  Most of these original wont race in newer operating systems, but I saw several places which have updated them to run under Vista/WIn 7.  You should be able to find them by doing a simple Google search.

• Windows 7 - downloading patches and extensions keep throwing games

  I recently bought a laptop Asus with Windows 7 Home Premium x 64.  I was able to load and read of Civilization IV, Heroes of Might and magic and Elven Legacy, but games would launch is more after fixes or extensions have been uploaded.

  In particular, I bought the seat and Direct2Drive Elven Legacy magic expansions.  Once installed, the original game (who worked previously) and the or extensions would launch.  I just got the hourglass.  Restoration has allowed the original game function, but reinstall the downloads still caused a failure to launch.  Download of the official game patch on the working version of the original game also caused are unable to run the game.  The expansions it came out the last 60 days so should work fine on Windows 7.

  Heroes of Might Magic played fine on the facility, but when the official patch has been downloaded, the game would not launch either.  Check to Civ IV.

  Machine game with Trend Micro and disabling before and after the patch did not help.

  Try to run with administrator privileges and in compatibility mode gave the same result.  Asked me if I wanted to leave the program to make changes on the hard disk and click Yes.  Then, I'd get the hourglass and then nothing.

  I guess this is a feature of security, perhaps with IE, but can't seem to cross it and I got some games that I paid so that I can not install?

  Someone at - it gotten past this problem?

  The games you listed show "Information coming soon" on the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.  This means that we are working with the software as to its compatibility.  It is perhaps that the expansion is not compatible, even though the basic game is.  You should check with game makers for the State to update their software for Windows 7.  You can also save the expansion, and then run the installation of the expansion in compatibility mode.   Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  I have FSX Deluxe. When I installed FSX SP1, it was all fine, but when I installed FSX SP2 graphics were messed up. So I uninstalled FSX SP2 and tried again, and it was the same thing. So I uninstalled FSX all together and reinstalled fresh and put on FSX SP1, it was going well until I put FSX SP2, the same thing happened again, messed up graphics.

  So I uninstalled FSX SP2 and updated my drivers graphic and tried again and the same thing happened.

  I need help please.

  Method 1:

  Adjust display settings

  Many recent Microsoft games require a card video and monitor that can run a resolution of at least 800 x 600 in color (16 bit). Set the resolution of Windows display on 800 x 600 in color (16 bit), and then test the game. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. in Windows XP, click Start, point to settings and then click Control Panel.
  In Windows Vista, click on start to reduce this includes personalization thtype in the Search box and then click on personalization in the programs list.

  2. in Windows XP, double-click display.
  In Windows Vista, click display settings.

  3. click on the settings tab.

  4. move the slider of the desktop area or screen area slider to 800 x 600 pixel definition.

  Check or turn on Direct 3D

  To check or turn on Windows XP Direct3D acceleration, follow these steps:

  1. click on Start, click run, type dxdiag , and then click OK.

  2. on the display tab, verify that all DirectX features are enabled. If all the features are disabled, click enable next to the feature.
  Note If some DirectX features are unavailable, verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements.

  You can use Acrobat Pro to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

  You may be able to use Acrobat Standard as well - not sure.

  In my view, there is also a the Adobe online subscription service hosts that combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

  As for search. • Satellite P100-238: stuttering graphics and sound with the game

  A few days ago, I bought a P100-238 both for business and holiday makers with leisure activities include mainly games, I thought this would be a great opportunity to take the next level and buy something powerful with Vista on board... IM starting to think ive made a big mistake. First impressions of the laptop were great (and vista although it is a little welfare State is very good).

  The problems started when I installed a few games (Please take into account, it is a system of 4 GB with 2 gig of ram and a Geforce 7900 gs graphics card, it should theoretically be ideal). The first few games I tried was wonderful... If you stopped, but as soon as you moved (in the game) about every 3 seconds the games would stutter to stop, then start again... every 3 seconds. Okay, I need the drivers, so I jumped on nvidia and tried installing different drivers to see none to work with laptops. In fact whenever I tried to install I got the message that or the other driver is up-to-date or that I'm «not equipped for vista» Anyway to cut a long story short, I discovered www.laptopvideo2go.com when I discovered that Nvidia does not support drivers for laptops (even once cut a long and painful story short) so I used it recommended modded INF files as well as various pilots until the later. Unfortunately I still had the same problem, someone recommended it can become again the sound driver so I tried that no different.

  After further investigation on various forums, it seems im not the only person who knows these probems. On these boards, I noticed that someone had the sound and graphics too jerky and sent it for repair to have the CPU, motherboard, ram etc replaced until they found the error on the HARD drive and once replacement he was fine.

  Using this info and finally think I had put inside of it I took my laptop to the store and he was replacing, ultimately reinstalling everything and lift a game and running... guess what... still the same.
  This is totally unacceptable.
  How do you market a product as games and entertainment laptop when she's obviously serious faults preventing these activities.

  Anyone here have the solution? Also, I should mention that this problem persists when the resolution and graphic details fell to a minimum in the game.
