Media Go kind of Playlist

Hello

Media Go playlist feature is not friendly at all. Despite this, Media Go is the only music library which is able to transfer playlists with success. That said, it should seriously implement a "sort playlist" function or "updating the playlist order". In Media Go, the only thing you can do is just to display to sort them (i.e. sort by artist/title), but the sort order is not saved in the playlist itself. It's especially annoying because I constantly update my library every month or with new songs and as the sort my playlist according to the title of the song then. Whenever I try to put the new songs in the playlist, it eventually always at the bottom of the list and never according to A - Z.

I hope everyone sees this or anyone in the forum that could suggest a work around for this problem.

Thank you

Thanks for the replies.

WMP has problems reading of characters not English so that I do not use it.

In any case, I discovered that if you want to sort by title, you

1) click on "Title" and it will sort out in A - Z or Z - A

(2) once sorted, select each song (CTRL + A) and just drag and fall back into the same playlist window (not the left column menu)

Yes, just in other words, select all the songs, click on and hold and move your mouse to a pixel.

    Hi Paul,.

The probable cause of this problem could be due to the 'Windows Media Player' is not defined as music player by default on your computer.

In Windows 8, Windows Media Player is more the default program to open files of music such as MP3 files.  If you want to make sure Windows Media Player is the multimedia player by default as if it was in previous versions of Windows, please follow the methods in the links below.

  • Windows XP Windows Media Player 11 won't burn Audio CD from Playlist but Windows Media Player 9 burn playlist

I'm trying to burn an audio cd using a playlist and the Windows Media Player built-in burning capability. I already went through the standard elements, changing CDs, shift etc.  The problem persists.

When I try to burn an audio cd from a playlist I get the following message "windows media player has encountered a problem when burning the file to disk"

I uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 and it is reverted to the version 9, version 9, I can burn audio CDs without problem and they play.

OK, I GOT AN UPDATE, these WMA files are sitting on a shared folder on a server.  Windows media player 9 is able to burn them without a problem. Windows Media Player 11 cannot until I have copy the files to the local disk.

Until Windows Media Player 11 changes forcing him not to work?

    Hi SupportTech2010,

    Method 1

Check if the problem persists in mode safe mode with network mode and post back with the details.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Method 2

If the problem does not persist in mode safe mode with networking mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. Click Start , and then click run.
    2. Type msconfig , and then click OK.
The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.
    3. Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services , and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

    Method 3

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you create a network drive in Windows and check if it helps.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Media Sync and iTunes Playlists

I have synced my playlists unprotected iTunes for my BB 8320 card support, but more than half of them appear 'No. Songs' when I open the playlist on the BB. However, the songs are really there because I can see and read on my computer if I open Desktop Manager and go to Roxio Media files to see the songs on the map. Any suggestions on how to get the songs to appear and play on the BB under Media?

Have you tried to remove the battery to reboot the device?

  • BlackBerry Media Sync 2.0 Playlist Grey Smartphones

I'm having a problem where Media Sync read / see my iTunes playlist but all items are grayed out.  Previous assignments, I saw that DRM can cause this problem but have the files on a network drive, it will do the same.  These are NOT DRM, so that shouldn't be the problem.  They ARE on a shared network drive by 2 computers.  I have more than 30 GB of music I want to pull down on a local drive.  Has anyone seen any resolution to this problem?

    Network drives do not work.

If you map the drive to a drive letter, I think it works around that.

  • I can edit more kinds of playlist is

Well, here's my gripe with iTunes 12.4, and I hope that someone who thought of it can hint me.  Before this upgrade, I could change how my playlists have been sorted.  I could sorted them by Playlist, which is essentially the order they are added, or by Genre/year/artist/Album/etc.  I can do it no longer.  I'll even provide a useful screen capture.

It is one of the many playlists as you can see I have and right above where you see "Edit Playlist", there was a drop down menu where you can change how the selection was resolved.  I wanted to change my fate for this playlist to 'Playlist order' rather than 'Year', but I can do it no longer.  Also, when I recently added, it now is a grid of albums, rather than the list on the right down that had participated in 12.3.  Where is the switch/button/keyboard command that will allow me to get back to that, because if I wanted my section recently added to look like this, I would have had it set up like this before now:

Any help/advice/comments, that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

  • Windows Media Player adding music/Playlist problems like reading list will not be updated

OK, so for some strange reason don't let not my WMP add me any music library. My music is in my music folder and when I click on individual songs they will open in the POM, but they will not remain in the library.

In addition, it doesn't let me update the playlists, I already have. In order for me to add to the playlist, I must open the play list, search for the song already in my library, add to playlist and save it like that.  (This means I can't create a new playlist). I tried right click and add to the playlist, but it does not work. In addition, I can't open the playlist to see the songs already in it. I can right click and play the playlist, which shows me what songs are in in the 'Now Playing' list, but it won't let me see without playing.

