  Could only be done through the development of a custom software that must be run under the main administrator account and would update the respective user accounts directly.  A task force in and of itself would be particularly useful, but I guess that computers A and B distinct users that may be useful.
  What you want to do would be best addressed with a true Windows server and domain that would allow the creation and the management groups and a lot of administrative control.

  Hi, I use Windows Vista Home Premium and whenever I turn on my Sony Vaio desktop computer, it fails to load my personal settings and profile - that is, I can still use my computer, but I can't see or access my documents and when I open Internet Explorer, all my favorites have disappeared. I tried restarting the computer as stopping completely & turning turn it back on. But still does not work.

  I've been using Firefox Beta for several years, and shortly after that which began with Aurora. Both were loaded on my computers and worked well. There are several updates after upgrade to beta version of Firefox, it would not load completely. I don't have screenshots, but see no way to tie up here. The best verbal description I can give is the outline of an area where the program tries to load with only the boxes to close/minimize the visible program in the upper right corner.

  Also, I followed the instructions to load the Profile Manager, but get a similar result. This time the name of the program is displayed in the blue header section, but the box is entirely black, while the Aurora was especially so with a black stripe under the section "header."

• HP 250 G3 laptop: the profile settings of Touchpad

  I'm unable to make persistent changes to the parameters of the touchpad of my laptop.  (Synaptics V.7.5 on PS/2 Port).  I have the latest version of the driver (April 2016).

  These settings display the default whenever I do the following:

  • Use a mouse, connected to a USB port.
  • Select disable the pointing device internal when the external USB pointing device is attached.

  Also, when I select a different scheme of control panels > properties of the mouse > pointers, that parameter also do not support.

  Try the following.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R

  In the run box, type regedit and press enter

  In the registry editor, navigate to the following

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

  Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

  If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

  Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

  Close the registry editor.

  Restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, bring the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now retained after a reboot, etc.

  Not sure what on BOARD to select here. It's on my profile on the FORUM. Next to my AVATAR (upper-left) is what I guess, that's my nickname. I don't remember initially by selecting any Avatar or nickname if the username is one that I use. I just tried slecting a new Avatar, and it worked. However, under the nickname is the word "guardian". It is a complete mystery to me - where did you it comes and how do I get rid of him? While I'm at it, I have an "Avatar". I checked my settings for any instance of "Guardian" or my nickname and don't see them.

  I have two user profiles, the two level admin on my computer (XP PRO SP3). the other day I walked into my profile and restored all my custom settings back to default IE. my wallpaper, bookmarks in firefox etc. even started with the tour of xp when I logged in. I check other profile and who has started up as usual with all custimzations. I tried the system restore, but none of the 4 previous points worked.

  Last night I was using my computer, it suddenly stopped. When I tried to start it, it wouldn't start for a little while, then it starts later. • Try to copy the corrupted user profile profile settings and I am met with the error message "too long file name!

  I tried to connect to my laptop today and instead of recording in the usual way a message that windows creates new office settings.   This means that you have several logons on your local computer that is not allowed when you try to connect with AnyConnect. You have RDP access and local access at the same time, and if you have, AnyConnect won't be able to connect.
