  I made an interactive story with Flash CS6 and ActionScript 3.0, the characters are all .flvs they are animated and transparent backgrounds need so that these can be placed on a separate background. However when I publish the piece as a .air, install and run the application, the .flvs do not all appear. The only advice I could find is to make sure that in the .xml found in the same folder as the .air that transparency is not defined 'transparent', the value is "false", I tried to change to 'true' just to check, and it did not work. Any help what so ever would be greatly appreciated.

  This can have many reasons

  1 make sure that you add all the necessary assets manually in export-air options

  2 videos have some restrictions as their dimensions must be divisible by 16, also flash could have problems with the audio so its not standard 44.1 kHz but 48 kHz

  etc.

  Make sure that you check 'allow debugging' in the export options for the advice which was wrong.

  Also just a tip: I don't see how this is a good design to characters in a story interactive everything, you must convert them to the format swf and do movieclips out of them.

  This will keep your manageable size and give you more control.

• Why my computer continues to be frozen even after reinstall windows complete?

  I had a weird problem during recent weeks. My computer will be good and then all of gel, and then later the fan kicks up (this isn't the reverse, what makes me skeptical that it is an overheating problem, I have had overheating problems in the past).

  Things I've done:

  Updated drivers

  Run massive amounts of virus/spyware/malware scanners

  Run a bootable antivirus CD

  Several analyses of disc

  Contacted representatives of microsoft, who suggested to do a repair installation (I did several fixed repair disk, memory, etc.)

  And, ultimately, a complete reformat of my main drive and a clean install of windows 7 (which I patched with NVIDIA, Vaio update, all updates of relevant windows apart from a platform update I know the causes of the problems fan), Sony all updates for my laptop.

  And yet, in the middle of one of my Vaio update patches, when the computer was working otherwise very gently and quietly, I had a complete system freeze with the up-kick any of the fan again.

  Very discouraging. I worked at this for weeks! What happens in the world should I do now?

  System information: laptop model Sony VAIO VPCF115FM running Windows 7 Edition Home Premium SP1.

  Then, I thought about it!

  For anyone else who might have this specific problem, you can download something like CPUID Hardware Monitor and see if your fan is working well. It turns out that my fan has horse on its maximum capacity at any given time (it should 64degrees C on a possible 66, and then when my computer temp hit 66 my fan would finally kick and try to cool down too late).

  What I did clean the fan manually with compressed air by removing the battery and the hard drive, then burst the plastic cover (a lot of screws involved, but there are tutorials on how to do it for a given computer). Then I unscrewed from the rest of the hardware fan and he gave a good airhosing (also blew the rest of the dust out of the bowels of my computer as well). Basically, since you have cut your computer already, why not take the time to clean the rest too? I also corrected my left click, who had been planted in this way. Voila, now your fan should be much better (also louder) and the margin of error for the temperature of your computer should be something more close 64 78, rather than 66.

  Included in my differential, other things that were ultimately false, were:

  Defective or obsolete software, including the bios, drivers, others (bios level and sony ALL updates, vaio updates, windows updates).

  Virus (massive amount of scanning AND all clean install after you have saved important files)

  Disc damage (ran checkdisk in several different ways - the command if you are curious is a: chkdsk c:/f)

  I have a Macbook Air with El Capitan 10.11.4 - I'm UNABLE to manually control zones. The time zone setting has "automatically detect zones" checked and it won't let me uncheck. " Anyone know how I can uncheck this? I operate in multiple time zones and have my Mac change on me is very confusing (just today a meeting was moving 5 hours - the exact time difference between the United Kingdom and new YORK, and here I am at 5 o'clock in the morning meeting).

  When you say that you can't uncheck, do you mean because it is grayed out? If so, click on the padlock at the bottom of the window to activate the change.

  a. If it functioned very well under Windows 7 before?

  ·         I suggest you to disable your firewall security software and check if you are able to play the game.

  7 move the hardware acceleration slider to none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

  8. click on OK.

  9. restart Windows.

  I downloaded a PDF technical manual on my iMac, and then I sent a copy to myself so that I can use on my iPad user manual. Downloaded ok, it has the wrong orientation.   We have home edition of Windows Vista 64-bit, have loaded Microsoft CombatFlight Simulator WWII Euope series while running as "administrator."  No problem with loading.  Have a Logitech extreme 3d pro.   First of all, I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the drivers of joystick from Device Manager and check if it works very well. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  Click Start > type devmgmt.msc > right click on the joystick device in the list > click on uninstall > then restart the computer.

  Can someone tell me what files are loaded in the registry when Combat Flight Simulator 3 is installed?

  I have loaded cfs3 on my computer. It worked fine with no problem. I loaded the original CFS on my computer and CFS3 stoped working. I uninstalled CFS, CFS3 doesn't always work so I uninstalled. Now that both are uninstalled, I'm not able to install CFS3. After trying many things so he could install, including the installation of CFS3 on another computer to test the file Setup.exe, clean all the files manifest with the registry of the CFS and CFS3. I'm still not able to install CFS3.

  When the cd is loaded in the player, the autorun opperates and evokes the ability to run the setup.exe file. When I click on the file Setup.exe, absolutely nothing happens, except that I can say that it is hammering my hard drive. No error messages nothing loaded on the system. Absolutely nothing. I feel that my system believes still CFS is installed or a corrupted file is still in the registry.
  Help please.

  I am running windows Vista.

  Recently, I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled everything. Flight Sim 3 works fine now.
  I searched the registry, I tried to run setup.exe as administrator. So I tried everything that was reasonable and has decided that the registry must have a file in there that does not appear in what concerns CFS3, I decided to wipe everything and start over. I will not install bag 1 back on this pc for a while. I can try it at a later date, but for now, CFS3 works very well.
