MARKED AS CORRUPT DRIVERS

The device, CD ROM Drive, reports "Tv_ConfigMgrErr39". The device won't be available until the problem is resolved.  The Plug and Play ID for this device is SCSI\CDROM-VEN_HL-DT-ST-PROD_DVDRA,_GH24nsbo\4-28652-010000

I have spent hours on the Internet following the opinion of many and came at the end of my rope.  I do not understand why there seems to be no easy solution.  I hope that one of you, young experts solves this, which seems to be a wide spread problem.  Shame on Microsoft. :)

Hi Richard,

Please confirm the full error message.

  1. You are able to access the files on the CD/DVD that you insert into the drive or play music (if it's a CD/DVD music)?
  2. What exactly is the brand and model of your computer system and the installed CD/DVD drive?

There are many causes of Code 39 errors:

  • A required device driver is missing.
  • A required binary file is corrupted.
  • There is a problem with the file I/O process.
  • A driver that refers to an entry point in another binary file cannot load.

The solution recommended for the question is to uninstall and reinstall the driver of the concerned material.

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager and then search for the new hardware reinstall the driver.

  1. Open the Device Manager.
  2. Expand the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives.
  3. In the device Properties dialog box, click the driver , and then click Uninstall. Follow the instructions.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click on Search the hardware changes. Follow the instructions.

Note You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows can have the driver built-in, or might always have the driver files installed since the last time that you have configured the device. However, sometimes, it opens the new hardware wizard who can ask the driver. If you are prompted for the driver and you don't have it, you can try to download the latest version of the driver from the website of the provider of the material.

  • Windows 7 corrupt drivers do not install

I had to reinstall windows 7.  Now some drivers are corrupt and or not installed.  What would you recommend as the best supplier to reinstall as Cnet for example.

0 windows Update / update of Device Manager, driver

    1. the PC manufacturer for equipment provided with PC purchase

    2 OEM for additional hardware

3 the Intel® driver update utility as appropriate - it now helps only with the currently supported hardware and, for older hardware, it ends with a link to the Intel Download Center where they keep older drivers.

4 Microsoft update service catalog - login as an Admin first use IE not another browser, go to the site, search for the name of the element [as WiFi Dell 1397 card, adapter to display Mobile Intel 4 - just do the best you can to avoid too much bother with long search results lists]

Personally, I would not bother with any third-party providers of driver drivers must come from a source of hardware manufacturer in the first place or they would not exist.

    {Added later - as Ken points out, if you get drivers anywhere else, then you don't know what you found actually.}  {As better drivers are obtained from the sources listed above and drivers must come from one of them in the first place or they wouldn't just make these third-party providers of pilot (waste your time / take your money / malware distribution)?}

Not happy going and deleting registry files as much as drivers/model numbers and so forth are never exactly applicable to my machine.

  • maxcorrupt is marked or not marked corrupt blocks?

    Hello

    Documentation says:

"You can use the SET MAXCORRUPT command to set the total number of * not * corruptions permitted in a file for RMAN backups." The default value is 0, which means that RMAN does not tolerate corrupt blocks trivialized whatsoever.

If the MAXCORRUPT limit is exceeded when RMAN meeting marked a * non * corrupt block during a backup, then RMAN terminates the backup. Otherwise, RMAN writes the corrupt block newly detected at the backup with a special header that indicates that the block is marked corrupt. »

So, I did the following test:
backup database and everything is correct, no corrupt blocks.
    corrupt a block using "dd".
backup database and is not caused by the corrupted block.
Make sure that the block is marked as corrupted.
Try saving again, but it fails when it is supoused to work because the block is marked as corrupted.
The only way to save the database uses "maxcorrupt.

The documentation is wrong or I'm doing something wrong?

