Management of XML FILES

Hye guys,.

I'm doing some more advanced actions in XML files also creation and deletion of sections (or display).

I was wondering how I could MOVE a section in the XML file,

for example I say I want to spend OP1 which is virtue ATP after OP2 whice is in another section under CPU:

I've never tried, but I guess that CVIXMLCopyElement with the CopyChildren = TRUE followed CVIXMLRemoveElement option will work.

• Manage the XML files in the workspace tool

Hello

I developed a workspace tool that was working until I have add the report XML file IO > XML > XML Parser.

I can't add any VI of this palette to my worksapce tool. I get an error when trying to open the workspace tool if one of these screws is inside my tool.

The error is:

In my workspace tool, I need to open/create/modify and save XML files.

I am in a position to use property nodes and node invoke for this type of files. And I already replace all screws of NI_XML.lvlib for nodes of property and call the nodes. But there are 2 screws that actually, I'm still unable to find the solution for them.

Who are the NI_XML.lvlib:New.vi and the NI_XML.lvlib: Close .vi, because they are protected by Word.

Anyone has idea how to solve this problem?

I noticed a few screws of this palette XML using a dll. For example the first matched NI_XML.lvlib:Get Node.vi this interior uses the DOMUserDefRef.dll.

I saw this dll functions and there is a for close, which might be the one they use inside the Close.vi. The function is DUXDocumentClose.

I need this because you cannot close a XML reference with close Reference.vi.

I need to replace the 3 screws

You can do it in the manner that main vi is only as .vi. Dependencies must go to llb in the same folder as vi main.

You can look at some of the tools here: https://github.com/NIVeriStandAdd-Ons/

• Logging.XML file resets after you restart the managed server

Hi all

I modified the logging.xml file because I implemented a Logger.But ADF custom after you restart the server, SOA, logging.xml file get automatically back to the unmodified state, all this means that I modified was not.

Am I missing something?

Please suggest!
Kind regards
Shah

Hi Shah
In the EPS group, usually there is a set of Configuration files are synchronized to all of AdminServer breaks the run. A simple example is like file config.xml and some files of data sources, files, ldap, etc. Whenever we reboot the Soa or bam managed servers, they go to AdminServer and obtain a copy of these files. So, if you make any changes directly on the managed server computers, then can be is getting crushed when you restart the servers. Check the timestamp of all these files. Make the changes on the side means Admin on the machine where you have AdminServer running. If all goes well, soa/bam should get these files at startup.

Thank you

• [Database Toolbox] possibility to Load From xml file in Labview and then in the database

Before you write in my database, I want to save it and reload if the user wants to cancel the new charge that can last several minutes.

If he cancels the load I get back my previous database data.

I managed to save my database in XML through the "DB tools SaveRecordSet To File" VI. This VI records directly contains my database table in the xml file. And finally, I only if the other VI to load file will do the same thing, means load the file and save it in my database but it gives just a recordset in labview.

Question: is it possible just to load the xml file into the database directly through Labview?

Why, finally, these screws do not have the same behavior?

I don't know, but I just thought I would chime, that if you fail to do with LabvIEW, you might want to look by making your writing in a 'Transaction' database, if your DBM takes in charge (most except MS Access)

• XML file works only with XmlDataModel

Hi all

I'm developing a simple picture viewer using the online service www.imgur.com. It's going to be free and without advertising that allows using the normal API pretty easy. I followed the tutorials on the dev site to send an http request and receive the response. I managed to do all that finding, but I'm stumped trying to apply the http response in my ListView.

The response is an XML file, but with child elements rather than attributes for more information. I tried to get my response working with the tutorial here:

Networking Dev BlackBerry tutorial

more specifically, this part of the code

// Create the data model using the contents of the file. The
// location of the file is relative to the assets directory.
XmlDataModel *dataModel = new XmlDataModel();
dataModel->setSource(QUrl("file://" + QDir::homePath() + "/model.xml"));

// Set the new data model on the list and stop the activity indicator
mListView->setDataModel(dataModel);

But I can't work. I read from different people (but not confirmed what whether doc) that the XmlDataModel cannot be used with child element type XML files? If so, can someone point me in the direction of the conversion of an XML attribute type?

The DataSource object can manage lists XML child element, and it manages the query part of network too. It is however quite limited in its ability to manage structures complex multi-level, so it may or may not be suitable for your use. Without an example XML file, I can't say for sure if DataSource would deal with it, but it's probably something worth investigating.

• Cannot find the config.xml file

Hi all

I searched the forum and google my problem with no luck. I hope someone here can help me.

On my Windows XP VM, I try to use Packager WebWorks to compile a file to archive. Whenever I do, I get "archive invalid - cannot find the file config.xml. Of course, my zip file has a config.xml file.

While trying to fix it myself, I downloaded the sketchpadStandard.zip of the sample and could only compile without error. I extracted the file and re-compressed it and got the error "cannot find the config.xml file. I used the utility of windows XP, I downloaded winzip and used this utility, I used my mac to compress the file. Whenever * I * do, I get the error.

Obviously, package manager works, and I'm in the right directory that I'm able to compile the provided sample Archives, but why the hell can not compile the VERY SAME FILES I checked myself?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

After several hours of experimentation, I finally load the mac version of the SDK directly on my mac, rather than the version of windows on my virtual Windows machine. I did the fix here would solve the same problem on a mac and it worked.

• IKEv2 - xml file and the host name

Hello world

Ikev2 anyconnect works very well in the PC.

Xml file in c\programs data\profile PC hostname say anyconnect_ikev2.

Under the ASDM - anyconnect profile I changed the host name to say xyz.com.

Then PC I tried to connect again and found that the connection has been established and the hostname under xml view profile: PC go to xyz.com.

