• Using your own web fonts and not of TypeKit

  Hey Adobe!

  I have to say first off, that muse has changed myself the way I am on the design of web sites. I can now create and deploy large Web sites easily on my own with little or no coding experience. It's invaluable to me. Muse is a game changer for me and it was one of the best pieces of software I have used in many many years. So thanks to give developers the tools to be technical without being technical.

  On my feature request:

  

  As a graphic designer, I have a taste for typography. I have many of my own web fonts. I understand TypeKit has many characters available fonts, but none of them is enough. It is not acceptable to have to settle for a substitute font.

  Adobe Muse MUST have a feature for these creators who own their own web fonts so that they can design and build Web pages with their characters of choice. I understand Adobe must want customers to go to the selection of TypeKit, and I am sure that most of the users use this option. However, for users like me, who focus on every detail - like fonts, it's a critical missing element. The lack of this feature, I'm back in the box start not being able to find any software out there that's 1, easy to use, 2, purely based design and 3, allows you to use your own web fonts.

  I know Dreamweaver and many other WYSIWYG there editors allow me to personalize everything I wish including @font-face rule, but again, I'm a designer - my brain don't think that in the code. That is why Muse is the only option for me.

  So, Adobe, I know you love deeply your software and your customers as well. I am sure that you will take this feature request seriously. I'm not alone to this added feature. Many people on these forums Muse ask about this feature as well. I am asking nicely, nicely begging and pleading kindly that consider you this feautre with your team. , This would mean a lot if you could reply back so we can have an open discussion on this topic. I care too much success on Muse - I am an enthusiast of the it.

  Adobe Muse CC 20141 (published earlier today) supports self-hosted web fonts. To use a specific font in your Muse site, you will need to install the font system (an appropriate license to use desktop) and provide the files to corresponding web fonts (a license appropriate for use on a Web site).

  2015 macs (based of your signature) do need an external Setup program. Please visit https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/assistant/6.0/#/bcmp173b3bf2 . If you manually build an installer, you will encounter installation problems. Are you unable to install Windows without a flash drive? You should put the entire folder downloads manually in the Flash Player, it may have more/more large files that can accommodate a FAT32 USB key.

  It is not required for your Mac. You have already an ISO from Microsoft. The goal is for Macs where the user has a physical DVD, but the model of Mac does not have an integrated optical drive.

  BCA must ask the location of the ISO (Documents is preferable downloads) and start download the support software and start the partitioning.

  Pay my iMac (21.5 inch, end of 2013, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor) bought with Maverick, I went successively to Yosemite and then to El captain. And since then, I have a problem starting not to power: the progress bar stuck at 60%. Start-up in Verbose mode, I get the message "kauth resolver external time out."

  The only solution is to "turn off, is dry, and tension to under 30." This second time under tension, the mac restarts. A solution that is not terrible.

  I used OnyX, but no verification has failed to solve the problem, everything looks ok.

  This error message you get (EXACT - Word for Word)- or what exactly happens when you try?  What kind of file does the camera product?  What burning software are you using (name and version)?  The burner will burn other files without problems?  The burner will burn other files of this type of file, even without any problem?

• Library FULL of TypeKit in Muse or YOUR OWN POLICE of WEB - anger still lives.

  After more than a year to complain about the very crucial missing feature of Adobe TypeKit, still nothing has been addressed. The problem: allowing the COMPLETE of TypeKit library used on applications Adobe - especially of Muse. I have discussed at length and seriously to shell out money for a subscription of the CC or not. I did, now I wonder why Adobe fails to inform you of these critical flaws in it's software before you buy it.

  To say that I am upset beyond is an understatement. To be quite honest, I don't think I felt ever so upset by the lack of response of a company before. It is very clear that Adobe wants to play police officers, rather than leaving things to work as everyone's willing to make them.

  Do not substitute the designers. Period. End of. Typography is an essential element of his brand. I can not and should never have to compromise on the design simply because "the licensing of fonts can be difficult. If you can't afford the full library of TypeKit to be used in the Muse, you should allow for effective implementation of your own license and bought time to use. Stop acting like the police of fonts.

  As I said in my past and previous posts on forums much, Adobe Muse is a really great software, but such things do all these strides in absolutely useless software. DESIGNERS use Adobe software. Meet the needs of designers.

  I am at a loss for words on that. I feel lied to, I feel ripped off the coast, and I feel discouraged. If the industry had more competition with software solutions, I think I want to leave the ship.

  Adobe, as a paying customer who cares about the Muse is a success, please listen. I'm not only a voice. I am the voice of many many other users requiring the same functionality, I ask you to. Yes Muse themes has a patch paid for it, BUT I don't have to pay for third-party add-ons for something that should already be there. Please do not respond if you are going to be vague on the topic this question where on your plans for Muse. Be specific.

  IF you care about your customers, you will find someone who cares to help out me. Someone with the necessary know-how for a workaround step by step.

• Cannot change my own messages in a conversation

  So, I noticed this several times. I can't stand the restrictions of a cat of cloud and refuse to use them, because there are about 3 useful commands, and the rest don't actually work. In a cat of P2P/moderate, I can't edit my own posts, but anyone can. Why? Is this a bug? It seems of course because the accepted solution is "don't use moderate chat." As the creator, I should be able to make other users, too.

  I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, but in a LIVELY conversation, the creator has the ability to REMOVE all chat message, but does not change (messages own incl.). Other users have only the ability to delete/edit their own messages. They can change the messages to other participants.

• Cannot receive or send messages using Android.

  I own a laptop and an Android, with Skype, the laptop works Skype perfectly without any problems so far, but the messaging feature in the Skype app on my phone seems to have stopped working together, as when I send a message using my phone, it appears on the screen of receptors, but not mine. Also, if someone sends a message to me using Skype, I'm also not able to post using my phone. It's quite a big drawback for me because I use Skype as one of my apps email/primary vocation and rarely get to use my laptop, so I rely on Skype my phone.

  Update: the settings of date and time of the phone have been recently a bit off, and as soon as they have been fixed my Skype messaging functionality started working too. So I can only assume that the reason was because of my time and day go wrong it somehow prevented the application of the ability to send and receive messages, or not. Whatever it is, it is fixed.

  Hello fellow Mac users...

  Today, while using, Firefox A message appeared on my screen: another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer.

  Now, I am 100% sure that my phone was turned off when it happened. And I have a password on my wifi connection.

  I panicked because no one should have access to my network or my IP address. Immediately, I turned off my modem and turned off the wifi on my mac.

  Later, I went to renew the DHCP lease.

  My question is this:

  Could it be, in theory, based on the message system I (another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer) the IP address was stolen (for lack of a better word) by a remote user, which is not in my physical neighborhood that is resident in another city or even country?

  If so, then I did the right thing by closing my Modem? And later on the DHCP lease renewal? About 20-30 minutes past until what I actually renewed the DHCP lease. It, in theory, could have too late to do (assuming that a malicious user has chosen to masquerade himself with my IP address)?

  What was the popup of? -FireFox, the webpage or your Mac?

  If it's from the Web page--> then you may have entered a suspicious site that created an alert.
