• Three questions about the directory $ORACLE_BASE/admin

  According to FAO, the admin directory must be placed in

  admin directory should contain adump and bdump, cdump, udump directories in the following format.

  11g has completely reorganized the bdump and udump stuff, you might want to look in the documentation.

  For 10 g 2, that's all right.

  Oracle usually creates the following additional directories

  adump: checks
  pFile: init.ora
  create: creation of database scripts
  dpdump: location of exports datapump

  I usually do the following UNIX

  I have $ORACLE_BASE/admin/bin for generic shell scripts (database independent)
  I have $ORACLE_BASE/admin / $ORACLE_SID/bin for specific database scripts

  My $PATH is adjusted accordingly (in oraenv)

  I have $ORACLE_BASE/admin/sql for generic sql (database independent) scripts
  I have $ORACLE_BASE/admin / $ORACLE_SID/sql for sql database scripts

  My $SQLPATH is adjusted accordingly (in oraenv)

• Question about activation of Windows 7 Edition upgrade Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate

  Hi all

  I've recently updated the OS on my computer laptop from Home Premium (Windows 7) supplied with the computer (I have activated the product) to ultimate (Windows 7) using an upgrade key.  Now when I turn on my computer it says 3 days until automatic activation or activate now.  I clicked activate now, but I apparently don't have the right key.  I tried the upgrade button, but I was told that it cannot be used to activate the operating system.  I also tried my original laptop computer product key but I was told that it will not now work with my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate.  I don't know what I can do.  What will happen in 3 days?  Can someone tell me if I have anything to worry about and what I can do to solve?  Thanks in advance!

  First of all, where did you get your Windows 7 Ultimate license?

  Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade came with a product key?

  What type of upgrade, you did do, was an Express upgrade or did you do a custom clean install?

• Question about activating windows and media used for installation

  Intel Visual BIOS 2 my computer on board DZ87KLT - 75 K (Firmware updated) can not detect the optical drive as boot EFI device. So I made a bootable USB flash drive to my system OEM Windows 7 Pro x 64 DVD manufacturer who (USB flash drive) my system detect successfully as efi boot device. My question is if I do a windows 7 clean install with EFI enabled using the flash drive on the same computer that runs this window for the last 9 months, there will be an activation problem to not use the DVD?

• Question about the Directory migration whole app.

  Hello everyone, we are upgrading 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.2.3 Essbase. As part of the migration as you know it is supposed to copy the app on the new server (target) directory. My question is the source server must be down when this app directory is get copied to the target server? On our dev server, the copy took 12 hours. So, we are looking for ways to cut down on production time. The essbase, staging of tool stops the server source essbase as part of the migration, then is one of the following steps to copy the app directory. Once the copy has been started can the essbase server to start (to reduce the downtime) while copying is in progress or is it a necessity that the source must be down. Thanks for your suggestions.

  I'd either reduce Essbase or have the apps in read only mode you don't want locks on files while trying to copy, you can also if you have a problem with the time he copies to your target could not do you it in two steps copy the local app directory to its current location which should be fast , and then copy the directory to the target, that way at least you can get Essbase if you can get some success on performance when copying files.

• Question about activation of Flash cards

  My laptop is a Satellite PSB3E 200. If I click on the Flash cards in the start menu, the cards are activated and they were seen with the FN button. However from my pc once more that flash cards are not activated.
  In order to solute the problem I downloaded and installed the utility from the site of Toshiba flash cards.

  However running the driver I got notification of the serial number is not valid. Who can help me?

  I don't really know what model of laptop you have, but what you can do is remove the additional package of the system and install the latest version available on the Toshiba download page.

  After having done that, everything should work well.

• Question about activation.

  I am running an activated version of Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit.  I have improved my memory and I would like to install the 64-bit version.  My question before re-formatting, will I have hedges by installing the 64-bit operating system of the same version of Windows that I purchased on my system now.  I understand when you but the retail version you can install a version of 32 or 64-bit.  If you install one that means you can't install and activate a if you need to install it later?  Please respond so I can go ahead with the installation of the 64-bit ASAP...

  Active Data Guard is a database of "Reader". I don't think there is a process that turns automatically off of load to it.

• Problem/Question about the form Variables and nesting?

  I need to create a fairly long list of checkboxes for a user to fill out.  I created a table of database with each checkbox item stored as a line, and using a cfquery I can select in the database and add them to a form as such:

  The problem is when I try to refer to these items on the next page.

  Instead of naming each one individually, I was hoping to use another query to pull the name of the box and be able to reference it.

