  my laptop 'freezes' during BIOS 'PHOENIX' updated 2 years ago.
  SERVICE told to change the motherboard, the price as new pc, so I bought new laptop.

  I keep looking at the toshiba forum always, so I read a lot of information on the MODE of RECOVERY from CRISIS.
  so I tried to check my laptop died after 2 years.

  My satellite M100 starts in crisis recovery mode Fn + B.

  I did the flash with the CRISDISK 1.0.0.4 USB key program, but I'm not sure I did it way right!

  As Akuma writes that you should try a USB FDD instead a USB key. Key USB is supported only on new models of laptops, but as far as I know USB FDD will be always supported.

  In any case, just for your information: you should know what you're doing. It is a delicate and risky procedure and in the worst cases you might destroy the whole ROM module but if you already have a new laptop I think that it s a problem for you. ;)

• No video in the playback with mercury HW mode window

  All of a sudden there is no video shown in the window reading, the source monitor, and when you play the thumbnails in the media browser or viewer of the project. This only happens when you use the hw of mercury playback mode. I use a computer portable 64-bit windows 7 with Nvidia GTX 660 M video card and Adobe Premiere CS6. Even the installation of the last beta driver from Nvidia (340.xx) has not solved the problem.

• Measure the resistance with PXI DMM 4072 on different frequencies

  Hi all

  I tried to get on board various and unable to find solutions for that. I'm trying to measure resistance using NI PXI-4072 on frequencey 1 kHz, but not luck. When I try to use Agilent LCR meter I see the correct value of the resistance.

  I've seen a few posts on this but don't have no satisfactory solutions.

  I checked the data sheet and the method of measurement described in the specifications of the NI 4070/4072 http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371304g.pdf; indicates that the ability is measured using an alternating signal and select the test frequency range, for example 3 kHz, 1kH or 91 Hz. The resistance is simply measured using a DC signal, and it is often sufficient to measure the internal resistance of a battery. If you need a more flexible control for the measurement, you probably get a card like the function generator and then set a multimeter to measure the voltage and another DMM to measure the current and calculate the impedance of these values.

• Satellite M50 does not start, go back to the screen with different start modes

  My Satellite M50-130 does not start correctly. When you turn it on, it goes to a black DOS screen, saying: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "It offers me different start modes: Safe Mode, with networking and command prompt. Last good Configuration known; and start Windows normally.

  I tried all the 5 options, gets the commissioning insofar as the Toshiba screen, but then with all the options, it returns to the initial screen offering the 5 modes of starting. Same thing happens when laptop works again.

  The only recent software change, I've done was an update to Norton AntiVirus/Internet Security and I suspect that Norton is at least part of my problem, see history below. I know it's the Toshiba support site, but I tried Norton so many times without success, I gave up. Plus, I'm no expert at all, so I can't be sure that it is really the source of all my sorrows. All advice welcome!

  The performance of my laptop has deteriorated seriously in the last two months. She is extremely slow, and cleaning of malware and unwanted General does not help. It began right after that I renewed the license of Norton last year and upgraded to the 2007 version. The worst downturns are always connected to direct upcoming Norton upgrade programs.   I think the only way to make your system works correctly again is to restore with the cdrom of onboard catering. Simply manage to save your data from your hard drive (the best way would be to put your machine's HARD drive in a USB - HDD enclosure and copy important data on another computer), then wipe the system completely off you hdd.

  There may be a problem with the networking, can you start the server in debug mode and see if you can see an IP address for your service console. If you can see the ip address, you have a network card, you place your order to change, try to use the right physical NIC card mapped to the vSwtich0 who was there at the beginning when the machine was working.

  Thanks for posting your question on the forum of National Instruments.

  Unfortunately, you can't have a RTD (generally with a PT100 probe) measure on a module 9211.

  9211 module is dedicated to the use of thermocouples.

  I suggest that you use a 9217 or 9219 rather (more information here).

  I want to monitor the error log of MYSQL with my Plugin database and want to make the metric display in the user interface to allow users to know what is the content of the error log. I have a big problem to do this. What I do now is line number each time after registration log scanning errors, and the script will use the number to know where the beginning for the next scanning process. The whole process works fine as long as no one click on the metric in "All the metrics" page, which will trigger the execution of my errorlog script followed to get data in real time. Then changed the line number and content between these two line number of error will not be transferred to the WHO. It seems that there is no way to ban users click on the metric. :(

  The behavior that you saw in the database product seems to be a product of using a USER by scope property in the QueryDescriptor. USER scope indicates that the property value must be specified interactively by the user or by placing it in the collection file.

  So, I saw not someone do this, then you have to play with these instructions to operate on right...

  Step 1:
  Put a property with USER scope in the QueryDescriptor of your metric system:
  uprop

  I don't think that you can still use this property. It should be enough that it is configured.

  Step 2:
  In your preferred collection file, in your MetricColl put an ItemProperty to measure the user with some sort of default:
  foo

  What it must do, is to allow normal to continue collections because they will use the value for a property of element in the collection by default file, but it will prevent the real-time collection of the metric given that this value will not be filled.

  This property can appear on the page of the metrics and policy settings, so blandly call enough where users think to do anything with it...

  The IFE can be used to show what part of the system should provide the largest increase in performance when it is upgraded. For example, a computer with the lower under-score in his memory, would benefit more than an upgrade of RAM to add a faster hard drive (or any other component).
