  You can if you wish.  Just set your desktop programs (Outlook, Media Player, notebook, Photo Viewer) to be the default manager. You can even use a start 'XP style' menu without additional work like that if you want to:

  I think it must have something to do with the way Excel print multiple copies queued several unique copies that print spooler one by one. It feels as if the spooler is being overwhelmed by the simple copies repeated being pulled on her by the Excel print routine.

  Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that you have problems printing multiple copies of Excel. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

  The application you are printing from, go to file, print, number of copies, select 2. Uncheck the Collate box. You can now change the number of copies. Collate should now stay disabled.  Try to reprint the document of several pages.

  If the problem persists, perform a clean boot on the computer and disable the Antivirus software. How to perform a clean boot in Windows. Then try to reprint the multiple documents.

  Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities. Before you start the troubleshooting steps, I need the required information:

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  ·         What is the brand and model of the printer?

  ·         The question is limited to this application?

  Follow these methods.

  Method 1: Perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

  After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

  (a) click Start, run.

  (b) type msconfigand click OK.

  (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

  (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

  (e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

  Method 2: Do a system restore and check.

• Windows Media Player 12: can you download videos on this version?

  Just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 operating system and the new Windows Media Player 12 installed. With older versions of media player, I could easily download videos and others from the internet that I backed up on an external hard drive.  What to do on the new version 12?   I was troubleshooting video playback issues throughout the morning after the reconstruction of a machine with a fresh install of W7 Ultimate, shot a few questions there.

  The first and foremost reason I couldn't play THE VIDEOS was due to the ATI Rage video card that was in the machine, proved that this card was not compatible for playback of DVD video on W7.  No problem with the system of video files (.avi, .mpg, .mp4, etc.), only reading DVD.  Disabling this card and media player running with a standard VGA device allowed me to play regular DVD movies very well.

  Another question, I stumbled on was with burned copies of the DVD, it turned out that my system DVD players, (2, one is a HP630E and the other is a typical ATAPI DVD DD internal 8 x 16), have a problem with playing movies engraved on DVD - RW discs.  Playing discs DVD-R worked well on this system.

  So in your case I try to disable the video device and let the system first use a VGA Standard, if your video plays well then check with the making of video for a updated driver device, saying "you have made any changes" does not mean that the system did not have a bad patch somewhere...

  Creating the API you could use a configuration profile. If it's a development of a distribution one ad hoc, you choose what devices the IPA is allowed to work on.

  So, to make an ad hoc distribution profile that includes all devices on your iPhone Developer account and make the API using this profile. Now, when you did the IPA, you can give it to the people who own these devices.

  If they are all your own devices (or the people that you see every day) you could connect each of them to your Mac and use Xcode window Organizer or peripheral (according to the version of Xcode you are using), and then drag the IPA in the list of Applications for the device.

  If the devices are owned by other people that you do not get to see, you can either send the IPA to them and that they would use iTunes to get it on their device, or if you can put the IPA online you can send a link to them, and they can install the IPA directly from the web page.

  The web server will need to be HTTPS, you cannot use HTTP services from iOS 7.1 is released. To post the IPA online, you can use this utility:

  Is there a way to take a single component .mxml and making multiple copies of it?

  I have an application where the user can page the different screens.  Each screen should fade out and do slip away while the following blades.  There must be two active copies at some point, because the user needs to see both the old and the new animation at the same time.  I work with an ActionScript class but the positioning of the elements, setting properties, etc., is much more difficult than with a MXML component.

  For example, I have an Image object, but I can't put the horizontalAlign, verticalAlign properties as you can in MXML.  They seem not to be exposed in ActionScript.  Or maybe I am doing wrong?
