Media Player - create CDs for use in car stereo

I created an audio cd from my pc to play on my car stereo.  He plays the first track and continues until what I hit the button "skip" date on which he plays the next song.  How can I create a cd that plays all the tracks automatically?

Hello

What version of the operating system you are using on the computer?

The audio CD can be played in almost every CD player, including those found in
stereos, domestic, radio cars and computers. Your car radio does not support the format of the files whose data DVD burned. You will need to burn audio
CD instead of a CD and data verification.
You can select the speed of lower combustion for optimum results.

  • Media Player network sharing service uses 40% of my processor

    Hello

I bought the HP P6270IN with win 7. everything is perfect, but... I have a problem... media player network sharing service uses 40% of my processor . I do not want to use WMP library. Please advice how to solve this problem.

    Parth

    Hi Parth,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

You use the Windows Media Player network sharing feature?

If you use this service while the service is required to operate to check computers or network devices with which you share your music. This service also index/updates of the library that is shared.

If you do not use this service and still is using the CPU you can change the type of start up manual (which is to be launched by the user).

    To disable the service temporarily

    1. opening the Services Control Panel, or type services.msc into the start menu search/run box.

    2. double-click on Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, and then change the service to Manualstartup.

This has now disabled temporarily the service unless you manually start the service. You can restart the computer and check if the service has been stopped and the CPU usage was down.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    I appreciate the effort made by you trying to solve the problem. I'll be happy to help you with your query. However, let me ask you;

    1. What was the result of the System File Checker?
    2. Have you tried to restore the computer to an earlier point of time?
    3. Remember to make any hardware/software specific to change before the show?
    4. The problem occurs in safe mode?
    5. What is the brand and model of the computer?

The issue may be due to various reasons. However, in accordance with the description and troubleshooting steps already tried, it seems that the problem is related to hardware, especially graphics card or its driver.

Please go to Safe Mode (computer restart, press the F8 key when the boot menu appears, select [Safe Mode] and start-up) and check if the problem persists. If the problem does not occur, please uninstall the graphics card from the Device Manager and reinstall it to see if the problem can be solved:

    2. Double-click on it for graphics cards.
    3. Right-click on the graphics card, and then click Uninstall.

Please check if the problem persists. If this isn't the case, run Windows Update to install and download the driver. Or, you can go to the manufacturer's Web site to download the driver as well.

However, if the problem persists, please unplug all unnecessary devices, and then follow these steps to see if you can find the culprit:

    1. Click Start, type Device Manager in the search bar and press ENTER.
    2. Expand sound, video and game controllers.
    3. Right click on your sound card, and then click Properties.
    4. In the menu drop-down of the use of the device, choose do not use this device (disabled) , and click OK.
    5. Please use the same method to disable any other questionable material such as: network card, internal modem and CD - R drive. Please note that some devices such as the video card are not available should be disabled.

From now, please try the above steps and let us know the result as well as the answers to the questions, we will be happy to help you further.

  • Windows Media Player - no sound for videos

Windows Media Player 11 - will play videos (.) MOD files) and the DVD but with NO AUDIO.  It plays music (.mp3) files fine with sound, so I know the speakers work fine.  PowerDVD program will play audio and video very well, but no Media Player (or RealPlayer besides).  I seem to recall having this problem of her before but was able to get it fixed somehow.  I had to reformat my computer during the winter well and now again manage this noise problem.  I don't know if it's a codec issue or what, and if it's a codec problem I have no idea how to fix this.  I use Windows XP SP 3.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Media Player saying improperly installed reinstall

    Hi Christine,

I do not know which version you use (of anything), but you can download Media Player 11 for XP here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=1D224714-E238-4E45-8668-5166114010CA&displaylang=en (NOTE: this is for XP 32-bit.)  If you have XP 64-bit, use http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=C6A4CECB-9CB2-42F7-8814-7CB5067EE958).  Once downloaded (save it to your desktop), then try to install it and see if that helps.  Before you begin, be sure to check the system requirements to make sure, that it can be installed, or if you need to do something before doing so.