I tried troubleshooting Minecraft, but he put in compatibility mode so that it runs under Windows XP SP3, but still does not work. Please help me. Thank you.
(I also made sure I have the latest version of Java, I downloaded it about 15 minutes before I posted this)

Hi Albert Charles Zeller - McBride III

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

I appreciate your efforts in getting the problem solved. I will definitely help you.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you have problems with an update of the driver on Mine craft.

Please answer the following questions so that I could help you further:

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer and the video card?
    2. Do you get any error messages?

Try these steps and come back to me with the results:

    1. Update driver
Update driver for your card on the site display in the manual or by searching online.
    2. Device Manager

This error can occur due to corruption drivers installed on your PC. Open a device by her manager to research on the start screen. Look for your graphics card. Right-click on any driver and choose uninstall. Then, download the latest software for your card on its Internet site.
  • OpenGL
OpenGL may not have installed the update of the driver. Perform an update of the graphics driver manual and not automatic.

  • SCSI/RAID Host Controller, reports "tv_ConfigMgrErr39".

I ran the reliability and performance monitor on my laptop and the SCSI/RAID Host Controller has been highlighted that does not properly.

The information contained in the diagnostic reliability monitor results and performance are:

    * Symptom: * _Device drivers marked as corrupt. _
    * Cause: * a device has a configuration issue preventing it from working correctly.
    * Details: * the device, the SCSI/RAID host controller, reports
'tv_ConfigMgrErr39 '. This device won't be available before the question
is resolved. The Plug and Play ID for this device is
    ACPI\PNPA000\4-4D18F2DF-1.

When I check the SCIS/RAID Host Controller Properties, it says under device status:
"Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Click on 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available. »

To search for solutions, nothing is found. There is also no driver software to be updated.

Would it be the result of some kind of change due to an update or
something, I ran the monitor first getting the computer (a little
For more than a year) and has not been advised of any errors. I posted this information in the Microsoft forum and was advised that submit a post here can find me an answer and also to check the appropriate driver downloads. My computer is telling me to contact the manufacturer of your device to download the software, but in its properties, there is no listed manufacturer. I can't get the Toshiba site for a download of driver that I have no idea what this component is and have no idea where to start!

I would be grateful for any advice (relatively uncomplicated!) and a gentle nudge in the right direction of a appropriate driver.

    Thank you very much
    Sarah

    Hello

To be honest I don t know what you re talking. It would help if you could post some information like your laptop model.

39 error code usually means that there is a driver problem so I updated the driver. You can find the latest version on the Toshiba site.

Sorry mate, but that s all I can say at the moment.

    Hello

There were problems before you re-installed Windows?

Given that you did do a re-installation means that the causes are mainly hardware, BIOS, low-level chipset
drivers or other drivers and programs that load low level.

To see how to use BlueScreenView and MyEventViewer to troubleshoot the Bluescreens see the
Methods indicate in this thread - top 3 responses (+ 1 other).

We can analyze the minidumps if make you it available to the SkyDrive or another file
sharing sites. This may not help but it's worth a shot. Don't forget to check the wiring and
    Rigorously test the hard drive.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

The most likely causes are the hard drive problems, wiring or a problem of hard disk (on the motherboard) controller. Some
antivirus/antispyware/security programs could play a role. See message methods to test the
    course over ground.

    BCCode: 24 stop Code 0 x 00000024

    Cause

One possible cause of this bug check is damaged drive. Corruption in the system of NTFS file or defective (sectors) on the hard disk can cause this error. Corrupted drivers SCSI and IDE may also compromise the ability to read and write to the disk system, so causing the error.

Another possible cause is the depletion of memory pool non paged. If the nonpaged memory is exhausted, this error can shut down the system. However, during the indexing process, if the amount of memory available nonpaged pool is very small, another driver in nonpaged kernel memory in pool mode may also cause this error.

    Solve the problem

To solve a problem of hard drive corruption: Check Event Viewer for error of SCSI and FASTFAT (syslog) messages or Autochk (the application log) that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Try disabling any antivirus software or Disk Defragmenter tools that continually monitor the system. You must also run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer. RunChkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition.
