Mark email unread

Does anyone know if there is a way to mark a single e-mail in view threaded as unread? Before iOS 10, I could see a complete electronic conversation in a single thread, but if I wanted to return to a specific e-mail later in the thread, I could score only that we as unread.  Now, I don't like to have the possibility to mark the entire conversation as unread.

Literally the worst thing about the new update. It is of course outside the constant freezing and voicemail problems. Is there actually anyone doing QA before making these releases Apple?

  • iOS mail automatically marking as read after marking as unread emails

    Hello

This has been me angry for a while now and I hope someone can help me find a solution.  How I personally use e-mail is that even if I read an e-mail, I will be mark as unread if I need to do something for example to answer in the future or another action.  This way when I check my unread emails, I will see there and know that I must follow somehow.

Occasionally in iOS mail, after scoring an email as unread, once I read it, it would show as "unread".  However, a little later, it becomes marked as read once again, even if I did not change anything or are returned in the mail.  I even recorded directly in Gmail via the web browser on my desktop, marked the message as unread, only so he can become marked as 'read' once again not long after.  I scored the same some e-mails as "unread" several times, but they become 'read' a little later.

I am convinced that it is something to do with the Mail of iOS application.  It happens very rarely before some emails, but now it happens regularly to most emails and I can't seem to do anything.

    Can someone please advise?

    Thank you.

It is an odd. You can try to reset your email account. Maybe this will help.

First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account and the blow to remove. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

  • Shortcut keyboard 'Mark as unread' in the Mail no longer works and performs a completely different action instead.

    Hi guys,.

I get a lot of spam and incongruous emails, most of which don't deserve to be read. I ususally just select all and press "cmd + shift + U" to mark all read or not read. Suddenly, I noticed that this shortcut no longer works for me and even though it is a very minor problem, it is kind of annoying and I'd love to fix it.

Basically, when I press "cmd + shift + u" now, he is not mark as read – instead it brings up a finder window with the option "open" files (the same window that appears when you click the paper clip in a new email to browse attachments), and I have no idea why!

In Mail the shortcut should be the same, it is said it is the same shortcut in the drop-down menu, and I have not changed anything. I don't know what the finder window that appears is for, if I actually use it to open a file and then disappears from the window but nothing of actually opens or is happening. What's weird, is that when you use the shortcut to "mark as unread" and the finder window appears, it actually becomes the selected window - mail is still selected. And, therefore, this means that if you continue to press the shortcut to "mark as unread", it will be permanently open these "File Explorer" finder windows... which I've never seen elsewhere.

    Anyone who has a solution?

So much worse... After weeks of being confused, that just now, I realize what the problem was.

I installed the Puush application to quickly download screen shots and files... and guess what it was shortened by default for the "upload file"...

    Problem solved.

  • I can't mark emails as read!

Since the last automatic Droid Razr update a few weeks ago, it's very complicated to mark all unread messages to read! It was easy to do it before, but after this update it seems not work!

If go to my email account main I can sort by date email, unread, or other options. I select no read. I then press the menu key and select "select all". Then a few iconw appear in the background: a trash can, an e-mail and a flag. I select the mail one and it opens and the word 'mark read' appears, but the messages don't as read clear.

I'm frustrated! He used to work without problems before the update.

Just * slightly tap * the icon 'mark read '. If you hold long enough so the text 'mark read' to show that it won't work.

  • (Marked as unread) mail problem

    Hello

I have a problem with the body of the email, and a few messages are marked as unread.

So I use auditors from file to listen to the incoming/outgoing emails.

I can't test it in real aircraft because I don't have BES account.

The first problem was sometimes the body of the email are not caught, his works now (not in all cases, for example transmitted mail bodies does not appear) I used a snippet of the KB download email bodies (Transport.more (bodypart, true)) so this theoretically download the other body of the email. But another question. Some messages are marked as unread in blackberry and the desktop (tested by someone) e-mail client. If this can happen by downloading from the rest of the body? And also another question. This can also trigger the earphone 2 times?

