Mechanism on the paper feed rollers came out HP Officejet Pro 8500

I tried to fix my printer and accidentally jumped the paper feeder mechanism:

Now, I can't do it. Anyone know where I can find a manual or video showing how to install it?

Hi lpage1975,

It would be too complicated that I suggested you take the printer to nearest service HP close to home center?

I mean because parts of the roll may be damaged and the best way to who should have the engineer

Test it as it puts the rear roll in and make sure that it is in full the terms of use before bring you it home.

In this case things could go wrong. Please use our HP call center to locate the center of service close to home.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more simple solution. Hope you'll get fixed soon!

  • Unanswered: how to turn off the light touch screen with an HP Officejet Pro 8500 has?

    Hello

I have a new HP Officejet Pro 8500 connected via WiFi and all A910g seems to work very well (after solving some Comodo firewall settings on the PC network).

However, the light of the touchscreen is quite annoying when the screen is not necessary. Only a few times, I noticed the light went away, but I can't find an option to control that. Normally, the light just stay on (all night too) all by displaying commercial product tour. I really want this boring commercial to go and have a time-out to a black screen that opens again when they are hit. I can't imagine that the functionality is not yet there, but where?

    Kind regards

    -Charles

    Hello

Post the rather unexpected answer myself.

There is also an option of installation menu (in English). Tools | Screen saver.

It is also an On / Off radio button.

If you think setting the screen saver 'On' would be empty the screen after a timeout, you got it all wrong, as if I were.

The screensaver is actually the commercial product tour rehearsal.

The "Off" screen saver setting had the desired effect. "

    Kind regards

My HP Officejet pro 8500 A909a is NOT a wireless printer.  It is connected via a USB port.

I tried both find and download the drivers for this printer and also using the wizard to download and installation of HP (hppiw.exe).  The download was interrupted just by using the method and when you use the wizard it correctly identified the printer, but then I get the message

"the download was cancelled.  You can click the "start over" button to try again. »

the retry button just returns the same message after a short.

  • The presentation of the HP product continually flashes on my Officejet Pro 8500 Premium a

I need to know why this constantly on the screen with ads appeared suddenly just a couple of days and how to disable them. The ads are the presentation of the HP product that appears under the icon to discover.  HP has had to update my settings. I certainly did not have it.  He also turned on APPS that I have no use for.

None of the solutions presented in a book in the previous question.  The only good thing that seems emerged from this update without notice is that the printer seems to turn on in ready mode faster and winding seems faster.

HP - I still need a solution.  This constant reverse Energy Star savings.

Thank you.  It turns out that the tour WAS the screen saver!  I do not change this setting.  It has changed itself?

Once I turned the screensaver off, the Tower disappeared.  Now, it's actually to SAVE the screen with the OFF position.  How backwards is that?

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 'in paper' error message

Someone had the same problem?  Brand new printer, but continue to receive the same message 'in paper' after a few cycles of impression - even though the bin is full.  I take the paper and the restacks.  Usually works after that, but never fails to do it again.  Same paper that I use in all other printers - Xerox.  Good quality.  The problem seems to be that the rolls are not delivered in the paper in the tray.  I went to Costco, it's the second printer - same problem.  Any ideas to fix? Very frustrating.

What does not and has worked for me... Partial Reset, printer replacement, different paper, fanning and otherwise setting paper, parameters, all did not help.  However, cleaning the paper feed rollers tray up to fix the problem.  My first camera was not often, but I was too stubborn to clean the rollers on a new printer.  The second unit was very bad, fails on almost every multi-page print job.  What is strange is that the first sheet feed almost always correctly and the second sheet or later version doesn't have to feed, which suggests a software problem (vs dirty rollers).  After a lot of time in Chat with HP, I finally gave and clean the paper feed rollers tray and power (so far) problems disappeared.  Cleaning was not as strong an I thought it might be.  I used a damp lint and feel achieved in forward into the cavity of the paper tray and wiped the rolls through several rounds of each.  I really hope that this is the solution because it is a very nice printer otherwise.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 a: HP Officejet Pro 8500 has come looking for the paper.

Hello and thanks for any advice.  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 started a clicking then that he was trying to pick up the paper for printing a document and then received a paper error output (bin was full).  I removed all the paper and found a small plastic piece 1/4 inches long and looks like a piece of home (he's not... looks like only). I replaced the paper and tried to print.  I opserved that the mechanism of paper collection has diminished, but the wheels do not turn. I manually pushed a piece of paper in front of the van and it printed.  The collection of paper wheel is the problem... is there an available spare part?

    Hi dwaryk,

Thanks for joining the forums of HP's Support with your request.

I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer that seems to have lost perhaps a part and the mechanism of paper collection has stopped working. I'll help you as best I can.

I checked the list of replaceable parts for this printer and who find that the mechanism of collecting paper is not a replaceable piece by customer. If the printer is broken, a replacement may be your only option.

I suggest you contact HP support. They could have an option to replace/upgrade the printer that you could save a few dollars to the retail costs.

What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500: Paper feeding problems

Why my printer HP Officejet Pro 8500 has constant pain to pick up the first sheet of paper, when the 'Print' is selected.  He invariably through a blank sheet and then gives the message "on paper" when the paper is in the tray.  It's same with envelopes.  Frustrating!

The troubleshooting in the here document steps can help solve problems loading the paper in the printer Officejet 8500.  Please go through all the steps in order.

  • Problems with the operation of the Second paper tray - HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

I will be happy to help you with this problem.

The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

Let me know how it goes.

My Hp Officejet Pro 8500 has is way big text/image printing and cutting half of the page. How can I fix?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, I unplugged and re-plugged, I looked in the settings and do not see where I can change the print size. Any suggestions?

    Hi @lucky33,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see when you print on your HP Officejet Pro 8500 a text is very large, so it prints on several pages. You have tried without success, some troubleshooting steps.

You try to print a document or an element of a web page? What program or browser you use?

If you are using a Windows operating system, please try the following:

    1. open an Internet Explorer browser, go to the far right click on the gear icon

    2. Select Print Preview

    3. now along the top, you will see an option to change the size of the page, please make sure that it is set to adjust or 100%.

    4. now, try a test page, the text is expanded?

Now go ahead and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

-It has been designed by HP users troubleshooting and problems characteristic needed to solve many common problems encountered with HP print and scan products related to Windows computers.

Please let me know the results.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 best has come out very low but the printer works fine.

I was always able to make great copies.  The quality of the document that I copy is excellent and I've copied before.  Now everything I copy is very low and cannot be read.  The printer works without any problem.

    Hey 1265yankee,

I see that you have a problem of quality of the copy with your Officejet Pro 8500 (A910) a model-all-in-one.  Have you tried to reset the printer hard and ensured that the device is connected to a wall outlet directly?

    • Unplug the printer while on
    • Unplug the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly
    • Wait 30 to 60 seconds
    • Plug the unit back to

Also, take a look at the steps in the document found here.  The document is not directly applicable in the present case, but the steps are the same for your question.

Let me know how it goes.  If this does not solve your problem, then I have the steps to perform a factory reset on this product to see if an internal reset will be able to get the device to work as expected.
