  I just have a modem and use a router. I have a network cable (cat 5) connected to my laptop and the modem. I have log-on internet and it connects. But when I open Google Chrome, IE9 or Firefox I can not load a web page. Google mentions something about the DNS cannot be found and DNS_Probe_Finished_No Internet.Frefox says server not found.

  I click on the Menu start - Connect To - I am logged in. I already typed my password in the command prompt and appropriate the pppoe connection/address (I use ADSL).

  I talked to my ISP and we tried to do certain things. But nothing works. On their end, it shows that I am connected. But I can't browse the internet. We tried to have the DNS and IP address for ipv4 set to obtain automatically and I put 2 numbers of DNS in manually once the settings have been changed to the favorite servers and DNS auxiliary, or worked.

  Using command prompt, the DNS has been emptied. It did not help. The modem has been reset the ISP location. I also recreated and set up a new network connection.

  My office is using the same pppoe information. I can freely browse the internet and I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I was also shown to be connected simultaneously with both machines, but that the Office can go.

  I do not have Windows Update the laptop since on April 2016. It has not been used and the battery was empty. I tried to turn off the laptop several times, but nothing works.

  I recently bought a Photosmart 5515.  I was very pleased with it but I can't seem to take full advantage of the automatic duplex function.  I was able to turn it on, but the second page keeps printing backwards.  I read on other topics on the 'compulsory' solution, but it does not work in my case.

  As a temporary fixture, I flip all even pages in reverse, but which can be very annoying for longer documents.  So I was wondering if there was a fast and automatic way to solve this problem.

  I hope someone can help me with this mystery.

  I've added a top-level page on my site and verified in preview mode. Looks like a lot. Everything works fine. But when I published, the menu bar leads me to a page not found error.

  So I recorded the site in html format that downloaded on my server. Still the same problem. Then I created a page with a different name duplicate and returned through the whole process, but it is also not found.

  I don't think it's a hosting issue because all my other changes are displayed instantaneously.

• Pages of weird problem moving around

  Well, I'm completely stumped.

  I have a 350 page book, divided into 12 documents. It is a recipe book, individual recipes are all one or two pages each. I needed to reorganize the revenues - move some around a document. others, that I needed to move from one document to another. A simple task, I thought.

  Inside the document, I moved to pages using the method drag in the Pages window. Everything was going well. But when I tried to move a single recipe of two pages of a document to another by using the function "move page", things got very strange. The pages that I moved went straight into their new home. But when I tried to remove them from their original location, he scrambled all the pages that I had just reorganized. Some disappeared completely. The pages that I just tried to delete really just moved to a new location in the original random document and did not stay together.

  I looked in the editor mode, I discovered that that the editor was concerned, the pages that I had moved by dragging had not REALLY moved. They were still in their original locations. But they HAD moved in all other ways - visually, paging-wise, etc.. I went back to a version recorded and tried to delete the recipe of thugs in the editor. Same effect of interference to other pages. I tried to delete a paragraph at a time and discovered that the recipe that it I had tried to remove had a very small code at the end of each of the pages that has proved to be the source of the problem. Remove this code and chaos ensues. I can't tell what the code is or does or if it's a bug or a feature or what.

  I'm sure I must have done something wrong when I put it in place, but what the hell am I supposed to do now? Surely InDesign allows you to move pages.

  Rather than the script frame break, you can really use the SplitStory script, which will break all the frames on the threads.

• Page auto numbering problem if I export to PDF

  I use IDS 5.5 with all updates. I set up a book and when I export to PDF for print, fourth chapter numbering remains the same (namelly pages 56 and 57) although I have implemented correctly master pages with the special character of AutoNumber. If I export only this chapter as a document, it exports all right. No problem with the numbers of the pages (?). In ID, the numbers look ok. I have not tried to print directly fron ID, I guess it will print ok, but it's a very strange behavior... Thanks much for any thoughts.

  It is unlikely, that there is a problem with Acrobat, try opening this chapter only and exportingit to idml, then resave as indd.
