MDS process

What is the process of mds? Fans of my MBP running quite often so I kept the activity monitor to see what is happening. Flash Player is often the cause - surprise, surprise - but I also noticed that SDM is just as likely to appear as the CPU hog, pointing up in the 1990s for the percentage of CPU for several minutes at a time.

Process of MDS (Metadata Server) is a projector part bones.

Here you can find more information about MDS:

  • Problem in sending the request to the server, MDS started after expired connection error

    Hello

I have a problem when sending request to the server. I need to manage the time of connection error. When I send a request from my device to serve and connection time-out error, I need to send the request back to the server.  To test this error, before sending the request, the MDS quit and then I try sends the request to the server. After 2 minutes, the appliance up Connection Timed out Error.

Now when I start the MDS and refer the request to the server, the request sent when the connection has expired also reached the server. (Totally 2 request are sent to the server).

What is the behaviouir of MDS? If so how should I handle this.

or have I missed something on my side?

I use BlackBerry 4.2.1 JDE with SDM (4.5.0)

    Thanks in advance.

(Note: see this link for the behavior of MDS.)

    Hi all,

    I finally found the solution.

Everytime I go to start the net, I check that the connection is available or not by using below codes...

    HttpConnection conn=null;try    {    conn = (HttpConnection) getConnection(myURL);      if(conn == null)     {           Inform the user the process is in offline       }     catch(Exception e)      {      }      finally      {                try                {                    conn.close();                    conn = null;                }                catch (Exception e)                {                    conn = null;                }            }

When this function is execute the connection is not closed properly.

After that I got the connection error, start the MDS, meanwhile runs unclosed connection.

Now, I removed the check above, its works very well.

I made a mistake. Finally, I saw that and correct it.

Once again thanks for all your opinions and answer.

    Sorry for my English.

Thank you very much in advance,
    Jose.

It seems that this is caused by the web.xml context parameter to the following address:

    com.sun.faces.faceletCache

    oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.facelets.rich.MDSFaceletCache

Try to remove and the error will go away, it is perhaps that the parameter is no longer valid... or something else interferes.

  • 1 WSDL include multi BPEL processes?

    Hello

I use Jdev 12.1.3, I create multi BPEL processes and deploy on the server, the problem is that each BPEL process have different WSDL link, it means that if I have 10 BPEL process, then I have 10 different WSDL link, how can I get 1 WSDL include multi method (process BEPL)

    Thank you

    Hi Hani,

You can create a WSDL with several operations. Then, you can use the pick activity to respond on different operations. Replace the first reception in the with a pickaxe and be sure to check the box 'create a forum '. See http://blog.darwin-it.nl/2009/12/multi-operations-bpel.html. (I think this example is BPEL 1.1, but it works for BPEL 2.0 accordingly).

For the re-use of wsdl in several SOA Suite components, store an abstract version of the wsdl file in the MDS and reference it by using the "oramds://apps/...". "URL in the Compsite.xml see, for example Oracle SOA / Java blog: SOA Suite PS6 (11.1.1.7); Loose coupling and chips of service.

  • JDeveloper comes with 12 c BPM does not display the MDS configuration during application deployment window

    Hello!

We have developed the ADF application using MDS. We mainly use it to set the configuration of BC ADF (am pool properties) when running in EM.

When we deploy our application usually JDeveloper 12.1.3 to standalone WLS JDeveveloper shows "Oracle Deployment Configuration" window, where we can specify properties MDS: repository name and the name of the Partition.

    Deployment_configuration_window.jpeg

If we deploy the same application to JDeveloper 12.1.3 shipped by BPM to the same autonomous WLS, Jdeveloper shows this window.

Deploy goes without any additional question, but we can not access MDS for our application!

EM, we cannot change configuration ADF BC during execution. Other features that require MDS, also does not work.

In EM-> ApplicationDeployments-> our application-> MDS Configuration EM displays the following message: the SDM configuration information is not found. This application doesn't use MDS repository or repository MDS may not have been configured properly.

