Manually configure the listener apex via command line

I would like to be able to configure the listener apex via the command line.
Is there an api or method to achieve this?

Is it possible to take an apex-config. XML as a template and make changes to this environment and place it in the config.dir directory
According to me, placing a! in front of the clear text password cryptera apex listener reboot?

Is the method of model above a taken way in charge of the configuration of the apex listener script languages?

I set the value of config.dir for /apex_lsnr
This will search the apex - config.xml in the directory above or it will search the XML in /apex_lsnr/apex?

+/apex_lsnr + would be option 1 - who doesn'work currently.

++ refers to the 'context' you have deployed your APEX listener, so if you used the default value (apex) this would actually
+/apex_lsnr/apex +.

-Online cp apex - config.xml $DOMAIN_HOME/apex_lsnr/apex

Note that APEX auditor records the location of the apex - config.xml, he uses actually started. If it comes to the temporary location (default), he found nothing in your configured directory.

    Hi Sue,

It is not a fluke, it certainly works that way.
    Just a few final remarks:
-He didn't need to change/copy content of + / orabackup_iris2/apex_listener/export/home + to + / orabackup_iris2/export/apex_listener + in your case, as the first directory does not seem to be a temporary.
-I recommend you put the java call, including parameters in a shell script and call instead.
    - nohup works very well for the background to the application process. As you probably know he does not offer a service 'system' - like functionality.
    - nohup creates a default file for the release of the console in employment has begun. I would recommend to redirect to a file named, then all the outputs.
So your final configuration would look as follows
    start_apex_listener.sh

    #!/bin/sh
    java -Dapex.port=8080 -Dapex.home=/orabackup_iris2/export/apex_listener -Dapex.images=/orabackup_iris2/export/apex/images -jar /orabackup_iris2/export/apex_listener/apex.war

    appeal of nohup

    nohup /orabackup_iris2/export/apex_listener/start_apex_listener.sh >> /orabackup_iris2/export/apex_listener/apex_listener.log 2>&1 &

  • Adobe Reader 11 (XI) will not open the file via command line

    Hello

I posted this question probably inappropriate topic earlier today, so I am repeating again.

I installed the new Adobe Reader XI today and when I tried to open some PDFs via command line, it reported a syntax error. Now, this syntax worked so far on versions 9 and 10 (I checked today with them and it does not), so my question is - where can I find new syntax, if there are? Google search did not help. Or what else could go wrong?

In previous versions, I was able to open the pdf file (on page 5) like this (everything was taken from the help file 'Open settings')

    «Page "/A" CompletePathToAdobeReader = "CompletePathToPDF", 5"»

    That is to say

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader.

but now - not that it opens a specific page, but it won't open the file at all.

    Edit:

Operating systems: Windows 7, Windows XP

    Thank you.

    Post edited by: v604

Yes, he has correctly reported because there is a syntax error in your order. Try spaces between the /A switch and open the setting. Try this:

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader" /A "page = 5" "d:\V2\DataSheet.pdf" "."

    I hope this helps.

  • How to configure the listener with SSL

    Hi Experts,

I use 11g R2 EE. I want to configure my database listener so that it can be connected using SSL.

Can someone provide me guide step by step to configure the listener with SSL (including the portfolio so that comes in the image).

The command line configurations will be well appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Alexander gelin

The client configuration is the same as the server:

    1. create the portfolio.

2 creating CSR and copy it in CA.

    3. the CSR signal with your certificate root.

4 copy signed CRT file and root of public certificate to the client.

    5 configure the sqlnet.ora clients.

Heavy customers already contains the necessary files. For thin clients, it is necessary to install the full or instant client.

In SQLDeveloper, connection string should be like:

    jdbc:oracle:oci:@(DESCRIPTION= (ADDRESS_LIST= (ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL=TCPS)(HOST=)(PORT=))) (CONNECT_DATA= (SERVICE_NAME=)) (SECURITY= (MY_WALLET_DIRECTORY=D:\Oracle\client.test.p12)))

  • compare two PDFs using acrobat to adobe via command line

Does anyone know how to compare two PDFs using acrobat to adobe via command line. I want to do this via command line, because we want to compare hundreds of files each day through some automated tasks in windows.

If the command line option is not available in acrobat format, then it is possible to use acrobat javascript API to perform this task?

Any kind of help will be greatly.

    Command line: not possible.

JavaScript: Possible, but very limited. Basically, the only thing you can do is simulate the clicking Compare Documents. The rest must be done manually.

However, it * might * be possible to automate this process a bit more using a plugin. Ask for more at the Acrobat SDK forum for more information...

  • How can I remove Lotus Notes PDFMaker plugin via command line?

