Make patches registry?

Hello
I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite T130. I reinstalled (and re-enabled) Win7 x 64. There are four registry patches

From my experience these patches can be installed but are not essential for the good work system.
I downloaded a patch package regpatch - 20091111092833.zip and found in the file TosVolRegulator_x64.exe file.
It looks like a Volume of Toshiba control. Usually this software its share of value added package.
The other patch regpatch - 20091111092706.zip also contain a VAP patch/update info.
Regpatch - 20091111092447.zip is an Audio Patch
regpatch - 20091111092516.zip's Storage Configuration Patch

    CCleaner is a good program.

    BUT its primary pupose is not like a registry cleaner.
    And I still say let this part of the program alone, do other more knowledgeable posters here too.

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/reviews/CCleaner/CCleaner.html

    CCleaner is a tool to clean your system from temporary and unnecessary files that accumulate over time. This includes also rather a cleaning of the traces of Internet and PC use as browser cache, files recently used, websites visited and more. You can select the items you want to clean and also specify cookies that should not be deleted.

    "In addition, the program comes with a scanner to register for references not valid (advanced users) and options to start cleaning automatically or the command line. (Slim version, no toolbar")

    Its main objective, explained above, is good enough to use.

    3.) start the application, make sure that everything is more recent and correct.

  • You are looking for assistance on patch

    Good day to all

    I inherited a 4 cluster nodes with all hosts running ESXi 5.0.0 (721882), I tried to create a new virtual machine with Server 2012 when I discovered that these hosts were not patched in a long time. I am trying to understand the procedure to get the fixes on these hosts and I was wondering if I could get a boost in the right direction. The Update Manager is something I will have trouble enter

    Dear BaghdadIT, you can patch for vmware in two different ways. One is by the Update Manager and another is patching offline.  If you want to patch via Update Manager, your vcenter connected must to internet to download patches (the simplest) and it would be vulnerable to intruders.  Thus, in most of the environment that they prefer to do patching offline. so here are the steps that you can follow to make patch in offline. (1) download the latest patch there is ESX from vmware site to your PC connected to the internet. ( http://www.vmware.com/patchmgr/findPatch.portal 2) copy the downloaded patch (.zip) file in vcenter and from there, you can copy the file to one of your data shared via winscp store or you can use the data store Navigator and download the file method. to patch all hosts, the data store must be visible to all of your host 3) log the vcenter and put the host in maintenance mode (DRS must be activated in order to move the virtual machines automatically another host) 4) connection to the esxi SSH host that you want to patch (if it is not activated activate it via the console or via vcenter) 5) go to the data store and access the sample patch file ((: cd/vmfs/volumes/datastore0/patch datastore0 here is shared and patch data store is the folder name of the file patch 6) run command to install patches example ESXi500-1254542 software esxcli vib install/vmfs/volumes/datastore0/ESXi\ patch/ESXi500 - 1254542.zip - d 5 below) after you run the command you will see the message as below and the system will be restarted the Message: the update has been completed successfully. but the system must be restarted for the changes to be effective.  (6) restart the host, run this command to display your patches esxcli list software vib . more when it is restarted, you might see connectivity lose in Center v. wait a few times and connect back to the host again to the center of v. and exit maintenance mode. Rerun the DRS. that all your patched army. If you have any question here so that our people will give you solutions. Thank you

  • Cannot install updates due to error code 0 x 80246008 and the BITS service is missing from the XP computer.

    Recently, I reloaded a fresh load XP on my laptop.  I was able to install SP3 and IE8, despite not being able to download them directly from the Windows Update site.  I tried several times to install updates, one, five and all at the same time and is unable to install.  I ran Fixit to many times and it says it solves some problems, but no single instance doesn't solve all of them.  I also tried to update after the launch of a clean boot, always to nothing does not.  I see many solutions on this and other Microsoft sites and I tried, but nothing seems to change the results.  FixIt has reported the following:

    Original title: Windows Update will not install on the new load XP

    Hi all

    Thanks for your replies.  Sorry I didn't answer sooner, but he got late last night, and I got to reregister the Qmgr.dll and Qmgrprxy.dll BITS files.

    I clicked Start, click on run and typed the command following, and then click OK:

    Start, run and in the run box, Type regsvr32 qmgr.dll, click OK.
    Start, run and in the run box, Type regsvr32 qmgrprxy.dll, click OK.

