I have the HP p6402f with the nvidia 6150SE integrated graphics card oem desktop.  I'm trying to find what maximum screen resolution it will support. I want to use a 22 '' with 1920 X 1080 but would like to know that it will work at this resolution, before buy you.  Any info is much appreciated.

Le HP p6402f specifications on the portal only shows as having been delivered with nvidia 6150SE integrated graphics card.

Graphics Intel GMA X4500HD is listed as the integrated graphics card. Intel says it is capable of full HD 1080 p 1920 x 1080.

Where did you find oem nvidia 6150SE integrated graphics card?

  • XPS 8500, AMD 7570, U2715H, maximum resolution?

I have a 8500 XPS with the AMD Radeon 7570 hooked the HDMI output of the card to HDMI on the monitor and I cannot get resolution 2048 x 1152. Should I buy an updated video card? I want to get my new monitor U2715H maximum resolution.

    Thanks for any help. Mike

It seems that the Dell OEM AMD Radeon 7570 has only one exit HDMI and DVI - I DL. HDMI U2715H max is 2048 x 1152. You need to invest in a PCIe x 16 CDM video card that runs using the XPS 8500 460w power supply or DP. If you get one that has outside CDM, you can use the Dell mDP to DP cable. If you get one that has outside DP, you will need to buy a cable to DP to DP.

  • Satellite A660-1FM - maximum resolution of the display of the external monitor

    Hi all

Maybe it is (probably) an easy question to answer, but I have a Satellite A660-1FM and want to use it with my external screen Samsung Syncmaster (forgot model). I got a HDMI-> DVI - D adapter and everything is going well, but here's my question:

The page of specifications of toshiba for my laptop (http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-A660-1FM/1096013/toshibaShop/false/) shows a capacity of external resolution of:
    Maximum resolution: 2 048 x 1 536
    Max refresh rate: 100 Hz
Resolution No interlaced with the maximum refresh rate: 1920 x 1 200

But I get what I call resolution HDMI standard (no wonder, I guess) when connected HDMI-> DVI - D to my external monitor. I have already run this monitor on my desk at highest resolution of 1080 p, so the monitor is capable.
Wondering what I'm missing here, or is that a matter of graphics card specification is more than possible to the output of the laptop?

    Thanks for any help
    Andy

    Hi Khaled,

What is the native screen resolution of your external display?
Can you connect your laptop and monitor with HDMI cable only why you need an adapter?

To be honest I don't understand your question. If you already have the Full HD screen resolution why do you need more?

Hello guys, I am very new in the Mac world, and I currently have a MacBook Air 11 "2015 model. I'm a long-time Windows and short-term Linux user. I find that the transition between Linux and Mac, however, is pretty easy. I just wanted to know if anyone of you had an idea of what monitor maximum resolution of the Macbook Air 2015 with integrated graphics (Intel HD 6000) HD can push up? Thank you!

    Graphics and video Support

    • Intel HD 6000 graphics card
    • Dual display and copy video: simultaneous support for native resolution on the built-in display and up to 3840 2160 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors
    • Digital video output Thunderbolt
      • Native of output Mini DisplayPort
      • DVI output Mini DisplayPort to DVI (sold separately)
      • Output VGA Mini DisplayPort to VGA (sold separately)
      • Dual-link DVI output Mini DisplayPort to DVI dual link (sold separately)
      • Output audio and video HDMI using third-party Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (sold separately)
  • Win7 and nVidia 6150SE 430 motherboard

Are they really compatible? When I run video games like Civ 3 or 4 the processor starts to run high and the fan runs at full speed as the machine is about to take off ;-). The games can be run in full screen mode and even with a window frame and the animation set as low as possible, the set of parameters 'Global' or low nVidia, I still I have this problem.

I downloaded updates (280) recommended driver from nVidia for compatibility and problems with the windows leaving 'trail' when they were displaced the other. This seems to be a question of resources.

Can I solve this problem with a separate graphics card? And if yes how heavy duty a card can the system handle?

Yes, Windows 7 and Nvidia 6150SE/430 chipset are compatible. Probably you are in need of a discrete graphics card to offload processing card video system. If your system has slot PCIe x 16, almost any PCIe x 16 graphics card should work your power suplly provided is large enough to power the new card.

You don't mention what HP/Compaq computer, you have, so we can only speculate about the extension and power connectors that has your computer. Please provide your number of HP/Compaq exact model or product number for more specific help with your question.

  • 15 - j104ax: How can I know HDMI maximum resolution? (ENVY 15-j104ax with the Radeon HD 8750 M)

    I use this laptop, the ENVY 15-j104ax with AMD APU A10 - 5750M and Radeon HD 8650 G + HD 8750 M Dual Graphics.

My laptop has HDMI port, and I want to know the maximum resolution of HDMI from my laptop.

I would buy screen QHD (2560 x 1440 or 2560 x 1600), but I don't know if this HDMI supports this high resolution.

The following link is AMD graphic sheet on my chart.

    http://www.AMD.com/en-us/products/graphics/notebook/8700m-8800m#

If please see the 8700 M features section and search for "HD 8750 M Series GPUS".

