Media Player stops during playback of cd

This same question has been asked several times.  None have had attached useful voices.  I have hp w / vista.  It happens with any installed cd.  I tried to delete upper and lower filters as well as the link reported to microsoft to check the disk.  Nothing has worked.  Given that this has been reported so many times, I thought that maybe it would be useless, but...

  • Satellite R630 - Media Player stops when you watch DVDs

    Hey,.

    When I want to watch a DVD, it must first about 5 min until the R630 can play the movie. MainMenu works no problem, but when I want to start a real movie there a big delay.
    Then after seeing about 10 minutes, the Windows media player stops the film and I have to wait 10 min, until what it continues still.

    Does anyone has the same problem?

    Is there a solution?

    Have you noticed this problem with a DVD only, or with all DVDs you have?

    You should test another player in my opinion. VLC media player is the best for audio and video files because it s freeware and can play all video and audio files. You can download it here:

    But that s just my personal opinion

    I have a Lenovo older G470 of 1 week I've discovered recently guard spontaneously stopping during playback of the facebook/youtube videos. This occurs regardless if I'm on battery or connected to AC power.

    My G470 has an i5 - 2410M with 8 GB memory, ATI Radeon 6370 M and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

    Someone has similar problems? If so is there a fix?

    try the bios flash update and/or to update the drivers for graphics cards.

    Media player stops especially if another activity and back. Then I have to restart.  I also regularly breaks in the music. I have to use Band In a Box which also took a break from time to time.

    Method 2: I suggest to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media player, and check if that helps.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player:

    Step 1: Turn off Windows Media Player:
    a. go to start and in the search type 'Turn Windows has or not'.
    b. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    c. find multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    d. restart the computer
     
    Step 2: Enable the Windows Media Player:

    I suggest to disable audio enhancements and check if you're able to play .wmv files. Follow the method 1To disable audio improvements.

    Method 1:

    a. Open Sound by clicking on the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel.

    (b) in the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

    c. on the playback tab, click speakers and then click Properties.

    d. click the enhancements tab, and then select Disable all enhancements checkbox.

    I would say as update you the video card drivers and check if the problem persists:

  • Windows Media Player stops playing and will not rip

    All of a sudden my windows closed media player just works fine. He'll read that cd is inserted and it will start playing the first song, but after 1 minute and 3 seconds it stops playing and gives me an error of the cd (no cd) is damaged or dirty (BUT I tried two new CD). Also, when I try to rip CDs, it won't work. It tries and then gives errors. I recently got a new driver, and it worked perfectly. I had trouble with my hard drive and had to replace me. This is the first time I tried to use Windows media player to play a cd, since the hard drive replaced and have had these problems. Please please help. I don't know what to do. I works on Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. My computer is up to date on all updates and I'm stumped. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    2. What is the file format of you play it?

    I suggest you to reduce hardware acceleration for windows media and (if supported) graphics card player

    I suggest you to make Windows Media Player as a default player.

    You can also change the hardware acceleration and check.

    Try to reduce (or turn off) video hardware acceleration by doing the following

    a. open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, clicking
    Setting screen resolution.

    b. click Advanced settings, click the Troubleshooting tab and then click change settings.

    Note that some video card drivers do not allow allows you to change the settings.

    c. move the hardware acceleration slider toward none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.
