  • Why suddenly scrolls so slow during ~ 1 WEEK so far, though even I've disabled smoothscroll and changed some on: configuration values according to the various instructions that I found?

    I have the free version of Avira more some default Windows Firewall are not sure how to check if this is the problem.

    I disable acceleration smoothscroll and material in the Firefox options. I checked the control panel from my computer, and it still considers that I am scrolling 5 lines at once, as always.

    Two other things I can think, the configuration entries may have changed after the update. How to fix preferences that will not save

    Statement of the problem is very simple: Firefox won't create bookmarks.

    New installation with Mint 17. New generation of PC with Asus A58M-A/USB3 motherboard, AMD A4 6300 processor 4 gig memory stick.

    All Mint and Firefox packages are up to date.

    A new profile has been created for the test, Firefox has been started in safemode, purged and re-installed and reset to the default values. None of these actions have contributed.

    You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  • "Delayed write failed" message keeps appearing to external hard drive (WD passport) and problems with suggest fix kb908673 (register edit).

    I had problems with my WD usb hard drive, where a "delayed write failed" message keeps appearing when the transfer of files to or from it. Among the fixes suggested on the WD support site is a link to kb908673, and this seems to sum up my problem. This fix is included in sp3, I believe, however, the fix indicates that a manual registry editing needs to be done;

    "After you install this hotfix, the following registry subkey is automatically added and configured:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USB\EnSoftRetry

    The registry key is configured with a DWORD value of 1. This value allows the Soft-Retry code path that is used in this hotfix.

    "If you install a later version of the patch (a patch that contains later versions of Usbport.sys and Usbehci.sys), including Windows XP SP3, this registry value not be automatically added and configured. The registry value must be manually added and configured as described above to activate the Soft-Retry code path that is provided in this hotfix. »

    I don't have this registry subkey and have no idea how to do to configure a key to have a DWORD value - I can create as a registry entry DWORD value in this key, but it must be given a name. Should I create a DWORD value called "EnSoftRetry" in the USB, or should I create a DWORD value in the EnSoftRetry key and, if so, what should it be called? Or am I completely misunderstanding something here?

    I use HQ API in my program in eclipse to collect values for the various indicators of AVAILABILITY of certain resources and it works! But sometimes, the problem is that the values are equal to 1.0, 0.0 sometimes, or even 2.0. I read in the forum that when the value of the availability of a resource is equal to 1.0 at the time t, the resource is available at that time and when it is equal to 0.0 is that it is not available, but I do not understand how the value of availability is equal to 2.0!

    The availability of 2.0 means that the value is unknown.
    This is what causes the gray (as opposed to the green/red/yellow) indicator in the table of health resource.

    I'm writing a game using the new Vector class.  Then vector consist of flash.geom.Point (s).

    However, when I try to use the concat function to return another vector with a series of Points at the end of the vector, I'll get:

    Action script says I'm trying to convert a vector to a vector.  I don't see how this is the case.

    In the example below, I said adjoiningPoints be:

    I get the above error.  To remedy the problem, added the extra lines, declaring "iAPath."  When I work with berries, everything works fine. The sets are completely filled with points and there is no error.

    You cannot use concat with other types of data. That's what indicates the error. myNextPoint is the Point and concat() expects array (vector).

    While the docs of vector is not an example, Array is managed in the same way, so this is where they show how to use concat() for table:

    Yes, it's possible. Depends on what you are doing. Source value of the element can be a query, so if you have spent the value PK of a line in a table to the page, then the query source of this element could extract the line using this key and use the text value retrieved from another column to fill the text element.
