First of all, make sure that you don't have two accounts with the same address. What happens if one of them is an iCloud account.

From the Mail menu bar, you select

    ▹ Connection Doctor window

In the window that opens, look for an SMTP (outgoing mail) account with a name that corresponds to the account that you are trying to add. Double-click it. Another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. Click the sign button less to remove the corresponding one, and then click OK.

Try to add the email account again. If you still can not, log off or restart the computer, and then open the preferences window accounts Internet and check if the account is displayed.

I own a HP Pavilion G6-2313AX, I bought 4 months ago. The laptop worked very well and I am very happy with it. Hower a problem has arised recently.

My laptop fan makes a humming noise and creates a lot of vibration. It is, as I believe, not a normal behavior. I checked online for solutions and the potential causes. Most of them seem to think that what I need is to get the fan cleeaned.

Now, my question is: should I expect as a result to a computer store, or should I go to a center of HP? It will make me pay so much? I live in India.

Also, is it possible that this is another thing that a fan dirty which is the cause?

just don't push it, no need to open it.

  • How to turn off the message waiting after a connection failure?

    Hello

I'm testing a new login process. Sometimes, I can not connect due to bugs in my procedures.

On the login screen, there is a connection message that makes you wait 5, 10, 15 seconds etc after a connection failure.

I don't want no waiting to connect again.

    I use APEX 5.0.3 with Oracle 11 GR 2

    Best regards.

The connection limit is to reduce the risk of denial of service attacks, and therefore it is not recommended to disable this feature.

That being said, you can turn off the countdown to the instance level and not at the level of the application.  Connect to Oracle Application Express Administration Services. Click manage an Instance from the drop-down list level, and then select Security. Click on the authentication tab, and then under global settings, to 'delay after connection attempts that failed in a few seconds', enter 0 to disable the countdown and allow immediate access.
