MBPro stops during startup.  If I continually move the mouse during startup, it will go on my desk.  If I launch Firefox and try to do anything, it stops.  This can be corrected?

Mac Book Pro stops unexpectedly during startup.  I can get it to go to my office, if I continually move the mouse during the boot, but after I launched Firefox and try to do anything, it will stop.  If I try to run the scans of security or reinstall OS X using the command + R and disk utilities, it stops.  Sometimes it gives me a box saying something about stopping with various options such as Cancel, stop, reboot, etc., but it makes no difference that I click on, she stops.  Sometimes, I get no warning at all.  This can be corrected?  I'm not savvy Mac.

Reset the SMC could solve problem then.

    Just bought this laptop, original thought it was a big improvement on my Aspire 3 year!   Last problem after doing a full scan with McAfee is the touch pad or remote control will move the cursor but will not open other than McAfee programs.   The Windows (bottom left) symbol does not illuminate when the cursor is over it and I am unable to use the windows key + C to get the bar of charms.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    http://www.Compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • Help! Movement of the object of continuous when the mouse is over - ActionScript 3.
    Hello! I'm working on a school project. Here is a picture of what I'm working on.
    Screen shot 2010-09-18 at 7.49.34 PM.png
    My cursor in this film is the heart. When I move my mouse on Hello Kitty, she jumps - but only once. How can I make him keep jumping when my mouse is above it and make its judgment jump when I pull away? Here is the code below. If you can help that would be great!
    Also, because I'm new to ActionScript I might have messed up with the movement of the animation. Hello Kitty used to jump all the time without doing me anything. Then I copied the code of movement in my ACTIONS layer to the Hello Kitty object code stop(); . She is not jumping all the time, just at the time when my mouse flies over her... but she jumps only once and that's the problem. I want it to keep jumping until my mouse is above it. Help, please! Thank you!!!
  • Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed
    Hello
    I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.
    I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.
    So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.
    The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.
    I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.
    I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.
    Thank you in advance for your help!
  • When I pick something, it will be automatically moved / dragged around when I move the mouse
    I have a very strange problem. Whenever I pick something (using the normal selection tool or the direct Selection tool), I can't do anything without moving the selected items. So for example I select something (by clicking 1 times with my left mouse button) and then I want to move my mouse to do something else (select another tool, select something else, whatever). When I move the mouse the selected object (form?) will move there (after a short delay). So the object will end where my mouse was, say, half a second after that I started to move the mouse. This makes working with Illustrator almost impossible that you will have to cmd + z whenever you select an item. Right click also do not works for me if I hold my mouse always at the place where I selected the object, the only option I seem to continue is to move my mouse, which of course, you usually want to do.
    I reinstalled Illustrator already, manually deleted the folder ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS6 settings /, and I tried it with a different mouse. None of this solves the problem. Photoshop works well. I compared the behavior with the Illustrator on another computer, and it is certainly not correct.
    I use Illustrator 16.0.4 (CS6) on OS X 10.8.3. As far as I know, I have no 3rd party plug-ins. I couldn't find anything on other people having similar problems.
    Someone at - it an idea? Or otherwise, I am afraid that I have to reinstall my Mac together with an OS fresh and everything...
    I tried to use the guest on my Mac account. In the guest account, Illustrator works perfectly!
    Then I started wondering what process (Tools/tweaks) I run by default on my account. Tour off the problem was called by a small background tool called RightZoom. RightZoom let's the green button "zoom in" always expand your active window.
    So thank you! Problem solved!
  • Slide the break to move the mouse
    I want to create an interactive slide that tells a student to move the mouse to a specific area on the screen. In doing so, the presentation will continue. I can only do this with a combination of keys or click of a mouse now.
    Any suggestions?
    I created a widget that would do this for example Captivate 1 HERE
    It also works with Captivate 2
    Please run a full scan of your system with the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner (these two security tools are free).
    Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious software
  • I have to move the mouse to load pages
    Hello
    I am running version 34.0 Firefox and I have to move the mouse to load pages or videos. I don't have to do this problem in Internet Explorer, Firefox only.
    This problem can be caused by malicious software.
    Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
    Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
    All of these programs have free versions.
    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.
    Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.
