Making screen shared to Windows Movie Maker

I have Windows 7 and I'm trying to do a split screen video, so I can demo side, what a single version of a product made and performs in comparison with another product, do the same thing. I can't find in the transitions or effects to do. I have VirtualDub, but does not have the command line to make a split screen. Any ideas or is this not possible? I know that this could be done in the old version of Movie Maker and I tried to install it without success, even with some of the plug-ins.

Just found out that it does not work: xD

Better to try a software better

Original title: technical problems with Windows Movie Maker

I tried to make a video using Windows Movie Maker, but the program guard making it to where I can't use it.  I just changed the audio clips and video and all of a sudden, the preview turned black screen and when I press the play button, nothing happens.  I have no idea how to fix this, but if I restart the program or even my computer, the situation does not change.  Basically, the play button does not work.  Any ideas on how to fix it? My project is due for school tomorrow...

I tried fixing video filters using the link you provided, but that did not help.  I finally found the problem, however.  I was using a MOV file, which apparently tends to have problems when you put it in Movie Maker, so I converted the files of a different type and they works perfectly.  Thanks for your help!

    Hello.

The clips are a gesture of challenge of the .avi files, but when I put them in Windows Movie Maker, they turn into audio files for some reason any! :(

Open the Device Manager by following the steps in the first link I provided in the previous answer, and then expand the graphicsoption. Your graphics driver is listed under this category. If you double click the driver that is on the list, it will open the driver properties dialog box. You can go to the driver tab it and then click on the option to restore the drivers to roll your graphics driver back and see if this helps you.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the driver from there. To reinstall the driver, you will need to download it from the website of the manufacturer of the computer.

    It will be useful.

  • screen black in published movie in windows movie maker?

OK, so I spent hours doing this video, with various videos of my last day of school. They are all from the same camera and suddenly under parameters of same, the problem is though, that after I have publish the movie, only a PART of the video is black screen, but with the audio, even after working perfectly in preview mode in Windows Movie Maker. In addition, it should be noted that the more time that I try to save the movie, more videos become black.

What does that mean?! and how can I solve this problem?

I'm not altogether clued the computer language or how they work, so yes im stressing because this video took me hours!

Here's what I have now... If this is useful, it starts to go black around 8.55.

  • Windows Movie Maker: Small video and green screen

I've been taking videos on Movie Maker for quite awhile and I've never had a problem until today. I've got this show that I have edited. The preview reading is perfectly fine and everything works normally and then I publish. Publication is going smoothly, but something must of happened between this amount of time, because the video is now scrunch all upward on the top (its dimensions are now all distorted to extend over the screen to halfway) and on the bottom half there is just a green screen. It occurs only after the publication. I tried to change an option that I use when publishing... did the same thing. Then I thought maybe it was some kind of title effect I used... it's not. I tried to delete all the effects on my thing and editing like that... This isn't the problem. The only thing that could be a problem, it's that it's a different file, then I usually use I think that... I had like a torrent file, but when I look, it works well and is not. So I do not understand... any suggestions?

  • Windows Movie Maker is no longer allows Me to send my movie on the Web. It goes directly to the Final screen

In the past, after I created my film, I would be taken through a series of steps to send my film on my MyDeo account.  Now, Windows Movie Maker is without going through these steps and do not let me send my movie on the web and does not let me save the file on my computer for downloading to other Web sites.  How to make the functioning of Windows Movie Maker - sending the restored Web?

    Hi high5clive,

We recommend that you try to send a file from different movie on the web and check if all options are available.

See Save your movie to the Web

If the problem persists, run SFC (System File Checker) scan to find and repair missing or corrupt system files.
    a. Click Start, click Run, type cmd and click ok.
    b. at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow and press ENTER.
    c. If you are prompted, enter the Windows XP CD in order to complete the scan.
Note: The version of the service pack on CD must match the version of the service pack installed on the computer.
    d. restart the computer and check the difference.

See the Description of Windows XP SFC scan