If this does not work, we will need to know a lot more about the exact message you get (Word for Word), the version of Media Player you use now (version 10 or 11), the version of Windows you are using (for example, 32-bit XP Professional SP3 or other), when this problem started and all changes made to the system since just before you start (new facilities new updates (, new material) and what you can provide that might help us.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Window Media Player 11 - prompt for information already filled in under "Advance Tag Editor" does not appear

Earlier when using "Advance Tag Editor" in Window Media Player 11, singer and other information earlier filled by me, names appeared automatically by typing just a letter of the word. For eaxample so I had previously filled Mohd. Rafi 'Artist Info' and if I needed to write again Mohd. Rafi for the song under this column, just by typing M, name and surname as Mohd. Rafi used underneath and just by clicking on it, it is used to get automatically filled in the column. Now, he can't like that. I write full name every time. Please guide me as to what I should do. According to me, a box has been "unmarked" by me in error as this prompt for more information, already filled, is no longer available.

  • How to stop sharing folder Windows Media Player executable because it uses too much CPU?

How can I disable the network share (wmp.share) because he is constantly using too much CPU? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hello
    • This happens while Windows running media player?
    • What were the changes made before the problem occurred?
    You can view these methods:
    Method 1:
I recommend you perform the clean boot.

Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:
I suggest that you try to reset the media library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.
-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists.

  • Removal of Windows Media Player "Library" entries for files that I deleted

I deleted a bunch of files of music from my computer (directly in Windows Explorer), but registration for the music files deleted still appear in my Windows Media Player "library".  I tried to right click and select 'Delete', but it does NOTHING.

Any ideas how I get rid of these old entries. I hope I don't have to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player!

    SHE FOUND!

If you have a large number of entries in doubles in your library (or if your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library.

Method 1: To resolve this problem, clear the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  • Lost audio on Windows Media Player-Windows 7 - after using the importer of music Amazon

I lost the audio for Windows Media Player after that download music Amazon importer to import music from I tunes to my new Kindle fire. I realized this after you use Windows Live Media Player to do a 'film' and then save and send an e-mail (the file is compressed and will open with Windows Media Player). The recipient, however, can hear the sound.  Any ideas?

Problem has been solved-am embarrassed to say that the sound was low. Very embarrassed to say I didn't know that the sound on my computer is not the same as the definition of the sound of the media player.

I am running Windows 7 and Media Player will not set up playlists. The same thing in Media Center. Apparently, the files are corrupted. I have a second user and everything seems fine. How can I fix my side? I tried to re install but that has not worked.

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

You have problems in the use of playlists in Windows Media Player.

As the question does not work in another user account, I suggest you to fix the damaged account.

  • When Windows Media Player is available for Surface RT so that I can play my Disney movies to the digital copy are a format WMV DRM?

I have dozens and dozens of Disney films to digital copy in DRM'd WMV format that I downloaded from the packs of Disney DVD/Blu Ray / Digital Download that I bought.  They play fine on Windows Media Player on Windows 8 Pro.  But there is no media player everywhere where they will play on the Surface RT. I think it was very bad judgment and taste do not include Windows Media Player with Windows RT.  Before purchasing a program to remove the DRM and convert the file format, I have no way to watch the movies I paid for and legitimately possess as digital copies on my RT of Surface. The #1 reason why I bought a Surface RT was so that we can watch movies on the go. I'm really disappointed in the experience of the RT and the value for money. When Microsoft released Windows Media Player for Windows RT to correct this gross oversight?

    Hey there,

The short answer is probably never. Surface RT doesn't have a license to play DRM content, so unless Microsoft Gets a license, you will not be able to play your DRM WMV files... or can you?

Follow the steps in this link:

    http://www.surfaceforums.NET/forum/Pavtube-software-Studio/2397-transfer-play-digital-copy-movies-surface-RT-tablet.html

Basically, you need to download a DRM remover, run it and transfer it to the surface. It explains how to convert the format of WMV to mp4 say however, there are enough apps in the store play WMV files that you shouldn't have to be converted if you do not want. With respect to the transfer to the surface, personally, we use Skydrive, but you can use any method you want. In addition, you do not have to use the Remover suggested in the article, now that you know that they exist, you can search and find your own.

    I hope that helped!
