'Manual' HP 1012 Laserjet cleaning Cycle

Is there a way to launch 'manually' on a HP 1012 Laserjet Printer cleaning cycle? I'm on Windows 7 x 64 (using the work around the drivers), and the software provided cleaning does not work on this OS. Thank you!

Yes there is! Here's how you can run a manual cleaning cycle:

  1. Load paper photocopier rank in the paper tray.

  • OfficeJet 6500: Print head cleaning Cycle - why not choose a color?

I'm having a problem with a single color (magenta) print does not correctly. I've had problems before with black. Why the prinhead cleaning cycle does not allow the selection of a single color for cleaning? Why should I lose the other colors of ink when there is only one that needs to be cleaned? I know that HP wants to sell ink, but be reasonable! That I had problems that appear only after you HAVE installed a new ink tank. And it has not shown using a cartridge to power after best-use-by-date. My guess is that if the ink cartridges are not stored properly the use-by-date means nothing.

There are a few components of the automatic cleaning cycles.  There are a set of wiper rubber that moved across the printhead to wipe or scrape debris from the print head.  All wiping little ink is spit of each nozzle to lubricate the wiper and help clear the clogged nozzles. The wiper is built on a unique sled with a motor that moves the wipers back and forth.  Allowing single color cleaning would require a much more complicated mechanical system, with four distinct and motors wipers to control.  (The wipers should be dedicated for each color.  She would cause the nozzle clogging if the black ink is allowed to mix with the color and would cause if different colors used the same color mixing wiper.)

Similarly, for your Officejet 6500, there is a pump system for a more energetic cleaning or for initial priming of printhead.  If it was designed for a single use of color, then a more complicated system, with four independent pumps and controls.

A Mater of reliability and economics, it is not practical to have separated in level printers cleaning cycles.

  • LaserJet 1012: laserjet 1012 does not not on windows 7 or Windows 10

Hello, I had a problem when I updated my windows 7 to 10.

I found a solution for people like me using a laserjet 1012 on win 7:

-come on in: manually install a printer. (because yours in not in the list...)

    -Choose the port: port 4DOT

    -Select driver laserjet 3350

-give a name to this printer, mine was 'laserjet ghost' but you can call it as you want

-then plug your printer with USB cable and click on 'print a test page', it will works.

Sometimes you can have a "unsupported device" problem, just turn off the printer and turn it back on.

Hope this will help other usuers with laserjet 1012 that works very well

BUT IT S NOT WORKING NOT NOT ON WINDOWS 10

I FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS 10:

-first to download the driver for windows vista (I m using 64-bit for my computer):

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=306510&swLangOid=17&swEnvOid=2100

-J' uses the same procedure as for windows 7, but I chose to drive rather than in the list of printer driver. So I choose the driver that I just downloaded earlier: hpc1015w.inf, then open and select the HB 1012 printer

-J' I'm able to print from microsoft office word, and other software, but I'm still working for my pdf Acrobat printing.

    Hope it helps.

  • Manual for HP LaserJet M476 MFP

I'll try to find the HP LaserJet MFP M476 instructions manual (I'm learning how the front back and print envelopes). Can anyone offer me a link to the manual for this printer?

The M476 User Guide manual can be found at http://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c03820385-4.pdf

Unfortunately, in common with the guides for many of the current generation of printers LaserJet, the manual offers only very basic instructions on loading the bins to paper.

She says nothing about whether or not special considerations apply to the loading paper 'face' (for example, letters, or Prepunched header), and if they are different for printing Simplex and Duplex.

The only reference to the envelopes seems to be:

"Print envelopes, labels or not tray 2 paper sizes supported. Print this type of
    " paper from Tray 1."

  • HP LaserJet CP1025nw - shortcut or Windows 8 cleaning cleaning Instructions

I have a HP LaserJet CP1025nw, USB to a Vista laptop.  I've had for about a year and a half and am well versed in the issues he has with the error of system tray HP resulting in the impossibility to access the device settings to start the cleaning cycle, which is all I have to do.  I also spent hours on the phone with HP from the beginning without success.

Is there a combination of keys on the printer, a shortcut, which can be pressed to start the cleaning cycle?

    OR

I have a second, brand new, 8 HP Windows computer this printer wireless connected to.  How can I access the device for this printer settings in Windows 8 to start the cycle?  For example, should be connected?  Driver full features?

Solved my problem! Full featured driver on the Windows 8 machine allowed me to access the device settings and start the cleaning cycle.

  • LaserJet M276nw - envelopes / Legal paper feed / manual

Can someone tell me how I can print envelopes / legal communication and manual feed my LaserJet M276nw?

    Thank you!

The M276nw printer does not have a manual feed slot.  To print a two-sided with this device, we could have taken the page printed and updated new paper in the tray.