Interface memory is 2 GB memory DDR3 (graphics memory)

And one that he is a specification, complete more dedicated. Please look at page 11

    http://www.AMD.com/documents/AMD-Radeon-HD-8000M-series-GPU-specs.PDF

My chart based on GPU - Z, is connected with PCIe 2.0x8.

And, when you look at the full features, it says that my graphic supports HDMI with 4K (maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160).

I know that my graphics chip support this resolution, but I don't know port HDMI supports.

Anyone know how I can see max resolution of the HDMI?

or is there someone who has used the same laptop as mine and more Full-HD monitor? (As 2 K, 4 K, 2560 x 1440, etc.)

    Thank you.

  • Maximum resolution and automatic adjustment of the issues U2713HM

I am putting in place of new U2713HM monitors on two Optiplex 9020 running Windows and Ubuntu machines and some problems:

-The maximum resolution apparently can only be obtained using a Display Port cable that was * not * included with the screen. The Dual Link DVI - D cable is completely useless because the maximum resolution, it allows is 1920 x 1080. The only information which were available on the manual and CD that came with the monitor has proposed upgrading drivers (which increased to date already) and mention anything about who need a different cable.

-The most aggravating the problem: using the VGA cable (which while allowing a better resolution than DVI), if the computer is started in Windows it will blink once a message of 'current auto adjustment' and then get stuck on a white screen. This happens as well when starting cold or when restarting and seems not to be resolved by resetting the factory settings screen. The question is not present if the computer is booted with Ubuntu. He also doesn't seem to be a problem with the specific computer, the cable VGA or the monitor that I have several of each to close at hand and tried with the same result.

Does anyone have a solution for the second question? I don't have a screen Display Port at the moment and would like to do in the meantime, the use of the best resolution. Or if anyone knows how to set the maximum resolution using the DVI cable (if possible), which would also be useful.

    Thank you.

  • can I increase the screen resolution on my laptop with a video card. The maximum resolution on my laptop, it's 1024-600 min I need is 1024-800

I have a Dell laptop. Im trying to download videos from my camcorder. • Impossible to get a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 on external monitor using DVI with Optimus video T420s

    Hello

I have a T420s with Nvidia Optimus graphics card. I also have the ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3.

When I tried to drive an external monitor via DVI, I can't get the full resolution of 2560 x 1600.

I searched the forums and found several threads expressing problems with the implementation of the resolution of 2560 x 1600 per display port. Engineering even issued a new nvidia driver to solve problems. (http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T420-Unable-to-get-max-resolution-of-2560x1...

I uninstalled my intel/nvidia drivers but also installed the latest lenovo driver according to the instructions on the previous post and I still can't get the full resolution of 2560 x 1600 on the DVI ports of the docking station. I tried two DVI ports on the docking station, and it still does not work. I tried enabling Optimus, discreet mode mode, etc... Nothing helps.

However, if I try to drive the external monitor via the display of the docking port, I can get the complete resolution of 2560 x 1600.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this so I can use the DVI ports on the docking station?

Thank you very much for the help!

dvi on the dock port is single link dvi and not dual link dvi, as such, it supports WQXGA or WQHD resolution.

In order to use the resolution WQXGA resolution, you must use the displayport, if you monitor is not a displayport then you must use an active displayport to DVI.

  • Maximum resolution of U2713HM through Dell Dock

Problem: Max screen resolution of 1920 x 1080
    Laptop: Dell Precision 6800
    Graphics card: Nvidia Quadro K4100M
    Double-screens: 2 x Dell U2713HM

Laptop is connected to a Dell docking station that has 2 outputs single link DVI, as well as 2 output of display port. It is more than the laptop itself. It has 2 HDMI output and a VGA. The graphics card is pretty upscale and should be more capable of displaying higher screen resolutions 1920 x 1080. I could have gotten those resolutions out of a $200 LCD Tv. These are $700 monitors! I read some solutions say that you must use a dual link DVI to achieve higher resolutions, but monitors did not come with these cables. And my dock, or the laptop has ports for these no more.

I could use a double adapter dvi display port connection with cables dvi dual link? This configuration might work? How about simply using display port cables?

How can I get the resolutions of 2560 x 1440 out of these monitors with my set-up? My company has invested a lot of money in a Dell configuration all for me and it does not optimally and I need to get this fixed.

    Thanks in advance!

    -Jason

With the help of DP to DP should give you a higher resolution, but there's only a single DP on the monitor. I don't know which dock to choose. You should ask the guys on the forum of the laptop .

  • G560 - maximum resolution and an external monitor?

    Hello

I just bought a G560, and I use it with an external monitor which can range from 1200 x 1400.

I don't seem to be able to get the vertical resolution higher than 768... I'm in 1024 x 768 at the moment. 1366 x 768 is the highest mode listed, but as long as my monitor is 5 x 4 and not widescreen, everything seems squashed in this mode.

I used to have a R51, and it served me well for 7 years. This could go to 1200 x 1400, so I guess with the advancements in technology, my new laptop computer box too.

    What Miss me?

    Thank you.

I knew that this laptop could do!

After hours of violin, I have to go to 1600 x 1200.

The trick was to do a right-click on the desktop, graphics options, output to monitor.

It was initially set to "clone screens" instead of "monitor". My LCD2170NX 21 "display is also correctly detected, so I can only see the modes that it can display. See below:
