Hello guys. This is my first post in this forum.
I already ran the Microsoft fixit CD/DVD drive and the problem is the media in the CD/DVD drive is not readable (hp DVDRAM GT30L). I also tried the DVD in my desktop DVD player and stands so the problem is in the CD-ROM of the laptop.

Well you have studied the issues pretty well. Could be material.
You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
correctly.
A CD/DVD cleaner might help.
CD have a tolerance + - and your must read on the edge outside these tolerances of discs.
They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.
Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.
Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
do it right.
Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.
Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.
Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
the parameters.

Solution: The USB floppy drive is not recognized during installation of XP of RAID

This Solution is for notebooks Qosmio with RAID driver during (manual installation of windows)
I found the Solution to this problem,
[When you install Microsoft Windows XP by using a floppy drive USB on a player who]
requires a driver during the installation, the USB floppy drive is not recognized in all
installation. When Windows XP searches the driver of the second time, he will not be able to see
the floppy USB drive drive and prompts the user for the driver (RAID) again.

Solution:
This is a limitation of Microsoft, the Floppy Drive are do not appear in the file Windows 'txtsetup.sif.

Cloning hard drive with Clonezilla failed, gave a bad sector error message and now the original hard drive will not boot
Original title: startup problem
I tried cloning from my hard drive with Clonezilla, and he gave me a bad sector error. I have since run the hard drive test in bios and it passed. Anyway, clone has failed, and now the original hard drive will not boot. My dvd player won't turn when I try to load the Vista repair CD (Vista Home Premium 32 bit). Clonezilla removes the start settings for the original disc? And if so, how can I restore it? The computer starts just a black screen with a cursor at the top left. When I install the hard drive in a box and connect it to another computer, it shows the partitions and files all seem to be there.

Clonezilla is not supported by Microsoft.
If you are unable to boot from the Vista repair disk then you will need to go into the system BIOS and make sure that it is configured to boot from the DVD drive.

How to fix the fsck "your drive could not be partitioned..." Bootcamp does not
Hello, after days of searching for a solution and try several times to fix this, I write a question.
I want to create a partition with Bootcamp to install Windows 7. Here's what I made in the following order:
- Tried to partition with bootcamp, but he was only let me pick 32 GB or 1024 GB (which I did not available).
- Manually create the partition with utility disk and at the start of my flash, found that USB 3.0 drive / Bluetooth drivers don't would not load then ran in question where I couldn't go beyond 'select language' screen on Win 7 install.
- Tried to restart and delete my partition but noticed that I couldn't so I had to boot in recovery of the Internet and the use of the terminal commands and gpt, deleted the unused partition and used disk utility to merge it into main drive. I followed these instructions: deleted my bootcamp partition, but can not resize my osx partition
- Re-directed training camp and received the error "your drive could not be partitioned."
- Disc repair/check etc. ran and found errors.
- Run fsck by this thread that your disk cannot be partitioned. Win7 Bootcamp and still got here.
- Thought that maybe filevault caused outcome so disabled that. 48 hours later my 2.3 TB have been deciphered.
- Ran bootcamp, same problem.
- Run fsck, same problem.
- Currently using TestDisk to analyse the sectors on disk 1, correct? :
I'm ready to create another partition manual if I can get drivers USB/BT to work.
Furthermore, anyone know why there is a limit of 32 GB/1024 on the size of my partition for bootcamp? Why can't choose anything between the two?

How is formatted the external hard drive? Is the file system on the drive Mac OS extended (journaled) or other system files? Is the drive directly connected by USB or similar, or is it a SIN?

I understand from your description you have posted, that the external hard drive is not recognized by the computer of Windows 8.
Before you continue with the troubleshooting steps, please answer the questions below.
(1) have you checked with different ports or different computers?
(2) remember to make changes before this problem?
(3) you are able to detect the drive in disk management?
I suggest to follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.
Method 1: Run the troubleshooter of material and check out la.
Follow the steps to run the Troubleshooter:
(a) press the Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the charms.
(b) type of Troubleshooting , and then click solving problems under settings.
(c) now, type Hardware Troubleshooter in the option Search .
(d) click on hardware store to run the troubleshooter.
If you are able to detect the drive in disk management, I suggest you to assign a letter.
Method 2: Assign drive letter:
The disk management.
To assign a drive letter if it has not already received, click Add, click the letter you want to use, and then click OK.
To change a drive letter, click on edit, click on assign the following drive letter, click the letter you want to use and then click OK.
To remove a drive letter, click on remove and then click Yes to confirm that you want to remove.

I think it's a matter of calibration of lens readers possibly the lens can not calibrate correctly in the right position of s, and this is why the drive can't handle the inserted media.
This could be the worst case, because this fault is repairable by replacing the drive.

iMac G3 Tiger Installation "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer.

I try to install Mac OS X Tiger on my iMac G3 slot loading 400mH. The system is compatible all I checked before installing. I was able to start on the first disc very well. It is installed properly, until he asked for disc 2. When I put in the disc, it turns a little, and then do absolutely nothing. It just sits there even ask for the disc. After having let it run all night, I decided that the only option was to hold the power button. When I turned the machine back on, it gave me the error "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer. He then ejected the disc.
What are my options?
One thing I forgot to mention, is that I have created these disks under windows with a program called TransMac. It was the first program that I found which could create for Mac bootable discs. The fact that he created the first a perfectly fine leads me to believe that it is not my Windows and Mac computer. I could be completely wrong, and if so what is a better program. I am not of any other Mac other than the G3.

Historically, the Mac have trouble starting from system disks burned. As you say, the first one worked, so you might be on the right track. Have you tried to make a new second drive from the same program? Maybe there is a media problem or an engraving error.
The other problem could be the source of installation of Tiger. Apple has distributed never freely as each copy that you find on the internet - free or paid - are pirated and may even be compromised. It happened more than you think. There are a lot of reports of people for an OSX version here as an internet download and even pay for it, only to find that it works at all. I've seen downloads Mac OS offered for sale even on sites like eBay (I point out them).
So this begs the following question - where did you Tiger?
If we get that worked, we ned to continue what I have some experiences with Panther and Tiger on the iMac of the same model which can be useful

The fact is that you can change 5 times this option, then the option is locked and it of not possible to change it.

Satellite A100: Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 841S will not play modern DVD
It's weird, music CD's fine, game DVD and data DVDs no problem but if I want to watch a recent movie, my dvd drive is disabled. What a weird copy protection? I bought this partially to watch movies when the main TV set wasn't available and I feel ripped off the coast. Old DVDs are fine (the monster inc etc). Work on this late nights trying to see what is wrong. The DVD even work on my friends mac so I don't understand. He believes that it is a windows thing done on purpose.

Could you tell us what films (title), you have a problem with?
Perhaps you have trouble with the more recent Double-Layer (9 GB) DVD.
Of course, it may be a copy protection, too cause some movies using a very unusual way to make sure that they play on a "locked region" disc.
Using any software on your laptop that are able to "Rip" or "simulate" a DVD? If so, that the existence of such software could prevent the normal functioning of the specific movie titles
Many films are also not not not to work on the readers of 'Region free '. These DVD movies check if your player is able to play a 'region' that is different than the current DVD that plays, and if they do, they will not start.