See the section on loading the paper tray in the user guide of the printer for more information on the use of envelopes and legal papers.  Click here to view the guide of the user to the M276nw.

  • Can I dismantle a laserjet 1012 that has a post-it note stuck to the inside?

Our unwieldy 1012 laserjet has a sticky note post-it notes stuck inside - it's dark black rectangles on everything we print.  I can't see it in there, although I can say that it is on the right side, where the rectangles are.  Can I take part to find post-it?

  • HP Color Laserjet: HP Color LaserJet - lines/stripes

    Hello

I have a HP color LaserJet and I get a lot of lines and streaks on my printed pages.

I also note toner inside the printer and my printer seems to take cleaning cycles more than before.

    Thank you!

Although I work for HP, my posts are MY opinion and not those of HP.

I would recommend some of the things

First of all, make sure that your firmware is up-to-date, go to the page software and drivers on HP.com download and install the latest firmware available for the printer.

Then, make sure that the toner collection unit is not complete

Finally, print a cleaning of the control panel of the printer page, normally, you should select the following text in the menu:

    • Maintenance of the unit
    • Calibration / cleaning
    • Cleaning page

  • HP Laserjet 1200 misprint

My printer HP Laserjet 1200 has developed a wide range of vaguely stained 8mm vertical from top to bottom clipping just the first letter of each line. Change to a new cartridge makes no difference, just like after the manuals, the advice of cleaning print path. I have a serious problem and just scrap it after have just bought a new cartridge? I'm a reasonably competent DIY DBO.  Georgia boy.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

You can adjust the printing options in Windows 7. Please refer to the article below:

    Choose printing options

If the setting is correct and you are referring to any kind of impressions being performed, I recommend you to check with the manufacturer of the printer in order to ensure that it is not due to a hardware failure.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • Always printing black ink cartridge is not after several clean using your own ink cartridges

I have a HP Deskjet 3050 All in One J610 series printer.

    I use Windows XP.

I'm a Newbie as HP printers are concerned, but some have experience troubleshooting former HP model a parent.

The black cartridge is not printing.   For various reasons, I have not used the printer for about two months.  So far, the printer worked fine, and in fact it is still using the cartridges that came with the printer.  I mention these points here because I realize or the other or both can be part of the issue.

When I sent a document to the printer, printing was uneven.  I checked ink levels and black and color cartridges were about the third two full (before I used the print head cleaning utility.

After cleaning the printheads, I tried again and this time the impression was the same, but in a shade of light blue, which was very low.  However, the original document is in a police man and a shade of gray, so perhaps he used ink cartridge color and not black?

Research using the viewer help from HP does not help because it implies that you don't know how to locate the ink cartridge Clean Utility.

After searching on Google to match the questions, I tried a second and then a third level of cleaning.  And because a post mentioned have to do eight times, I did a little more luck.  When the page is printed at the end of the cleaning cycle, the colors come out crisp and even.  There is no black bloc... is there?  I can't find an image showing a what print perfect following cleaning should look like.

Additional to clean using the utility attempts do not seem to have worked and could even have been counterproductive because when I tried to print another document, and this came out so pale that I first thought that it is a blank page.

I used the utility to re-estimated ink levels and the color is always about two third full, while black has dropped a little down, but is still above half full.  There is a check/tick showing for black ink and color.

Messages on similar questions suggest that the replacement of the cartridge does not solve the problem and that heads should be cleaned manually.

Should I try to clean the heads manually?  Who was mentioned on the threads and even on the HP support but as another option for a very different model.   I watched some demos on You Tube, but they are for different models of HP, in which they remove the printheads and clean them in a solution provided in the trade which I think is available in the United Kingdom, or with water!

I would be grateful for any advice as to whether I should remove the black cartridge and clean heads printing and, if so, if someone could point me to a link where this is illustrated step by step, video, or shown in the logical steps.

In the meantime I'll go off and buy a new black cartridge, but if it's the heads need cleaning, I'll have to do anyway.

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I would like to manually clean the contacts on the cartridges and the printer. The process is described for your model of printer in step 3 of this document here.  The rest of the document does not apply to your question, but it does a great job giving instructions step by step on the manual cleanup process and materials needed to use lists. Manual cleaning will help ensure that the accumulation of contacts is not the cause of the issue of the print quality that you are experiencing. I hope this helps.

  • How to clean all cooling of the Qosmio X 770 - 107

    Hi guys,.

y at - it no manual, how do I clean the entire system for a gaming laptop X 770-107 of cooling?

I try to clean the dust on admission and exit of the laptop, but what is in the middlepart cooling system?

    Any ideas?

No, there is no manual for download.
But why you want to disassemble the unit to clean the fans?
I clean my laptop fans at any time using a jet of compressed air. It's good enough to remove the dust in my case it works always.