    Tested on the BB 9700

    Version of the platform: 5.1.0.121

    Software version: 5.0.0.442

PS: Sorry for the long text, but I can't explain shorter...

E-mail messages are marked as unread when "more" of a message arrives.  This can be triggered by the call to Transport.more or by asking user to the message using the menu of the application Messages more message arrives after that they closed.  It comes to show the user what happened at their request more.

MessageListener can be triggered whenever more than one message arrives.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I keep my PC yahoo mails marked as unread?

When my emails get to my BB, they are automatically marked as unread in my yahoo on my PC account, even when they have not been read everywhere... not on my PC or on my BB. How can I keep my e-mail messages marked as "unread" on my PC until they have really been read?  Thank you!!!

Try to go into the configuration of your e-mail on your BlackBerry and remove your Yahoo email account.  Send a few test messages to your email account and see if they show read or unread.  After the test, add your Yahoo to your BlackBerry account, then test again.

  • The search for 'new' emails are NO emails unread.

Thus, in order to 'find' where they are quickly, I try a search for 'new' emails. There is NO search condition for 'unread', so I'm looking for "new". Thunderbird apparently does not recognize emails unread as new.

How to make this work properly? Where can I get 'no read' versus 'new '?

  • Is it possible to have the show number email unread for just an email address?

    Hello world

I have 2 addresses - email my gmail address that I use for "undesirable" (coupons, FB, etc.) and my me.com address that I use for the things that I really need to see.  I want to have both accessible through the mail on my iPhone app, but if possible I would rather than the 'me' unread address emails show the Red number on the icon.  I have a hundred of thousands of emails unread in my gmail Inbox, in order to have this mixed number tells me nothing.

I know that I can click in the app and see the unreads account.  If it comes down to it, I'll just cut the number of unread icon.  But I thought I'd see if anyone here knows if/how have the icon app unreads show an account can be done.

    Thank you!

Application settings > Notifications > Mail. You should see each account with the ability to set notifications for each.

Anyone has any ideas how mark an unread message or read through the EAS?  A lot of times I'll read a message on my phone and later need to read it again when I'm back in the office.  Marking UNREAD is usually how I could do this.  I can't find the option on this new phone.

Tap the message and then press the application menu (located on the upper left corner, you will see it mark as unread)...

  • email unread mail icon

Given that I have updated to iOS 10, there is no indication on the icon of the application that I have unread email or iMessages.

Sorry for the silly question. I found the solution, I did not notice that the name is "the badge icon.

  • My 6s iphone shows that I have an email unread in my Inbox.  I have read and open any emails in my Inbox, but my phone shows an unread email.  How can I make the 1 red go?

My 6s iphone shows that I have an unread email.  I have read and open any emails in my Inbox.  How can I make the 1 red go?

Go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars > press e-mail account. Put the Mail DISABLE (display white side). To return to the home screen (it's essential!). Phone power off. Turn the phone to power back on. Mail switch must stay off - if enabled, you will need to repeat this process. If it is disabled, you did it right - turn it on and the 'ghost' post should have gone - for now. That they will probably come back until this bug is fixed permanently.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Mark emails transferred / replied:

I bought a blackberry after using android for a long time, as I thought that blackberry is a more powerful tool for emailing etc.

On my Q10 (OS 10.2) I was surprised that emails do not get marked as 'deflected' or the 'answers '. I could work around this problem by using the mode of conversation which also shows my forwarded e-mail messages or responses, but I'm the synchronization with Outlook and Thunderbird and it would be extremely useful see what emails, I have already answered or if I've already passed.

How this feature be turned on, and if it is not available (as several articles suggest), how blackberry could miss this essential characteristic of e?

    All advice is greatly appreciated!

It is maybe not enough, but that's how. I have no idea why BlackBerry has never added the feature.