Need to know how the PC has managed to connect even if the host name has changed?

Concerning

MAhesh

Mahesh,

The client connects to the base on the HostAddress profile field.

Host name, is what is used to populate the drop-down list and identifies the connection in "plain language." Although it is often the COMPLETE domain name, it doesn't have to be.

When a user makes the connection, one of the things that happens is that any changes in profile on the ASA is pushed to the locally stored user profile.

Thanks in advance.

It shows the error in the XML parser. Please validate your XML code for proper syntax. You might have missed some closing etc tags.

Also make sure that this declaration of refreshservlet and his mapping is appropriate in your web xml.

I searched the support of oracle in this regard. In one mentioned to modify the config.XML and add either encrypted or clear text.

I don't know how to change the file and that all entries have to be changed. I enclose the config file. Could you please suggest me.

Kind regards

Prates

What doc id you are referring to? If you need to replace the password encrypted with password plain text in the config.xml file, just edit it with a text editor and replace the values starting with {ESA}.

• Loading the XML file with the missing elements dynamically by ODI

Hi guys,.

I have the XML with two nodes Employee and address below. On a daily basis, sometimes the address element might not come from the source xml file, but my interface has columns mapped to the elements of the address, and that is why it may fail because of the source element is not found in the file or data could not get charged because the State 'and' in the sql query that is generated between the employee and address elements. Is there a way where I can load the data dynamically where I can search in the file only for items (used) present and dynamically loading data only for these items?

XML file:

<? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

< EMP >

< Empsch >

< employee >

< EmployeeID 12345 > < / EmployeeID >

< original > t < / initials >

John < name > < / LastName >

DOE < FirstName > < / name >

< / employee >

< address >

< > 12345 as WorkPhone < / as WorkPhone >

< WorkAddress > test 234 < / WorkAddress >

< / address >

< / Empsch >

< / EMP >

Thank you

I managed to solve it by using left outer joins, and in referring to the structure of the table of the XSD

• Vs. runtime vs. ViewObject ViewObject SQL query in the xml file.

Hello

I wonder what is the difference between query SQL in the long term, creating a view object in the duration and the creation of a display with an XML object.

I'm not trying to have the result set cached just to pick once.

My code for a creation of a view in a run-time object:

HashSet<Integer> allPersonIdThatUserHasAccessTo = new HashSet<Integer>();
AppModuleImpl am = (AppModuleImpl)ADFUtils.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("AppModuleDataControl");

String sqlStr = "SELECT up.person_id FROM user_person up where up.user_id = " + userId;
ViewObjectImpl vo = (ViewObjectImpl)am.createViewObjectFromQueryStmt("AllPeopleUserHasAccessToVo", sqlStr);
vo.executeQuery();
RowSetIterator rsi = vo.createRowSetIterator(null);
while (rsi.hasNext()) {
Row personRow = rsi.next();
Integer personId = ((BigDecimal)personRow.getAttribute(0)).intValue();
allPersonIdThatUserHasAccessTo.add(personId);
}

rsi.closeRowSetIterator();
vo.remove();

When should I use SQL query, when the view object use at time of execution and time to create the view object to an xml file?

In general you should not write this code in a managed bean. Access code or in your case creating a VO belongs behind the façade in the module of the application.

You can create the original Version, but the main difference is that it takes more time. Code everything that the definition of VO created in the data model of the application module would make too and it clears directly after the query only to create the same code again the next time you call the method.

If the goal is not to keep the data, you can create the hashset class and call executeEmptyRowSet() on the VO (https://blogs.oracle.com/smuenchadf/entry/what_does_executeemptyrowset_d for details). This way you only need a VO that takes a parameter and gets you the same result in less time.

• Audition CC 2014 Newbie - corrupt/not taken in charge. XML file?

Hello

I use a 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7 Macbook with 16GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 memory. I sent an audio sequence of first Pro CC 2014 2014 CC hearing and met the following error: (.xml) file is damaged or not supported. Can someone provide suggestions to correct the error or a link to a similar post with the solution?

Thanks for the review!

Scrap that I managed to open the XML file... by dragging the file XML in Windows Explorer at bottom to audition worked.

... He didn't just not automatically open it directly from first :/

• How to treat an XML file that uses html characters?

I need to shoot a userlist to my web application, and which means to invoke a web service on the authentication server. I managed to do exactly that, but the XML file, that I give myself to face looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<soapenv:Body><ns1:getAllUserInfoResponse soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:ns1="http://web.ws">
<getAllUserInfoReturn xsi:type="soapenc:string" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
<?xml version = '1.0'?>
<USER>
<ROW num="1">
<USER_ID>25214</USER_ID>
<LOGIN_ID>JDOE</LOGIN_ID>
<NAME_LAST>JOHN</NAME_LAST>
<NAME_FIRST>DOE</NAME_FIRST>
<NAME_MI>Q</NAME_MI>
<NAME_FI>A</NAME_FI>
<EMAIL>[email protected]</EMAIL>
<OFFICE_PHONE>5551212</OFFICE_PHONE>
<OFFICE_STREET1>123 Main Street</OFFICE_STREET1>
</ROW> </USER>
( etc )
</getAllUserInfoReturn>
</ns1:getAllUserInfoResponse>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

I need to loop over that and get usernames, ID, rights, etc., but with her looking like that, I have my work cut out for me (I think). I don't know if there is an easy way to replace the entities in an XML file (the docs seem to be down), and if there is, I don't know about it.

Any ideas?

Assuming that you already have the XML file using something like , then the following single line of code is sufficient:

<,>"') (, false) >.

Note, however, that your XML file will then contain an error. The processing instruction.", occurs twice.