  Problem seems to be that I can't refer to them as a variable name, I thought I could do something like this:

  #form.shortname #.

  < / cfoutput >

  .. but it does not work because #form.shortname # is not a valid variable.  What I really need, is form #. # getquestions.shortname #, if that makes sense.  Is this possible?  Nesting of a variable inside a variable name name?

• Problem with the Active Directory plugin

  I am trying to create some decom workflow automation based on the Microsoft/AD plugin (version 1.0.5) on my box of vCO 5.5.2. I'm running into a weird error and I hope that someone can help you.

  Right now, just trying to take advantage of the ActiveDirectory.searchExactmatch () function to return an AD:ComputerAD object. The script is the following:

  My workflow takes as input of type string, type ActiveDirectory AD:ActiveDirectory name and has an attribute of type actionResult AD:ComputerAD. I am constantly getting this error - TypeError: cannot find searchExactmatch function in the object notfound. (Workflow: fast / Scriptable task (item1) #54823) - apparently, which indicates that the AD:ActiveDirectory object is not found.

  
  

  Maybe there is something to permissions for this, but I ran the workflow as a domain administrator and I still have this error. When I run the workflow, I am able to successfully navigate my AD resource:

  Are you really sure that you have an input parameter named ActiveDirectory? ActiveDirectory is a singleton object script, so it's not really appropriate for the input parameter. Singletons are visible everywhere in the script code, and you can use . (...) to call its methods.

  BTW, by setting convention names must not start with the capital letter; for example. Name should be the name. Please stick to this convention in order to avoid name conflicts.

  Then it seems that you misspelled the name of the method that call you. Instead of searchExactmatch we searchExactMatch (with capital "M").

• Problem/question about library by default DPS (HTML template)

  I created an application with DPS using the library by default DPS and model html.
  When I test the app on my desktop (so I comment on the "libs/AdobeLibraryAPI.js' include in index.html) everything works fine. But when I test the app on my smartphone (I used the Adobe App Builder for Android web service to generate the my application .apk file, and I signed it), the installation of app is ok and I can run it, but it does not display the same thing on my previous test on my desk.
  It features a library of folios instead of a menu (that I created using the html template in the library by default DPS). Someone has an idea of what is going on please?

• Active Directory plugin does not work correctly

  I'm having some weird problems with the Active Directory plugin uses the native vCO in vCAC.

  • When I use virtually any element of the workflow associated with the AD plugin I get a UI glitch and cannot select anything, this happens especially with the AD:Host selector.
  • When I use the AD:OU selector I can only watch the OUs that are at the root of the domain and can not enter in the OU structure.
  • When I use the ActiveDirectory.search function I have still no matches.
  • I get a lot of these errors for various object in the newspapers: [ADObjectFactory] error creating object ID: OR OR = Groups, DC =, DC = domain
    

  
  

  So far, I tried the following:

  • Updated the host AD to use different users who have domain administrator rights.
  • Tried to change the host to use the catalogue global (3268) and regular LDAP port (389)
  • Restart the services server and vCO several times.
  • Temporary files deleted through the configurator.

  Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? The ad server is Server 2012.

  So I thought that the problem. When you configure endpoint AD you must specify the root of the advertising in the field of the ldapBase. If there is a space after the comma that separates values DC (dc =, dc = server) you will end up with the weird error state.

• Droid wired headset problem/Question

  Hello

  Anyone else have a problem with the volume being really quiet or silent call on wired headset plugged on Droid?

  The 3.5 mm jack seems to work in music mode very well. I can hear MP3s sound level expected, however, when in call volume helmet falls to zero or almost zero level and cannot be increased. Other callers can hear me (the microphone works) but I do not hear their return or sound extremely tiny.

  I tried with two headphone 3.5 mm to 4 different drivers - iPhone and Blackberry - two I have this problem on appeal and at the same time, both are great for listening to music. I first noticed this problem after 2.0.1 OTA update 2.0 original. Recent update 2.1 has not solved this problem.

  I saw a big bunch of "similar sounding but NOT the same" problem/questions about integrated earpiece does not work once the headset is disconnected. I don't seem to have this problem. The problem I am describing applies to the volume wired headset for calls only.

  If you get it replaced make sure you only change the SD card to the new.  Then, you won't lose any of these data.  You can save all your texts on the SD card with an application called SMS Backup & Restore.  The first time you open Market and tap Menu-> downloads it will show you all of your applications.  Paid and free.  If you leave this same screen so before installing all the they will disappear.  Write all your apps prior would be a good thing to do.  I hope this helps.
