  I upgraded a client to a new office of HP with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS. She has a HP Laserjet M1319f connected via USB. When I download and run from the driver download site on HP or download, save, and make the installation of the C drive, it gets to the point says "Adding printer drivers" and it crashes at two or four bars, so I have to kill it in the Task Manager. I tried to install it with the printer unplugged and got the same result. Windows OS printer drivers work fine.  What's up with the HP driver installation?

  Hi, I just bought this system, a Hp Pavilion dv6t-7000, Enterntainment CTO notebook PC.  I want to take the amount of space between the C drive and create a virtual hard disk.

  Disk 0 is severed as follows:

  System:

  199 MB NTFS; Primary partition, Active system

  C: 678.60 GB NTFS; Boot, page file, crash dump, primary Partition

  D recovery: 21,53 Go NTFS; Healthy primary partition

  HP_tools 108 MB Fat 32; Healthy primary partition

  I would take 50 GB on C: and create a virtual hard disk to install windows 8 to have a dual boot system.  Can someone point me to a credible link that describes how do this or share the solution?  I tried a process described in TechRepublic where you create a virtual hard disk, and then start on Windows 8, shift f10 in an admin window and try to use diskpart select vdisk file that does not exist, that is to say, I'm not.

  Is there anything else I need to do?  I can do this via disk management?

  I have a HARD drive to a virtual host formatted as a vmfs partition. I need to delete / erase this HARD drive vmfs partition because it will now be used in a Windows environment. Can someone explain please how can I remove vmfs partition so that it can be formatted in NTFS? Can be done in a Windows operating system like the current place of residence may have one easily accessible Linux or vmware?

  Windows should be able to reformat a VMFS partition in the GUI. If this isn't the case, you can run the diskpart utility and erase the partition table on the disk.

• USB Flash drive does not work with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

  I have several USB thumb drives, some of them do not work when I plug them in while others work very well. By experimenting, I reduced the problem with the 64-bit Version Windows. All of these USB keys works well in my other computers that have 32-bit installed and also even computer with the 32-bit version installed on different hard drive. All of these thumdrives are detected immediately and works without a problem. The 64-bit version, I have uninstalles and reinstalled readers, drivers updated for readers and controllers USB chipset, reasigning letter drive without a resolution of the problem.

  It is interesting to know that this problem only occurs with some discs that I (like Ativa 4 GB, 4 GB generic and Verbatim 4 GB). While I discovered that you can do all the nonworking day thumdrives work once if you shutdown computer and plug the thumdrive into the USB port and the computer to boot, boot time is longer than usual and when it is operational in 30 to 45 seconds drive appears in the list of devices and you can read, write and format normally without any problem to experiment. When you pull chase him and reconnect to USB port after 10 seconds same problem appears aggai. First of all, you get the message that the disk must be formatted and if you try to format you will get a message that windows cannot format the drive. If you try to access the drive, you get message that Drive is not accessible.   I answered my own question or find a temporary solution until the official driver is published. After a few successes and failures with different drivers HP Color Laserjet, I downloaded the driver communication USB LaserJet of HP (DOT4) of Windows 8 and higher (64-bit) , located at the link below.  It is listed for the printer HP Color LaserJet 3700 , but it worked for the HP Color Laserjet 1600 as well.  Hope it helps someone.

  I searched for the hard drive on my laptop dv6626us upgrades. When I read the comments they seem to all be positive with regard to the replacement of my current (factory loaded hard drive). One of the concerns is that the computer has been delivered to the factory with Windows XP loaded. I don't see the comments of those who have Windows 8.

  HP does not have hardware support for Windows 8 on any system purchased before October 1, 2011.  Most of the Windows 7 drivers work in Windows 8.

  I could give my experience with Satellite M30 and HDD upgrade possibilities.
  To my knowledge the M30 Sat supports a 40 GB, 60 and 80 GB HARD drive for sure.
  In my opinion, you can use the 100 GB HARD drive, but more large HARD s drive will not run and works correctly.
  So go to a smaller size of HARD drive and enjoy the laptop!
