Malware slows down my computer in Flash Player

So my Macbook was slow when running Safari, and I discovered that Adobe Flash player allowed to run malicious programs. I was searching for all the Flash cookies which was stored on Flash and found that some were harmless such as Youtube (s.ytimg.com) and other areas but I had also looked at other areas and I found secure.insightexpressai.com who are suspected of malware and I can feel my computer going more slowly when it appears. I tried to block access to these suspicious areas but after a few days or more, the block has disappeared and that it allows the malware to run again. I went to the Apple store and they told me to use ClickToFlash. I don't want to install this software because I like Safari that way. I also asked permanently remove areas of the terminal, they said I could use Nano. I am running the latest version of Flash player and I do not have my Safari to the latest version. What is your recommendation to keep my MacBook malware free? I would like to consider using Terminal Server, but I have to make sure that nothing will not (maybe useful links to familiarize themselves with the Nano if it is recommended). Insightexpressai.com is also in my cookies from Safari and it reappears after removal, which could be a reason why it runs in Flash shortly after. I went on the Adobe Web site and they offer nothing in terms of aid and it's been weeks and I have no response from message boards. What do you think I should do?

I played Command and Conquer 4 on my computer very old. It can be played, but the graphics are bad and it is very slow. If I continue to play the computer may crash. So I had planned to play on my new computer. But my parents do not allow that. Reasons are

    1. Games can have viruses.
    2. Viruses can hack into my computer and get information, such as bank accounts. (I installed Bitdefender 2010 IPSec)
    3. Games make my computer unreliable and slow.

Can you check for me if these reasons are true. I know too many games running at the same TIME will be a slow computer. But what happens if my requirements meet the minimum requirements for the games, it slows down the computer? Also, I defrag and cleaning my PC regularly so do not understand that my computer will do to appear slowly over a short period of time (1 year).

Hello TechKid.  Feel free to forward this message to your parents *.

    (1) their original CD-ROM or DVD-ROM games will not have the virus.  Back in the olden days where game was on a disk that it was possible that a set of second hand could have been infected, simply because the disks could be written after the fact.  Actually I've ever met.

    (2) a bit, (but still once falsely assume original games of detail will virus), in practice, they are much more wet than that.  Decent anti-malware and ensuring your machine and all the software connected to the internet is updated will solve this problem.

    (3) not true.  While the game is running, they are obviously fewer resources for other things.  But once the game has been closed it will not use all of the system resources.  In regard to making them unreliable, more wrong.

    * It won't do anything, they don't want to play you games on this machine, they will come with any excuse for this purpose.

Anyway on this system, I think that you should always keep the graphics on their low settings, the graphics card is a budget card, not suitable for games.

  • How to find files that are slowing down my computer

I saw crazy files but I don't remember where I saw them.

I saw crazy files but I don't remember where I saw them.

Generally files, in itself, is not slowing down your computer.  Just to have files on your hard disk (because it is not completely filled) means very little - this is when things run / run they can cause problems.

How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

Whenever the Windows Update automatic update Client runs, it significantly slows down my computer.  For this reason, I put automatic updates updated Fridays @ 03:00, so that I'm not on my computer and it should not cause me any hassle during the working day.  However, this is not the case.  It's a Tuesday afternoon and I have wuauclt.exe now works and has downloaded the updates and continues to ask me to install the updates.  It is difficult to run the programs I need for running the job with that.  I've closed several times by the Task Manager: processes tab and it will not be closed.

How to stop popping up and running ONLY at 03:00 on Friday?

Sorry for not responding earlier but I never received a notification of any more responses about this until today .

My preference would be to make manual updates on the site, so I won't warn me, warn me or come at all.

As Mike has already said, if your on a domain network, you must ask the Admin on how the system is updated.
If it isn't and you are the person who updates it, then you have to turn off the automatic updates service and set THE " disable automatic updates. I want to update my computer manually. "

When you are ready to update, and this includes to restart the system so that files that are used can be replaced, and then start the automatic updates service before either visiting web sites Windows or Microsoft Update.
Security updates are issued the second Tuesday of each month; No updates for Windows security are issued the 4th Tuesday of each month.

However, this will prevent the installation of any out of band, critical security updates unless you watch ( the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), search for the Microsoft TechNet security bulletins or the pages of Description of Software Update Services and Windows Server Update Services changes in content for 2010 .

I have no personal experience, since I never have more than a dozen or messages in my Inbox, but it is so likely. OT: Long-running Script.

I have a Windows 7 laptop. I get the message that I have a script of long-term slow down my computer. What exactly is that and how it stop?

Could you give a little more detail please, if possible. For example when these pop-up messages? you're in a browser (Internet explorer?) when they occur, or do they appear just when you have nothing open on your desktop?

IF they pop up when you use Internet Explorer, have a read of this to see if it gives indications - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/308260 (unfortunately, it's pretty long).

Alternatively, you can try to disable the IE script debugger, but maybe it's more to hide the fault rather than fix, assuming it is useful at all.

Open IE, tools, Internet Options, [Advanced] tab, click on "Disable Script debugging (IE) press OK, close IE and re - open it to see if its helped." There are also "Disable script debugging (other) to try to see if that helps." If they do not help, reset them.

If this doesn't help not or if you need further assistance, please post back and someone will try to help.