How can I remove the plugin from PDFMaker lotus notes via command line?  I initially deployed Adobe Acrobat 10 as a full install on multiple computers.  I see how to remove this specific feature through the user interface in Windows 7 by going to Control Panel / programs and features / Adobe Acrobat X / change / modify / create adobe PDF / acrobat PDFMaker / Lotus Notes, but it would be a tedious task to do manually on each computer.  I've experimented with a few msiexec commands after removing Acrobat such as:

msiexec /i "\\path in msi" remove = pdfmakerforlotusnotes

    &

    msiexec /i '\\path in msi' disable_pdfmaker = yes

The two still install acrobat as a full install.  Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you!

I found someone with a similar problem in the forums: Re: CC extensions Manager failed to install the extension

It had file names containing non-ASCII characters. But I couldn't find any non-ASCII characters in my project or extension.

    Thanks in advance,

    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

I checked your ZXP file, and although his signature appears to be valid and correct, it is not time stamped. This means that when the signing certificate expires (which is in less than 3 years), signature of your ZXP will cease to be valid and your extension will not be able to be loaded. I think this is the reason for validation of signature issues.

Can you please try to re-sign your ZXP by adding "tsa - https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa" to your order of signature?

    for example

    ZXPSignCmd-sign my_product my_product.zxp cert.p12 password - ASD https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa

(This should be possible with either ZXPSignCmd for CC + or UCF.jar for CS6 +)

Your product also seems to be a hybrid extension - with a packed inside another ZXP ZXP. So please make sure that the internal ZXP joint is also signed and timestamped this way.

If this does not resolve the problem, please let us know of your stamped ZXP and I'll take another look.

    Best regards

    Fraser

  • How to search in a pdf via command line package

How can I search a specific PDF file within a PDF batch via command line? Previously, I used the following code in VB6 to find a unique PDF file successfully.

    acroPath = String (128, "") ' initialize the string

resultStatus = FindExecutable (pdfPath, vbNullString, acroPath)

acroPath = Replace (acroPath, vbNullChar, "") "get rid of the null character

    «acroPath = "" "" & Trim$ (acroPath) & "»

    cmdLineString = acroPath & "/ n/a" "search =" "& searchString &" "" "" & pdfPath

Call the Shell (cmdLineString, constant vbNormalFocus)

I now get this file in a PDF package, so how can I change the command line to search for the specific package file?

I understand that I can not use OLE with just the drive nor the DDE as the search function is not exposed in the drive. So I find myself with the command line.

I only have Acrobat Reader blown on Win XP SP2, not the full version of Acrobat 8.1.

    SAV

No fix - no command line option.

And Yes, you're right about OLE and DDE.

  • How to manually configure the IP, subnet, gateway on the new NIC in ESX Server 3.5

Hello, first let me say that I am relatively new on ESX Server and so the question I ask here may seem trivial but I looked through the documentation and other threads and that you have not found quite what I'm looking for.

I have an ESX Server 3.5 with a number of production virtual machines running works very well.  I need to install a second NETWORK adapter because my use of the network will go through the roof, once I convert a production server used in a virtual machine on this machine.  I have a server Dell PE 2950 and I bought an Intel Pro/1000 PT dual port PCI-e adapter that is on the list of hardware supported.  In the reading I did, every reason to believe that when I set up the server, the new network cards will appear in the VIC where I can assign to a new Vswitch and so forth, so I get it.  What I don't see in the VIC is a way to specify the NETWORK adapter settings.

The problem is that the switch I connect to, put in place by our network management staff, will not be DHCP settings of NETWORK card for me, I have to manually configure the IP, subnet and gateway until I can start talking.  When I initially installed ESX, I was able to provide all parameters of NETWORK card installation - which is not the case now with the new NETWORK card and the operating system all this up and running.  How do I do this?  Thanks for any help.

    ... BillH

Adding another physical NETWORK card to your vSwitch will make this new Teddy to comply with policies of vSwitch.  In particular, the load balancing algorithm will determine how the additional bears will get used.  By default, this is done with switch port ID.  This means that each vm NIC that feeds, will choose the next available bear to talk about.  The virtual NIC will essentially be Robin and choose the next Teddy online to talk it through and will so remain like that until a failure condition occurs, or the virtual machine is restarted.

If you know a particular VM is a high user of I/O, and you want to separate its traffic from the rest of your virtual machine, and then create a new portgroup on vSwitch0, assign this new portgroup 3rd Teddy and use the other two as before.  In addition, in your regular exchanges, remove or make sleep 3rd Teddy.  In this way you completely isolate the heavy vm from the rest of your systems.
