  • Vista Ultimate 64 Media Center Guide showing now "No Data available" on all THE TRACKS!

At Microsoft, Please will someone give me a solution to this? I see other users having the same problems, but none of the solutions have worked on my system.

Problem: The guide in my Vista Ultimate 64 Media Center went to the indication "No Data available" on two large local stations to show on all THE stations, making it unusable guide and the Media Center unprogrammable.
The Media Center and the Guide were great features and additions to my ATSC OTA television until mid-June, when this two station (and their substrings) launches it first stood. Now it's total.

I downloaded both MCETVPack Windows6. 0-KB966315-x 64.msu and Windows6. 0-KB967632-x 64.msu , but the TWO open a dialog box reading "this update does not apply to your system."

I tried to configure my TV options in Media Center repeatedly, but this does not change a thing.

Please give me a solution that works with my system.

    Hi John Pendleton.

Please check that the updates of windows are installed on the computer, including service packs.

I would like for you to try the following steps as well:

Go to the media guide and select the channel that you have a problem with.

Make sure that you can recover the programs before performing this procedure, because if you cannot receive the programs you won't have the registration guide either.

Open the Program Guide and navigate the Canal problem.  Right click on the channel of the problem and choose settings.  Then click TV, click Guide, and then add announces to the channel, click the channel of problem and change to one of the channels below the list (for example, 4Music).

Click Save button. Now click on the channel you selected (for example 4Music) and repeat the procedure but cela suite scroll delay to find the channel of problem.

Click on save and go on the media guide and registration should now appear.   If this is successful, you will need to perform this procedure for the other channels as well.  Check if the guide works correctly.  Let us know the results in your response.

I hope this information is useful.

  • Windows Media Player 11 Date added function - please stop repeating the date for EACH file.

I have been using Media Player 9, decided to upgrade to Windows Media Player 11, and the only thing I can not stand on Player 11 is how it sorts Date added media files.  In Player 9 when I chose the column Date added, the program would list all the files on a given under a SINGLE date.  With Windows Media Player 11 it lists EACH file with a date so that instead of see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 once and then listing all of the files under it, I see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 about twenty times.  I download podcasts once a week and dump it on my phone, but it's a worry now.  Is it possible to stop Windows Media Player 11 to repeat the date again and again and force him to the date that the list only once?  Think back to Player 9.  Alex

    Hi Alex103,

It's design in Windows media player 11 and it is also included in Windows Media player 12.

However, you can uncheck this option, follow the steps below:

    a. open windows Media player

    b. right-click on one of the sorted column

    c. click Choose column

    d. uncheck data added

  • Windows Media Player accidentally uninstalled windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I accidentally uninstalled Windows Media Player from my Windows 7 Professional 64 bit software.  I had a chat with Microsoft's response line and they would help only if I purchased a support package for $99 or $149.  No thanks.  But they sent me a suggestion to look in Windows features to see if it has been disabled.  This isn't my problem.  The program is gone now - uninstalled, deleted registry entries.   I wonder if I get get that he downloaded from Microsoft no additional (or nominal cost) or elsewhere.  The extent of the "elsewhere" is concerned I googled until, until my fingers fell. • Is there a possibility that MusicBrainz can be added as a data provider for Windows Media Player

When you use Windows Media Player, I was hurt a lot to identify my music. A lot of music I have is not available in the Microsoft music meta service database. What gives? Would be nice if Microsoft could be added to their database. MusicBrainz is a big data provider for Windows Media Player and would make it easier for information about the available media. Data MusicBrainz are permitted in the public domain and some under Creative Commons (CC) license. I don't think that Rovi has a contract saying to Microsoft data to use. I can cite other data in addition to the AMG providers: Journal of CD Japan, CD newspaper China, ZACR DBS and feedback from users. I can almost guarantee you if Microsoft used the MusicBrainz data, Windows Media Player would be much easier for the Organization of the music. Data MusicBrainz are much better quality than WMP user feedback data.

So, the thing is, in the drop-down list on Windows Media Player, where it is supposed to be written 'CD or data DVD' in the 'Burn' section, there is only the option "data CD". Reading through the internet I can't find an answer on this error. First of all, I'm sure that my DVD drive can burn the DVD, I have a lot of DVD burned on other programs, but the Windos Media Player is the best option to save my music library prety and though I can use other programs that I wanted to use Windows Media Player.

PS: I don't have that 1 driver CD/DVD in my PC.