    I was then able to start the updates.  There are 124 updates, the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for versions of .NET 2.0 to 3.5 (KB951847) x 86.  He downloaded 124 updates, but even once asked me to insert the disc for qmgr.dll when he was installing the 10th update.  I find the qmgr.dll file again and pressed OK, but it seems to hang forever and do nothing, then I simply cancelled updates and closed during the night.  I have been relieved to have solved the problem of BITS, but is concerned by the hang up on the tenth update installation and he called again for the qmgr.dll file during the installation of updates.

    This morning, when I rebooted, it installed some updates at startup, and I restarted again.  He then held I first install the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for versions of .NET 2.0 to 3.5 (KB951847) x 86 to date.  N BITS issue for that.  It took time, but completed settle.  Restart again and now there are only 21 updates to high priority required.  My guess is that he downloaded all 124 updates last night, but when I cancelled the installation after hanging on #10, he just started to install it again this morning and did so successfully.

    However, when I try to install the 21 remaining, he has not once again, and I find that the BITS service is not in the services again.  After I have re-enter the BITS service and restart it, the downloads are working again.

    I am now what I may need to reinsert and restart the BITS service whenever I need to download an update.

    Ideas, suggestions or comments?  I am slowly solve problems and if I persist, I can get this all taken care.

    Hi Dan,.

    From what you wrote, I understand where you are getting confused. Here are the steps to follow to solve this problem.

    Open the Windows search tool, copy / paste the following text, and then click Search: qmgr.dll

    Research should show this file in the following locations:

    C:\Windows\System32
    C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\bits

    I hope they are all present, follow these steps to register the service.

    Click on start, run and copy/paste: regsvr32 qmgr.dll and click OK
    (If you do not have the command run in the start menu, hit the Windows key + R, instead)

    Do the same with this file: regsvr32 qmgrprxy.dll and then restart.

    Here are the next steps.

    Copy / paste this command in the field to run, and then click OK
    %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe setupapi, InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\inf\qmgr.inf

    Windows will launch a dialog box asking you to insert the Windows installation CD. Ignore this and change the way downstairs to C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

    The reason to change the path to the i386 folder is that the files that are there are newer than those on the Windows installation CD.

    Then restart the PC again and continue with the rest of the troubleshooting steps.

    Click on start, run and copy/paste the following and click OK: services.msc

    You should now be able to see the Background Intelligent Transfer Service, or just "BITS" displayed in the list of Services.

    Double click it to open BITS and then click on the Start button. This is just a test to make sure that it works correctly.

    If you get 2 error: cannot find the specified file, click on start, then run again and copy / paste the following command, and then click OK:
    Tracking Add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BITS\Parameters /v ServiceDll /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d %windir%\System32\qmgr.dll

    Restart then try and start the BITS.

    If you get the same error again, copy / paste the following text in the field run and click OK:
    Reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\BackupRestore\FilesNotToBackup

    Reboot once more and then try and start the BITS.

    Let me know how you please.

  • Reinstall XP (box set) w / updated version and keep the settings?

    My old installation of XP Professional (ver 2000 / SP1 retail box) is not working properly.  Hundreds of antivirus, fixes Registry scans, updates and several hard drive card mother upgrade and later I lost some basic features *.  Can I reinstall XP using a downloaded newer version (SP3) using my old key (commercial box version) and keep all my settings?  I remember that I did this a few years ago and had to rebuild all the updates, but I got what I needed.  Now when I try, the same original disk says that I must start over costs and versions are not compatible.  Also, where is the best place to get the installation files?

    A most annoying things is the delay huge opening files.  Some never open and I get a message unable to find the file, that I just clicked?  I reinstalled all affected programs (like Office 2003 / Excel) and there is no improvement.

    Interesting responses.  I was not on top of the issue of IE, but it makes sense.  It has been a few years, but I remember that the successful repair XP restored my IE and I've had to update again, but he did not screw up the repair.  I think that IEv7 was in use at the time.  I am currently on IEv8.

    My restore points do not rise close enough to fix all of this and the last one I tried (up to a point a week or so prior) failed.  3rd party patches registry improve some things, but not all.

    I have the original disc of the 2002 version of the retail box.  No download version.  I was hoping to find one online as I did for S7 in my newsroom.  For this installation, I bought a key provider of Microsoft and it worked fine.

    Maybe I'll start a couple of new threads for specific problems.