    MDS_Configutaion-page-in-EM.png

So my question is: how to set MDS configuration in JDeveloper comes with BPM?

    Thank you

    Boris

OK, I compared the EAR generated file in Jdeveloper ordinary with file EAR generated by JDeveloper comes with BPM.

I found the difference in the ADF - config.xml.

EAR usually has the following line:

    ===

    http://xmlns.Oracle.com/ADF/MDS/config "" >http://xmlns.oracle.com/mds/config "version ="11.1.1.000"> "

    ===

JDeveloper comes with BPM EAR didn't.

I added this line to adf - config.xml in my source project. Now BPM Jdeveloper show "Deployment of Oracle Configuration" window during the deployment process.

And I am able to change the configuration of BC ADF in MS when running.

    Thank you.

    I found the solution!

I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

    1 DirectDB

    2. the discovery

    3 SOAConfig

    > Reboot the server of the IOM.

I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

    Thank you.

  • MDS-00013 may not find metadata in the metadata object

    Hello

We have just improved Middleware 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.8 and our app is a failure because of the MDS-00013 error: no metadata not found for the metadata object '{0} '. the action defined in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/core.1111/e10113/chapter_mds_messages.htm says that I need to "confirm the name and the location of the metadata object, its existence in the metadata stores configured, and is it in an accessible namespace.

Can someone please enumerate the steps I must follow to do this?

I looked in the table metadata database and found an entry for the object and there is a file to this location when I export the metadata. I have no idea what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

I now have access to a support account and read through the notes. None of them were applicable to my situation. It turns out that the server has been configured and our file extended.spaces.webapp.war was not active and so the customization process was only half deployed.

I would like to ask if there is a support link or a solution to this problem I am facing as I may be able to see the BPM process spaces in Webcenter spaces.

    Hi Jeff,

His search that BPM is not correctly configured for a reason, the exact origin could not be identified. You can try two things: -.

    1. run the following command from the Ant and restart the Admin and managed servers
    Ant f install.xml post-install - DpiArgs - importGSOnly

    2. If Oracle BPM and WebCenter have been set up in different domains, configure the credentials of domain trust in the areas of the Oracle BPM and WebCenter.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E23943_01/Web.1111/e13707/domain.htm#SECMG404

If the problem is still there, you can open the SR with Oracle and also take a look at the following bug which was released on May 24, 2012.
Bug 13894890 : [SUP] ERROR NO METADATA FOUND BY METADATA OBJECT "/ WEB-INF/PROCESSAPPLICATIONST.

  • which is to process form data in controller

    Hello friends,

which is to process form data in controller? I do not see to treat form data when I created controller, what is the importance of use to process form data in controller? exactly what scenario we can use in our application OFA?

According to the jdevguide, I could not clarify this below.

In most, if not all, of the pages that you generate, you will have no cause to override this method. In fact, the only use case we could think is extremely unlikely in an OA Framework application: If the source of data for a region is not a view object, instance and the view attribute properties are not defined for individual web beans, then you could processFormData() of the region code to write the child web data in the appropriate data source bean. Note: The OA framework implements processFormData() at the level of the item, but you can overwrite it only at the level of the regions, so you must treat all elements of the region if you never implement anything like this. If you choose to implement something like that, don't forget first call super.processFormData (pageContext OAPageContext, OAWebBean webBean).

    Thank you
    Krish.

which is to process form data in controller?

When a user submits the page, the processFormData() method is called. The responsibility of this method is to transfer the value of the fields on the screen in the cache.

This cache is not the same as MDS cache. You can think of it as being sort of a cache of data for the user's session.

    Thank you
    -Anil

  • How to get the Composite wsdls to MDS

    Hello guys,.
I tried to download the wsdl Composite created using the constructor of Service of AIA to the MDS. I have been using AIAHarvester with Jdeveloper.