Personally I think that it could have been a buggy update, considering I've had this computer for months, and it has worked so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How is it going? A member of the team has scored this as replied, but I undercover until you have had a chance to update...

  • BlackBerry Media Sync Playlist smartphones loaded with "no songs".

Hello.  I was able to successfully get the media sync to work from XP on my 8830.  However, when I open a playlist I have synced, it displays "No. Songs."  If I have "expore" music files, I found a new "Media Sync" folder and playlist and songs are there and playable.  However, I can only see the playlist and cannot play or see the songs through the normal menus on my World Edition.  I appreciate any suggestions!

    Solved.

I deleted all the old roxio folders while the Media Sync folder remained.  Re sync has all my music with Media Sync.  Battery of corn.  WAITED a few minutes and everything is good.

  • Playlist formats

Apparently, my Ford Fusion is not compatible with the default playlist format (.) Uses PLA) than Windows Media Player.  I am able to do WMP to save playlists in the. M3U format and have confirmed that they are only in my music /My / my Playlists folder. However, when I synchronize playlists to my Sansa Clip + they go on. PLA format anyway (even if this file does not exist?).  Manually remove the. PLA file and copy the. For the Sansa M3U file doesn't seem to work.  Is there a way to synchronize between WMP and the Sansa as it transfers one. M3U playlist file?  I should mention that my music collection is stored on a hard disk of the computer other than the C: drive that contains my /My Music /My Playlist folder.  Maybe that's a problem?  If so, can I change the storage location of playlist by default other that the c: drive?  There is not enough space on my C: drive for all my music. Thanks for any help!

    Olderguy

If your stereo indexes unit, or trying to, you really need to find instructions for your stereo, because the stereo is running the firmware of its own - it is not let the Sansa choose music.

Stereo instructions should tell you what USB mode it expects and what kind of playlists, it reads.

My guess is that the car radio just waiting to find the stored music - mode MSC (Mass Storage Class), which you can use on the Sansa, making your USB connection see it as simple storage rather than a media (mode MTP/Media Transfer Protocol) device.

Your computer cannot see a mode at a time. When you change the mode of the Canada meteorological service, the music you sent to PSG becomes invisible to the computer. The Sansa is still when you disconnect, but you probably want to stick to a single mode.

In fact, it may end up being easier to make a pendrive of 32GB, put your music on it (and possibly with Winamp m3u playlists) and let the car radio the rest.

Moreover, PLA playlists always read as 0kb.  There is much more on playlists here:

  • Import playlist iTunes...

    Hi all

    I just tried to import playlist iTunes from another mac and got this message;

Some of the songs in the file "Music.txt" were not imported because they could not be found.

I have two macs, and I keep the music on each on a separate hard drive.  The content each hard drive is almost identical, apart from a few additional albums I added a hard drive and will add finally the second hard drive.

All ideas and solutions grateful received.

A playlist is only a text list of titles and their properties, not the real media.  Is it playlist import?  On my version of iTunes playlist tells iTunes to get the media to the location of the library on the original drive, so it won't work unless the player is connected.

  • Transfer playlists

How can I transfer playlists when moving to a new laptop.

When I transferred my library only my music has been copied into Itunes but not reading or audio books, lists etc. ?

You need to transfer the full library (by default, the file C:\Users\\Music\iTunes user nameand all its contents)-the symptoms you describe suggest that you only copied your media folder.  Your playlists are all defined in the iTunes ( iTunes Library.itl file) - including this database during the migration of your library ensures that playlists, play counts, ratings, etc. are all available on the new PC.

  • Media player 11 stops at the wide/close when I try to play streaming audio player or external ripped music.

Just got a new PC.  XP pro, winplayer 11.  Open the drive, access stored external hardrive bookmarks/libraries, select ANY song, it starts to play (no noise, just the moving bar), and it gives me the dialog box "I am broken, do I have to send a report" immediately and closes.  To do this, with most of my Media Center radio station playlists as well.  Updated media information exchange, restarted (player and PC) with no resolution.

You have no third-party plug-ins WMP installed? You can check through the tools - Options - plugins (press Ctrl + M, if you don't see the Tools menu). If there are third-party plug-ins, disable or remove it and check if the problem persists.

If you have installed the codec, such as K-Lite packs, then I suggest that you remove these establishments.

  • playlist e200v2 holds only 250 songs

I created the playlist in winamp and Microsoft media player. The playlist is approximately 500 songs. When I move them on my device list is only 250 songs. All the songs are transferred, but the list has only 250 entries.

    Any suggestions

Playlists m3u format are imited to 250 entries on the v2 models. It has been brought to an update of the firmware of rocket, but we won't see more of those for the e200 series.

You can also create playlists format PLA (although it can be a little more complicated on the v2). They have no limits and you can also combine music from two sources of memory (player & card).