    You can troubleshoot your installation with the following resources:

    When I go to control panel > Add Remove Programs: adobe reader 9.1.3 is 138 MB and when I click on remove this product: the patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.

    (2) I installed revo unistaller and have not yet learned how to use it.  That's what I need to uninstall reader 9.1.3 or is there something I need to download in order to then use Add Remove programs and it uninstalled?

    I tired the download/install with a different browser (Safari) and he knew during initialization, downloading and installing please wait while Windows configures Adobe Reader X (10.1.1) then mandatory collection of information then time remaining dry 0 with all the blue squares.  Set up necessary to restart your system you want to reboot now?  I have choseno and when I saw Adobe Reader Installer it had Adobe Reader Installation failure unknown error 96% then I chose the finish.  He then produced one of the facilities requires a reboot.  You want to make now.  I'll choose Yes and have it reboot.

    What happened with the intall with Internet Explorer attempt that he had failed.  If Adobe Reader X installs with Safari and PDF files open with this browser uses Adobe Reader X PDF files open with Internet Explorer using Adobe Reader 9.1.3?  I would have just a version of Adobe Reader and do not have the hard drive space.

    I'll reboot now and see what happens.  What comments would you make about what to do if installation fails for Adobe Reader X and what comments can you make on how to uninstall Adobe Reader 9.1.3 too in addition to any other commentary on the problem of installing.

    I was able to solve this problem with the inability to uninstall adobe reader 9.1.3 and this program is now uninstalled by displaying the control panel > Add Remove programs.

    It happened by chance using a battery of Microsoft Fix its.  To tune up my computer I fell one fix after another and then found one that Troubleshoots installation and uninstallition problems.

    # The use of the Witch of the imagex tool is a command line tool, located in the directory your recovery partition tools and explained in the WAIK kit and on the Microsoft Support online help. A good idea is the imagex command /?.
    # Use the imagex tool and join the stormwater management files in the directory root of your recovery partition in a file wim in one of your previously created directories. ------Open the command prompt and use the command: ' imagex/export path\first.swm 2 directory\named.wim banker path\ * .swm "-where first.swm is the file management of rainwater without number, in my case, a file named xxxx.swm. The second file is named xxxx2.swm. 2 is the image to be saved, named.wmi is the name of your attached image file and path\ * .swm is the path to all the files in your directory of recovery stormwater management.
    # Now to mount the wim with the imagex tool file in your directory of a second. ------On the command prompt, use this command: directory of imagex/mount path\name.wmi 1. ------Where path\name.wmi is the path and name of the file created in step four. You have saved the image in step 4, is the only image to mount. Directory is the path to the mountain where you will find the directories for the next steps.
    # Now you will find in this directory a folder Toshiba. Expand this folder, and go to Drivers\BTOAPP. The subfolders contain all the installation files for the applications that you can not download from Toshiba. Record everything you need in a safe place for later use.

    Reverence English for the imagex tool:

    Now, you download the necessary drivers and software side Toshiba and also to store them in a secure location.
    As my G50 comes with two disks, I stocked up on the second disc. You can also use any USB storage device.

    If you want to use a Media for the Media Center Extender, installing fingerprint software to get the driver for the sensor and uninstall it. This software prevents the Extender to connect to your media library.

    Now, install the applications according to the needs in alphabetical order. You'll miss the DVD player. Do not install from your old sources, it will fail. Download and install it to a Satellite Pro S300. Then, run the update DVD player check tool. This will take you to a download from Toshiba. Download and install this, it's a silent installation. After, you have a HD DVD player using the HD processor and the switch "upconvert".

    WOW! Very useful and long display
    I think it may be very interesting for others with Qosmio G50 unit.

    Thanks for sharing this with us!

  • RTE de LV cannot open the project files that include references .lvlib in dependencies

    I am writing a DLL LabVIEW to inspect the LabVIEW project files, and I noticed that if a project has a .lvlib reference in its dependencies, then the Run-Time Engine is contradictory on whether or not he can find the project file:

    • Project.Open returns error 7 (file not found)

    • Project.GetFileLVVersion is a success

    Here are some excerpts from my code of G and C engaged in this behavior:

       int openStatus = StatusSuccess;
    char * projectVersion = createStringWithLength (VersionStringLength);

    printf ("Analysis %s\n", pathchaine);
    OpenProject (pathchaine & openStatus, projectVersion, VersionStringLength);
    printf (" project written in LabVIEW %s\n", projectVersion);

    If (openStatus is StatusSuccess)
    {
    printf (" Open the project file.") \n") ;
    }
    on the other
    {
    printf("Error: could not find Project file, or file was not a Project file (Error code %i).\n», openStatus);")
    }

    However, when running in the development environment, the two methods are successful.