Followed the steps mentioned below in the document Readme

To install the AIAHarvester Ant tasks in SOA Suite 11 g or JDeveloper 11 g:

    -Close open sessions of Jdeveloper.

-Unzip the file AIAHarvester. You should end up with a file AIAHarvester containing the contents of this zip file.

-Edit tools11g.xml to match your install of JDeveloper.
Replace every occurrence of "$harvester.location$" with the location of the extracted folder AIAHarvester.

-Merge the content of tools11g.xml in the XML of your JDeveloper product preferences.
    It is located in ${JDEV_USER_HOME}\system11.1.xxxxxx\o.jdeveloper\product-preferences.xml.
    Then insert the lines:
If there is an existing entry "< n ="hash oracle.ideimpl.externaltools.ExternalToolList ' >, replace it with the contents of tools11g.xml.
If not, add it just after the initial element < ide: preferences >.

-Start JDeveloper. Under Tools | External tools, you should see two new items:
-Send this file to AIA of the lifecycle and REL
-Present this lifecycle of AIA and REL
-Apply to the life cycle of AIA and REL

    -For each of these
    -Select
    -Click on 'change '.
-Click the 'Properties' tab and configure the missing properties to point to your server REL, server SOA and DB of the life cycle.

-To point to an external "HarvesterSettings.xml file: Add a property called 'settings.file' and set the value to the URL of the settings file, a.
    for example, "c:\temp\MyHarvesterSettings.xml".

-To run one of the tools:
-Select a file in the browser "Applications".
-Right click and select 'Submit this file to AIA of the lifecycle and ADR' or 'Submit this project to AIA of the lifecycle and ADR' or 'submit this request to AIA of the lifecycle and Release '.
-"Send this file on the life cycle of AIA and REL" will reap just the selected file. (This works for zippers zipper and pots too).
-NOTE: JDeveloper 11 does not support select multiple correctly the external tools. Even if select you more than one file will be harvested.
-"Present this lifecycle of AIA and REL" will be simply all of the selected project.
-' Submit this request to the AIA and OER lifecycle' will be all projects in the title of the selected Application.

Trying to harvest composite wsdl using jdev. I get the following error indicating the harvest mode not set. But I have the properties set AIA as the harvest Mode.

    Concerning

    Hello

Update the WSDL Composite MDS files follow the steps below.

1 FTP WSDL for AIAMetaData/AIAComponents/ApplicationConnectorServiceLibrary files
    2. Update UpdateMetaDataDP.xml in aia_instances/AIA_DEV/config with the WSDL files composite path placed in AIAMetaData/AIAComponents/ApplicationConnectorServiceLibrary
3 set the variables of approx. /aia_instances/AIA_DEV/bin/aiaenv.sh
    4. run the UpdateMetaData.xml ant script in AIA11.1.1.2.0/Infrastructure/Install/scripts.
    5. check if the Sucessful.Refresh to build the MDS in JDev and check the new wsdl in AIAMetaData/AIAComponents/ApplicationConnectorServiceLibrary.

Foregoing, all the steps are very well illustrated in the section update MDS Developer's guide.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards
    Rahul

  • Loading the XML file inside a Bpel process

    Hello
I have a bpel process in which I read an xml file that is in the MDS, in this xml file I find information if certain values, so my question is if, every time I execute the command to search for the information contained in the XMLFile step open the file?
    I use the following sentence:
    oraext:Lookup-XML('oramds:/apps/Fer_Common/XML/Error.XML','/errorCodes/ErrorCode','name','value',bpws:getVariableData('Variable_2'))

Is it possible to load only once in the first call of bpel process?, I mean, I don't want to load the file whenever I need to read something from the xml.
    Concerning
    Yuri

    Hello
DVMs are also accessible from the BPEL. You can create an assign activity, and in the expression builder, you have a set of functions called features DVM. You can use these functions to search in the DS.
You can also use the same functions in the transformations.