    Is this a bug, and if so, is it fixed in 2014 of LabVIEW?

    Here's how you can reproduce:

    Prerequisites:

      1. LabVIEW 2013 SP1 32-bit

      2. ConEmu for a good console- https://code.google.com/p/conemu-maximus5/wiki/Downloads

      3. minGW for compilation of a program to use the LabVIEW - http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files DLL

    reference .lvlib to break dependencies Project.Open in LV RTE

      1. Open the attachment in a temporary directory (e.g. c:\xtra\temp)

      2. Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in LabVIEW.

      3. Build 'Open library project'.

      4. ConEmu with a bash command prompt, navigate to the temporary directory.

      5. Type make

    $ make
    patch the file "builds/platdefines.h.
    GCC - std = c99 g OpenProject.c o OpenProject.exe - lOpenProject - Lbuilds

    6. type "c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj" OpenProject

    OpenProject $ 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj '.
    Analysis c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj
    Project written in LabVIEW 13.0
    Open the project file.

    7. the opinion that both call nodes execute correctly.

    8. type "c:\xtra\temp\OpenProjectWithLvlibDep.lvproj" OpenProject

    OpenProject $ 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProjectWithLvlibDep.lvproj '.
    Analysis c:\xtra\temp\OpenProjectWithLvlibDep.lvproj
    Project written in LabVIEW 13.0
    Error: Could not find the project file or file was not a project file (error code 7).

    9. notice that the node version managed while the open failure.

    Here's another way to trigger this behavior, which shows that LabVIEW occasionally Range the element dependencies:

      1. Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in LabVIEW.

  • Add to the project a new VI and place the constant path of file "Application Directory" his block diagram.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)" and use the default name for the new VI.

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice that there is a mistake once again, as is expected.

  • Remove the "Application Directory" path of file constant

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Note that the problem has disappeared, as is expected.

  • Add the "Application Directory" path of file constant in the block diagram.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice there is no problem, which is surprising, because that there should be a mistake because the dependencies item was not tidy.

  • Close the new VI and pull out of the project.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in a text editor.

  • Note that the dependencies item was put away.

  • Add VI back to the project.

  • Select ""leader "Save All (this project)"

  • Type 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj' OpenProject

  • Notice that there is a mistake once again, as is expected.

    The same behavior occurs in LabVIEW RTE: a new project with a constant of the Application in an empty vi directory will return an error 7 - file not found, but still return the correct version of LabVIEW in which the project was created.

    I did experiment with workarounds for this problem, and I found a.

    When I used to get the path of LabVIEW libdir in the ini of the executable file, execution is able to load and inspect the project file.

    LIBDIR = 'C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2013'

    While it is expected that a stand-alone executable can be placed on a system that does not have the LabVIEW IDE, it is still surprising to me that the execution engine cannot find standard library of LabVIEW without some explicit guidance. What other factors contribute to this behavior?

  • Cluster vs multiple Shift Registers

    I had a question about good coding practices.

    Say you have several elements (numeric values, strings,... whatever) you need to iterate between the loops.

    Is it better to make a registry change for each item?
    Or cluster, and then move the cluster to a single shift register?

    It is faster than the other? Or better/worse for another reason?

    Cory,

    Yes.  and no.

    I usually create a large cluster of typedef I call indicators and flags (InF).  I put most of the things that need to be passed around with that.  The cluster of error, the State enum and large data tables are usually in separate shift registers.  Table L: shift registers and data are at the top of the loop and error and SRs of the State are at the bottom.  Most of the code goes between them.  Given the help of bundle/Unbundle documents name to which the data is used in a case.  The InF cluster is usually not displayed on the Panel before and may exist only in a Subvi to save space of block diagram.  The data are unbundled indicators as needed for display to the user.

    If you have a situation where speed is concerned, separate data that must be processed everything quickly and optimize for that.  Strings and arrays within the cluster probably cause some memory interesting distribution issues since they change size, that can be an argument in favour of that separates them.
